My son and I were going to Chef China(Yum!!!) and thought we’d pick up some frozen yogurt on the way home… BUT Shakers was closed and the sign from the county said it was closed due to VERMIN!!! OKAY… I guess that was the last time we might have stopped there!

This place is way too expensive, doesn’t even taste good, the toppings I got for a dollar equaled 8 old gummy bears and for another dollar for one and half crumbled up bits of stale off brand Oreo. I threw the Oreos away after tasting them finished the gummies luckily had an extra fruit snack pack in my car so I could bare the taste of the low quality yogurt. waste of 6.70somethin bucks

I been coming here since they opened in 2005. The yogurt is delicious and affordable compared to other yogurt shops.

I usually go to Yo Yo’s in Rancho San Diego but decided to try this place because I was heading in that direction. I walked in with my family of 4 and immediately was blown away by how high the prices are. My 9 year old wanted a small cup with a couple toppings and they charge $ 3.95 for the cup then $ 1.00 per topping!!! For his yogurt it would have cost me $ 6.95. We ended up walking out and driving to Yo Yo’s and he got same size cup of yogurt with 7 toppings and it only cost me about $ 3.90. I did not try their yogurt so my review is based on price only and based on the price I would rather have NO yogurt than pay those prices.

My friend and I were walking by and decided to stop in, it’s by far the best yogurt I’ve had! And not to mention the wonderfully friendly stomer service! We will deffinatley be back for more.

They’re really expensive, the quality lacks and the people who work there are super rude and just stare at you blankly when you ask them questions…

The lady is super rude, the ice cream and yogurt tastes god awful(and I’m not picky at all). If the lady wasn’t super rude to us I wouldn’t have had to put this review.

Whoa, all I did was try to go into this place to get some yogurt because I have this little community discount coupon card my neighbor sold me for $ 10 as a fundraiser for school(you know, it’s got promotions for local businesses through out Spring Valley and Lemon Grove, it’s only good for a year) and all I did was tell this to the lady working there(who was on her phone when I walked in, and took her time hanging up) and she went OFF on me about using it, saying she would have to take it from me if I’m going to get anything from there, and she doesn’t know why the business is on there in the first place. All I was doing was INQUIRING, but she was SO rude, I just left. I was really craving yogurt, and had she not been so abrasive, I would have paid full price. No idea how the yogurt tastes because she literally would not let me finish my sentence. Will not be returning OR recommending.

I first called to ask what time they closed and the lady answered saying ‘hello?’ and I was a bit confused so I asked who I called and she said ‘who’s this?’ I asked if it was Shakers and she said yea. Obviously if someone’s calling its a customer why would you ask who’s this? Anyways. I had a really bad craving for a McFlurry and did not want to drive all the way to McDonalds so I decided to come here, So i first walked in and tried the cookies and cream, it was disgusting! tasted like expired milk with chocolate flavor. I ended up buying a mini Vanilla with Oreos my total was $ 4.35 !!! Wth. And there was a .40cent fee for using my card. I should of just drove to McDonalds for the same size I could of bought two…

I had a great Mini cup of vanilla yogurt from here. I was surprised they call it a mini because they sure pack in the yogurt for $ 2.75.( ) For a dollar more, I had them add a generous amount of almonds. The yogurt tasted great and it had a nice smooth texture. They have a variety of flavors and a array of toppings to add. The place was nice and to my surprise, they also serve nachos. The service was great. Good place for ice cream and yogurt.

Love this place. Cheap frozen yogurt, with 12oz being around $ 3.75. Spend $ 5, get a junior size(12oz) frozen yogurt free of charge everyday. And if you don’t feel like having a free one that day, they’ll give you a coupon to get it th next time you come around. Have a coupon from a different frozen yogurt shop? Bring it in. They take all coupons. The selection of flavors is not very big, but it works for me. Vanilla, peanut butter, raspberry tart, plain tart, Irish mint, banana cream, chocolate, and even a sugar free diabetes-friendly strawberry. Along with the frozen yogurt, they also have 99 cent ice cream cones canned drinks/bottled water, and nachos. Keep in mind when ordering that they fill up your cup about 2 inches above where the cup ends, the yogurt is dense, and they don’t try to skimp you. So, order the appropriate size, unless you plan to share, or you will end up with quite the bellyache.

The yogurt itself is amazing! Very creamy and flavorful(currently spoonin’ on a swirl of peanut butter and banana cream pie). There were 8 flavor options today: vanilla, chocolate, tart raspberry, orange vanilla, peanut butter, banana cream pie, mango tango, and one other I can’t remember) However. it seems a little pricey. The yogurt isn’t self serve and you have the option of various sized cups starting at about $ 2 for a kids cup that looks to be just a few ounces. Toppings are $ 1EACH and it looks like they add 1⁄8 cup. I’ll take Yogurtland any day over that! There are also options for shakes(16 ounce with one topping blended together with milk for $ 5) and smoothies. My shake is blended a little bit too well. just makes my Reese’s Pieces feel like sand. Aside from all that, I’ll still be coming back. this yogurt is seriously delicious :)

Good: clean, well organized environment with reasonable pricing on the 8 yogurt flavors. Bad: ridiculous cost of $ 1 per topping for the yogurt and the yogurt served in tall skinny cups that you can barely get your spoon into. Because of the paucity of Yogurt shops in the area it’s the best thing going but definitely not memorable experience

Great frozen yogurt, this place blows away the competition across the street. DONOTGOTOTHEOTHERSIDEOFTHESTREET. They will try to hawk chiropractic care, some other eating establishment, and promote that this stuff will cure acne. Shakers is way better, you won’t get hard sold on anything you don’t want/need, and the girl who works there or maybe she is the owner, is really hot. I want a date now, forget the yogurt. Seriously. Go for the yogurt, leave my girl for me… haha. GO shakers.

OMG! This tiny place is hidden in a strip mall between Starbucks and Chef China. I love the froyo here. If I order a topping(usually granola), they do it the right way. They put half the topping on the bottom, fill ‘er up halfway, add the remaining topping, and fill ‘er up all the way. There’s nothing worse than going to a place and they put the topping on the top. The minute you spoon your way through your frozen delight, the toppings have fallen off. A few of my personal faves… Irish Mint, Peanut Butter, and Tart Strawberry.
