Should have known better after seeing that the marquee sign hadn’t been maintained and lights were missing. Should have known better after seeing that the grade-school window shades were pulled down to the tops of high-back chairs along the window. Should have known better after seeing how empty the restaurant was on a Saturday night(it *was* raining, but middle of dinner hours). Should have known better after having to ask for water twice, and a menu three times. Yet, craving traditional Vietnamese entrees, my family stayed. Ordered. And grimaced through about half our meals before the empty calories weren’t worth the torture we were putting our taste buds through. — A spicy beef dish which was obviously a *different* beef dish on the menu, garnished with spicy peppers before being served(no spice-heat on beef nor sauce). — Sweet and sour pork which literally tasted like chicken mcnuggets dipped in honey. No sour notes present at all. — Chicken fried rice(catering to a toddler) which had lots of flavor — I would guess about 1 stick of butter’s worth. This dish we minded the least, since the little one needs more calories, and we did appreciate the peas/carrots/shallots cut up in the rice. Many reviews below say the Phở is good. We made the mistake of ordering other items, and due to our poor experience, we will not be going back again. — Poorly maintained exterior — No interior design elements(one TV, on a sports channel, with the sound off) — Cafeteria style layout — No door/sash between dining room and kitchen — Uninspired service from waitstaff Remaining in search of clay-pot pork…

The chicken vermicelli is, by far, my favorite. The chicken is grilled perfectly every time and the vegetables are fresh.

Casual sit down restaurant. The vermicelli and fresh lemon soda are great. Although it is a Vietnamese restaurant, it has some Chinese items on the menus(in case not everyone wants Vietnamese). Wheelchair friendly, clean quiet and spacious.

Phở and vermicelli bowls are the best things to eat there. Super tasty. Rice plates are okay, but not bad. Egg rolls are to die for :)

If you’re used to eating authentic good Vietnamese, skip this place. It will be a huge disappointment. The rice plates were horrible. My husband ordered grilled chicken rice plate and my daughter had the grilled pork rice plate, neither meats were grilled. You can obviously tell it was pan fried. I had the pan stir fry noodle with seafood. It was flavorless and texture was not what Im used to. I must have added a 2 or3 tablespoon of Sriracha just to add flavor to my dish. The only thing good I can say is that it is very clean.

I have been coming to the restaurant since it have been open! I’m Vietnamese and my mom used to own one of the best Vietnamese around. So when I tell you the food is authentic please believe me! They have the best Beef Phở in the North area. It is run by a small family and they are super friendly. All the dishes are pretty good by my favorite are the fries calamari w/salty & pepper, Summer roll(Goi Cuon), Pan Fried Noodle w/seafood and the ice French coffee w/condensed milk is sinful!

It gives me great pleasure to rate businesses at 5 stars when deserved. Kim Long is definitely one of such places. Even though it’s located in a strip-mall type of an area, the interior of the restaurant is very inviting, clean, cozy, really well cared for. The tables are setup nicely with all the right condiments and utensils — everything is impeccably packed and spotless — clean(I guess I keep stressing this point because this is one of the cleanest ethnic restaurants I’ve been to in a while — so very nice!!!). The food was great too. I’ve had really good Vietnamese in Philly and NYC, and Kim Long compares very well — really good authentic Vietnamese dishes, generous portions. My favorite is the phở soups — I like them in all kinds of different combinations. The soup I had at Kim Long(lean meat #18) was delicious!!! The service was great too — attentive, very polite. I am usually very picky about service, and really have nothing to complain about at Kim Long(not sure why one of the previous reviews is a negative one — an off night, perhaps?). The young man and lady who served our lunch today were very attentive, friendly, polite. The food was served promptly, empty dishes cleaned immediately. It was a very pleasant lunch experience! I love Vietnamese food(so comforting!) and am very happy to have discovered Kim Long in this area. Will definitely want to come back!

Nothing special about the food. Food was ok. Now onto the service. The waitress pestered me constantly prior to ordering my food and then disappeared completely for the rest of my visit. I had to wave her down if I wanted anything at all. Didn’t check on my table to see how we were doing at all. Service here gets 0 stars for me. Will not be eating here again.

This was only my second time eating Phở, and it was delicious, ordered the lean meat Phở. We also tried the pork spring rolls; delicious!!! The server was super sweet and helped us figure out what to order, she was very attentive. I loved this place!!!

Clean, nice and quaint. Food is good, wish they had little vietnamese sandwhiches but unfortunatley they do not. Good little restaurant for the area, beat Vietnamese in the area. Little pricey for what you get. Restrooms are always clean and tidy!!! Great place to take the family or a date for dinner.

Nice interior but the stars are misleading. This place is a bit pricey and the food is okay.

We had lunch the food was excellent, the Iced Tea was crisp and clean tasting. The restrooms were spotless. Overall an outstanding restaurant.

We ordered a large #15 and a beef rice plate. Taste is on bar but the price is steep compared to other phở place and size is ridiculously small probably because there is no competition around the area. I would recommend you to go to other Vietnamese restaurant for way better food with way cheaper price.

Not so good. I had the vermicelli with chicken. The chicken breast looked and tasted like an over processed Sysco product. My mom had the pork vermicelli and said the pork was tough. The egg rolls weren’t very good either. I hate leaving bad reviews, but the quality and flavor were not there.

I’m on the search for good phở wherever I am and my staple is always rare steak and tendon. I love the broth and the abundance of tendon here. Definitely worth a trip back.
