Great food efficient staff. Menu good for kids. Prepared to our dietary limits. Had to rush the order due to travel saved us lots of time. Quality of food was excellent. The kids cleaned their plates which surprised me. Hope to make happy hour here. Very near airport and lots of parking.

I tried the lobster bisque, far from what I’ve had really top ones at other places and it was more like coarsely ground up tunafish and tomato soup. Also gave the Beef stroganoff a try and it was more bland gravy than beef. To be fair maybe I should try something else but honestly I don’t think I’m going to bother. Way too pricy even if it was good

The food is Perkins quality but double the price. I had the prime rib dip with sweet fries, the fries were great, the dip was salty and had a different taste to it… herby. My friend had the prime rib stroganoff, sounded delicious but it didn’t taste delicious, much too salty and the gravy tasted like it was from a package. The ambiance is nice but the quality of the food does not match. I do not have the urge to return.

First off, when ur aging mother, who isn’t getting any younger asks for a well done burger and gets a burnt burger, shame on u! Second, I thought the Frozen coloring books in the waiting room were for kids but it turns out they were a warning for the temperature in the restaurant. Thirdly, what’s up with all the moosen(plural form of moose)? I mean I get it, it’s called the Rusty Moose but dudes, loosen on the mossen. *Good food would recommend

My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant. We went to the lounge for dinner and no one really intruded on us while we were eating and the waitress knew the menu. The food was good but check everything if your allergic to dairy the food,(the feud have cheese on them). We will be back to eat on a date night. The prices were a bit spendy but it’s worth it.

Dinner with family for graduation celebration. Food was excellent. Waitress seemed a little overwhelmed with a party of 14 but she got the job done. Will definitely go again maybe just me and my husband. Food was super I had a grilled chicken salad. Husband had a burger both were excellent. Next time 4 stars.

It’s nice to walk from Hilton Garden Inn. I had the Blackened Rib eye without seasoning or sauce medium rare. The steak was about ½ «thick. Very tough. It is extremely lean, no marbling. They grilled nicely, but couldn’t easily cut it and even more difficult to cut. Other menu choices were all ground meats with sauces. I am always suspect when restaurants put lots of sauce on an otherwise great meal. For $ 30, this was a Dennys cut steak. Won’t eat here again.

My family and I have eaten here a couple times and it’s always up and down. One time we had elk and venison burgers and it was good(up). Then another time I had fish and chips which were still dripping grease, so it made the fish soggy(down). Last night I tried the bison ribs($ 29) which were tough and the red wine bbq sauce was so bad I forced myself to eat one rib and just stopped eating it(down) and the blackened salmon($ 18) my wife got had worms in it(down) and her food was cold(down). Another down is the cheap ribs my kids ate were better than the pricey menu items. The kitchen also forgot the kids burger for our 2yr old and it didn’t even have cheese on it like asked or came with the correct. I will say that our waitress was awesome(up) but for the price for their poor quality food I can’t rate the Rusty Moose average.

Staying out at the Northern Quest Casino hotel, and just wanted to get out for food. Airway Heights is not known for places like this so did not know what to expect when we rolled in. When you enter you will be surprised how totally cool and northwest outdoorsy the décor is. They have put a LOT of effort and expense into making the visual appeal high. In addition to visually pleasing, the noise level was low here. They were playing good music at a low level, but loud enough to hear it. Can’t stand sports bars, etc because of the noise, so this was a nice factor. Menu was good, they do have a lot for the meat lover, but I am gluten and dairy free so the fish tacos was an awesome choice for me. The Cod was good, not rubbery, and came with roasted pepper aioli, cabbage and corn tortillas. Came with 3 pieces, and was filling for me. Got a side salad with a good balsamic dressing. Everything was fresh, had great flavor. Son had the prime rib dip, loved it. The waffle fries were crispy and seasoned just enough. We loved it all. Service was wonderful. We rolled in for an early dinner on a Sunday so not like a Friday night, but still the service was very fast and accurate. Prices are very reasonable in my opinion. I live near Seattle, and that meal in my area would easily cost $ 5 more. Definitely will come here again when we are in the area.

