Ma Donuts

Great selection of doughnuts and kolaches made fresh every day. Also have a few breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Hard working staff aiming to please. Doughnuts and kolaches we tried were very good. Cute little hole-​in-​the wall spot in a strip shopping center. If you blink, you’ll drive right past it. Plastic tables, vinyl floor, fluorescent lighting, 4 – 5 calendars on the walls that are all out of date. But, hey, you’re not coming here for the atmosphere!
They’re open at 5 am every day… they close at noon on Mon & Tue… and at 1:00 the rest of the week. So, get there in the morning. Seriously, check them out and support a small local business. They’re doing a great job.
Like their to-​go bags say, «You deserve a donut»!!!

The lady was nice comes in and she treats me like family prices are reasonable and there kolaches and donuts are fresh and delish.

Although it was like most donut places. But the kolochis were fresh and tasted great!

I have just moved to the neighborhood and am trying to get around to all the local places… I couldn’t get my head around the fact the donut shop is only open til 1pm! Well, I was out doing some errands yesterday morning and remembered to stop at Ma’s. A simple shop and friendly greeting convinced me to go old school: glazed donut. Well! It was fresh, slightly crispy, light and sweet= perfection! Wish I had another one for today!

Been stopping by here a couple times a month for about a year. I have been happy with them. But lately they have been going down hill. Purchased an apple fritter this morning that had to be at least 2 days old. Took a couple of bites and threw it in the trash. This twice in a row. On the fence as to whether I will go back.

As close to Krispy Kreme as you’ll get in Houston. Much better than the Shipley’s I’ve had. Maybe I was just there at the right time and scored a hot chocolate sprinkle and regular glazed. They have the almost liquid consistency of KK. This will be a regular spot.
