Fine to go out and hack a round, but don’t expect much more.
For $ 14 you can go walk around 9 holes and hack your way to whatever score you deem necessary. I have a couple friends who are new to golfing so this is a great place where they can go and not feel pressured to do this or that. In the same, I’m working on dialing in a new driver and can go out and work on finding my swing.
Don’t expect lush fairways and greens that roll perfectly. you’ll be disappointed. The greens are in poor condition as best and the fairways just depend on the hole. Lots of bare spots to be found. But again, its $ 14 and most of the people here aren’t going out to perfect their game. they are learning the game and finding the keys necessary to enjoy it!

I keep coming back to this place for so many reasons:
— The outright acceptance and encouragement of having kids be able to play golf.
— Everyone I’ve ever met here has been super-friendly and anti-golf-snobbery.
— It’s damn cheap and they let my littlest play without charging him (he never really plays the whole course anyway).
The course does not drain well, so if you’re headed this way after rainfall, expect to wade through puddles. But the course is still tight which makes it fun for those of us trying to get a bit more accuracy out of our game.
