Loved this little place. My friend and I ordered the shrimp mama mia or whatever it’s called and it was amazing! Our significant others ordered the chicken marsala and loved our dishes way more even though theirs were good also. Caesar salad was very tasty as well. Loved the dressing. The bread was not that great but the desserts were all great. We tried the canoli’s, tiramisu and the chocolate mousse which were great! Definitely coming back especially when you and one other person can have all this food for $ 24 total!

Refused to make our two person reservation with an open house… We walked in and made us sit at the bar while tables around us were left open. Food is okay, if you can actually get seated to order. Felt treated like a second rate customer.

Love this place! Exceptional service and the food is top notch! Only downside is being closed on Monday. This is a family run restaurant and blows other Italian cuisine out of the water.

Hubby and I had dinner here and it was delicious. We both had a three course meal 2/$ 24…awesome food for a great price! We will definitely go back. They suggest making reservations because they fill up quickly!

Menus choices were extensive and several in party made different choices. Consensus was all dinners were enjoyed. Service was very good, waitress was friendly and helpful. When bill arrived it indicated a substantial surcharge for privilege to use charge card vs cash. This was disappointing, spoiled the otherwise enjoyable experience.

First time going to Nina Cucina, Got there after 7pm with no reservations was completely packed on a Tuesday night wasn’t expecting that. Owner/hostess was very friendly and attentive had a little wait for a table but nothing major. Our server Nicole was very friendly and apologetic for the lack of servers. I ordered the lemon chicken and my boyfriend ordered the seafood alexander which was great! The chocolate mousse was spectacular. Wasn’t expecting this type of food in Spring Hill. We will be returning to try more items on the menu with friends and family.

I had the three cheese ravioli with a fra diavalo sauce. Very tasty and nice and loaded with hot pepper! The bread they serve is italian but a soft bread, would be much better with a crispy and warm bread. Amy our waitress was very good.

Have been going to Nina’s now for about 3 years, Have loved everything I have ever ordered. It’s beyond expectations. Must call for revelations, they are working on atmosphere, but not quite there yet. Service is excellent, just hasn’t gotten cozy yet. Sometimes we all prefer better food than cozy seating.

Caprese salad was not very good-tomatoes mushy-not what you expect in Fla… Pizza was ok had thin crust but a bit different than the pictures. Wine price was reasonable. –all in all, a bit underwhelming.

Been here twice. We have had the chicken Marsala and the lemon chicken. Both were excellent. The bruschetta was one of the best appetizers we have had. Very good house wine also.

This was my first visit to Nina Cucina. I usually try lasagne on any first visit to a new Italian restaurant and since the server highly recommended it I thought I would try it. If you want real lasagne don’t go to this restaurant. It was 2 small pieces of what is generally know as «rollatini» — a lasagna noodle coated with an extremely thin coating of ricotta, so thin I couldn’t even taste it and a thin layer of meat(ground beef?) all rolled up. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed as a real lasagna is a layered noodle and ricotta and then baked dish. THATWASNOTWHATTHEYSERVED.=, so if you want real lasagna don’t come here. The sauce tasted good but was rather runny as evidenced by the liquid that was separated from the meal just laying in the dish in a pool. It needed to be cooked further. The service was excellent as she visited the table a number of times after serving the meal. I did mention that it was more of a rollatini rather than a real lasagna when she asked how I liked my lasagne. He reaction was odd… as if she had never had a real lasagna and just shrugged it off… kind of like«oh well, that’s what we call lasagne so eat it». The chocolate mousse I had for dessert was something very odd– scooped out with a small ice cream scooper. All said, what a waste of time and money!!!

Stopped in for a date night and had another great experience. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to get us in. We had wine and amazing food for a great price! I had the chicken morreli(sp?). It was breaded chicken breast over sautéed organic spinach in a lemon wine sauce. It was yummy. My husband had the linguini & clams fra diablo which had great flavor. I like to try something new each time and I’ve never been disappointed!

My mother in law made a reservation for six. Upon arrival there was a little mixup because there was only one high chair in the whole restaurant. The place was quite full. It took a while to get service at first, but once we placed our orders everything came out in perfect timing. The baby was served first which kept us all happy. Everyone enjoyed each course. It was truly reasonably priced home style Italian.

