Conveniently located next door to Lenscrafters, but not part of the store — this is a delightful, laid back but totally professional practice.
I was able to get an appointment the same day. That was great for me because I have been having a lot of headaches since losing my favorite reading glasses and the drug store cheap readers just don’t cut it. The friendly ladies here worked hard to take my insurance (not a VSP, which they take). Still, the exam was inexpensive so no complaints.
Dr. Filipowski was thorough, professional, friendly and explained everything that he saw that was happening with my eyes. This is a refreshing change from «read the third line» and «better or worse». He has a gift for making you feel like you matter and you’re getting a quality examination.
I left with two prescriptions, one for driving (hey, I’m getting older and it’s a neat idea). The other for close in work on the computers.
The location is great and everything is just state of the art. I’m glad I didn’t have to have my eyes dilated this time, but I really appreciate the thorough examination and comprehensive, professional approach to vision care.
