Friendly, fast, and filling. That is what this place boils down to. The employees are all smiles and hustle, whether keeping the place clean or concocting your pita creation, the people here are engaged and working hard to make this a good experience for you. My personal favorite is the Gyro. I would not go so far as to say it is authentic, because I ain’t Greek. I will say it compares pretty well to the stuff I enjoyed back on the East Coast, however. What really impresses me is the massive salad bar worth of fresh veggies you can cram on your meal. Lettuce, spinach, or cabbage. Or all three, why not? Plus about a gazillion other fresh options. And lots of great sauces. Warning: the Buffalo Sauce is no joke! I love it but it definitely has kick! For your beverage pleasure, they have one of those million choice Coke machines. They also have iced tea options. Great lunch place, hands down.

I really love pita pit in general because pitas are such a great improvement over subway sandwiches, with less bread and more filling. Reasons this pita pit is awesome: –superior customer service –really cool manager who works really hard even when she’s pregnant –clean –great music selection –fast –close to Gonzaga –cool pop machine

When compared to the Pita Pit downtown, there is a MUCH heavier college atmosphere at this particular location; it’s fitting. Being immediately next to Gonzaga University this place does a much heavier late night business than its downtown counterpart and is usually staffed appropriately for the volume. The staff is usually comprised of college students, or people who look like they could be college students, and they are all pretty easy-going. They will hook you up if you tip well at this location!