Outperformed expectations. Signature burger was excellent, onion rings and deep-fried mozzarella was even better. Good atmosphere, a little on the pricey side, but I would recommend this place to friends.

Ambiance to match the great food. Prices are just right. Very nice menu selection. I tried the steak and pasta, it was awesome but for a small error on my part :) … I made the mistake of having it medium well, the meat toughened up when cooked(as should be expected with some steak cuts), next time I’m doing medium rare ! But otherwise, all round great experience. My buddies tried the fish and chips, and only left the crumbs.

It’s been years since I’ve been here but from what I do remember it was a solid restaurant to go to. Especially if you were at Fairchild and didn’t want to drive all that far. If I were back in Spokane, I’d definitely think about making another visit.

Just ate at the Rusty Moose again after about 4 years of not living in the area… I must say I was let down with the quality and overall taste of the food. I wanted to try something different instead of a burger do I ordered the Prime Rib Stroganoff. Looked good on the menu! I was excited to try it. Before it came out I got a Caesar salad and a bowl of their smoked potato soup I think it was called. Salad was basic but good and the soup was pretty tasty with a smokey flavor as advertised. Their house amber ale was decent with a lighter flavor. So far, so good. Entrée arrived and after the first bite I was immediately let down by the flavor. Bland and salty. Ugh. So frustrating. I really wanted to like it. And the«prime rib» was definitely NOT prime rib. Idk what kind of cut that was but the meat was thin and chewy and virtually had no flavor except for salt! Prime rib is supposed to be succulent and tender and this was neither. Huge dissapoint from his entrée. Wife had blackened salmon and having lived in Anchorage for the last 3 years and knowing what real seafood tastes like, this was not it. Her meal was a huge letdown as well. Salmon was over cooked and bland. Came with rice and green beans and both were not worth it. Simple and uninspired meals. My mom had fish and chips(cod) which I tried and it was actually good. Breading on fish was tasty and came with a ton of fries. Homemade tartar sauce too was good. This place used to do breakfast which I remember being very good but I guess they don’t anymore? Long way to drive for the high prices and mediocre food. Kind of sad because it’s a beautiful restaurant and I really wanted to like the food. I’ll probably be back in the future if I get a wild hair in my ass and decide to give them another shot! Third star is only because of the ambience and décor and service was good from our sweater vest wearing server.

Wonder restaurant, love the décor and friendly service! The flat bread could be a meal in itself. Salad fresh crisp. A must revisit stop!

I had the Rack of ribs with fries and i loved it. delicious and the sauce was sweet but mild. the thin fries along with it was a perfect pair. my daughter had the mac & cheese and it was really good you could truly taste the realness of the cheese. my husband said his chicken fried sreak was the best he had ever had super most and his sides where a perfect pair. for dessert we had the s’mores and it was good as well. we will definitely be coming here again.

While travelling I try to stick to places within walking distance of my hotel. This was that place. I went a little late and had no waiting. Right away I was greated by some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. I odered a beer and a prime rib plate. As usual I was asked how I’d like it. I ordered it medium rare. It came out medium or darker. It was a really tough cut with some grizzle. The potatoes were cooked nice as was the veggies. The desserts looked really good though, although I dont have much of a sweet tooth so I skipped it. I ordered a few more beers and xlosing time was approaching. I. bever felt rushed and the staff was super attentive. It wasn’t horrible at all, and I’ll blame my low quality prime rib on the fact that I came close to closing time. If back at that same hotel, I would give them another chance.

Interesting! this is a very well maintained restaurant on the inside. A fantastic rustic look with animals everywhere. My type of place! However the food was not impressive. The lobster bisque soup was very watered down tastes more like the cream then any aroma or flavor of lobster. Very watery. The pulled pork sandwich also tasted like it came from a bag and with a hint of aluminum back flavor. However the coleslaw was very fresh and tasty and sassy. The rusty burger was the best thing of the whole trip. Very fresh, medium well done with bacon and the bun was soft and fluffy like a cloud. The rusty moose would work in a pinch but not really recommended if you’re looking for tasty food that will leave you satisfied when you leave.
