On Dec 21, 2014 some yahoo stole my son’s bike from his second floor balcony. He was very sadden about this. I called Hutch’s to see if they have my son’s bike serial# which they did. I was very impressed & thankful to Hutch’s keeping this on file. My son filed a police report. On Dec 23, my son was driving home saw a kid riding MTB that looked like his bike. He pulled the kid over & questioned him. Kid started to ride off and my son pounced on him & kid ran off. Son was supper happy again to get his bike back. I thank God all is well.

Prices are compairable to other bike shops… no used bikes. The people that work there are know there stuff. Altho they have kind of a get um in get um out attitude it seems. Not very excited? Buying a bike or getting a bike back from repairs or even upgradeing is a happy thing for most people… show some enthusiasm? Idk maby its just the owner sometimes he just seems alittle grumpy. But like i said they know there stuff and have some nice new bikes and offer repairs and tune ups at compairable prices. There the only bike shop in springfield if there was onother id give um a try and compaire. Maby thats the deal there just super busy for lack of compatition? Idk

Went to pick up my daughters bike over at the Eugene location and made an inquiry about a three-wheeled bike(Torker brand), for my Dad and they said their Springfield location had one left in stock so I drove over there to check it out. WOW! These folks know customer service, just like the Eugene location! I had several questions about the bike, accessories etc. All answered in a professional manner. I then inquired about a Specialized Crosstrail Disc for myself. With a quote and information in hand, my wife and I then drove ac cross town to another bike dealer who, as it turned out, the exact same three wheeled bike for about 10% LESS. The problem there was, it was like we were bothering them(this same company has other locations and this is the reason I stopped taking my daughters bike to them for repairs). Rude customers, just butting in as we were asking questions and not being halted by the help. Not no, but HECKNO! The guy further exacerbated the problem with his fumbling through things that I had to lead him into to get the answer I needed. So, in short, the Hutch’s shops, both of them, are stand-up, first cabin. I inquired if they would match the bike price at their competitor and they did. So, did I buy the bike at Springfield Hutch’s? No, I bought two(2). I also bought all of the accessories. Total spent on bikes stands at over $ 1,400 and they now have a customer for life! In the market for a new bike? Swing by and ask for Mark and tell him Bill sent you!