Love Nina’s! Come in almost weekly. Fresh sauce that I love. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Cozy décor, great prices and great food. I haven’t had a bad dish here. And the pizza is fantastic!!! Light and crispy with loads of flavor! I recommend this to everyone I talk to! Support your local business!

Great food, great service, great prices. What more needs to be said? With a solid menu of Italian favorites, there’s a little something for everyone. What’s more, the food is very well prepared and presented. You can tell some real thought went into developing these recipes. The staff is quick and friendly, and even though we stayed past the official closing time, we never felt rushed to finish and leave. This is a restaurant I will definitely visit again the next time I’m in Spring Hill!

Nina’s Cucina on Kass Circle has been a favorite of mine ever since I stumbled in one day for lunch and tried their burger. Their aim is to provide reasonably priced, fresh made food in a family friendly setting, and it’s a goal that I dig. I have a lot of respect for the owner for putting his heart and soul into his cuisine and offering a perspective that isn’t really prevalent in Spring Hill. Nina’s only started offering pizza about five months ago and I waited with bated breath for the first list of pizza combinations. Despite the restaurant not being a ‘pizzeria’ as such, I was impressed by their pizza and would be doing a disservice to my readers if I didn’t include it in this competition. First off, there are two different varieties of pizzas offered at Nina’s. They have gourmet pizzas featuring specialty ingredients, such as roasted tomatoes, peppers, feta, spinach and prosciutto, as well as simpler offerings such as sausage, a margherita pizza, chicken and more of the ‘favorites’. I tried the Pizza Sophia for the purposes of this competition, which consists of plum tomatoes, spinach and feta cheese. The crust is a thinner style and crisps up very nicely. The Chef and owner, Tony, did let me in on the secret of how he is able to create this perfectly crisp yet supple crust but… Well, I can’t tell you. OHMYGOD. Words cannot do this pizza justice. I go to Nina’s at least twice a month and originally my goal was to try everything on the menu. Since my taste buds first met this pizza, I don’t think I have even tried anything else. I even order it as an appetizer for the table sometimes if nobody else is having it, just so my friends and family can try it for themselves. Nina’s offers individual sized pizzas(nothing over $ 8) that are perfect for a dinner. I don’t know anyone that has been less than impressed. I knew for sure it was a winner when my mother-in-law(who is a fantastic Italian cook) commented«this is the way pizza is supposed to taste» when she tried the pizzas at Nina’s. Truer words were never spoken. Try it; you will not be disappointed.

Very disappointed, first time customer last time customer. We were there to celebrate a friends birthday and service was less than impressive, food the same. We waited about 45 minutes or more for appetizers, although we had a large party Restuarant was still pretty empty. There’s no reason to wait that long for anything. The spinach appetizer was horrible, a small portion of spinach in water with salt, yummy. The main course had lots of oil, that by the way didn’t taste good, try using better quality oil, not a very tasty meal. Desert was no better. Prior to bringing the check out the waiter announced to the table who ordered the extra dressing for there salad, it’s an extra 50 cents or what the charge was, very classy, especially after waiting so long. This review is the writers opinion only, just saying.

Went on a double date only to be doubled in disappointment. The restaurant has two great reviews which enticed us to try this for dinner one night instead of our regular Italian pick. The décor when you walk in is very nicely done(don’t look at the ceiling) for a mom and pop place. The service however… we waited about 15 minutes to be asked for our drink order, then another 15 to get 3 out of 4 drinks(2 cokes, sweet tea, and a coffee). My coffee came 5 minutes later. Then we ordered our dinner. a family meal meant to serve 4 which sounded amazing. First our salads came out with garlic bread which had a sweet after taste. we then waited for 30 minutes to receive lukewarm chicken alfredo that in my opinion resembled something i could make at home. There was very little interaction from our server which was understandable when they had a full restaurant but continued after they died down and it was us and two other tables and 3 waitresses. I really really wanted to like this restaurant, i did. There were just simply too many errors to make this a great experience and meal. Best advice… go with your gut on this one. I know I will.
