If it were possible to give a place zero stars, that’s how I would rate this subway. And that’s me being generous. My fiancé visited subway today around 3:30 to grab some lunch, and as he went to pay, the heavy set manager/cashier couldn’t tell whether or not his $ 100 bill was legitimate. She went to get a second opinion. My fiancé knew that the bill was in fact legitimate because he had gotten it from the bank yesterday. However the cashier came back to the front of the store, bill in hand, arm flailing in the air shouting«THISIS A COUNTERFEITBILL!!! THISISCOUNTERFEITMONEY!!!» Now, had she quietly told him that she was unsure of its legitimacy because it was an old $ 100 bill, he would have just used his card or given her another bill. However she shouted through the busy subway about how he was trying to pay for his lunch with counterfeit money, quite unprofessional if you ask me. He was angry and shouted back at her, because she intentionally brought negative attention to him for having what she THOUGHT was a fake bill. She needs to learn how to conduct herself in a more professional manner, because she is doing a poor job at representing this subway as a respectable establishment. And even if that bill had been counterfeit, not everyone in possession of counterfeit bills is a criminal, which was how she treated him. He left the subway and went to his union bank across the street to be absolutely positive that his $ 100 bill was legitimate, and they confirmed that it was. So this woman yelled about the store, making a scene for NOREASON. We will NEVER be returning to this subway and we will advise our friends, family, clientele, and coworkers against it as well. Shame on her.
