Fresh ingredients, meat thinly sliced to order, and a good variety. It’s a few paces ahead of their competition. The best thing going for them is their customer service. Always engaging, friendly, and prompt.

My 4 year old’s review: That food, is fast food, it’s healthy food. It’s really good, I really like it. It makes really good food, I really like it. And that’s it.

Ok, they’re a little more spendy than Subway but the quality of the food is fresh and delicious and shadows so many others. I’m surprised I haven’t heard of this place sooner. Also the staff are wonderful people persons which makes it so much more enjoyable spending my money.

I’m giving Jersey Mike’s five stars for the their hot subs, particularly the Big Kahuna Chicken Cheese Steak. It is by far the best Philly style cheese steak I have had in the Twin Cities and I think it can even compete with the Philly Cheese Steaks you get in Philly! It’s got great cheese, a nice bit of kick with the jalapeño peppers, good mushrooms and peppers and good bread along with chicken that is thinly sliced, chopped and tender. In addition, I’ve always had great service there and have appreciated the work of the grill person as they have to work a bit harder on the Philly cheese steaks than on a regular sub.

I’m not sure when they opened this location, but I’m sure glad they did! I’ve been coming here for a few years now, can’t believe I haven’t reviewed it yet. Out of all the chain sub shops, this is up there in my Top 5. There are only a few Jersey Mike’s scattered about the Metro, and this one is the closest to me. The staff is always friendly, engaging and efficient. They always slice the deli meat fresh for each sandwhich — I love that! The bread and veggies always taste fresh and the sandwhiches are assembled well so they don’t fall apart the second you take your first bite. Cold subs: My favorite is their Original Italian sandwich, on white. The regular size is quite large, sometimes I find myself ordering the mini. Another good one is the American Classic(Ham and Provolone), and the Turkey Breast and Provolone. On the Hot Subs menu, the Chipotle Cheese Steak is very good too. Cheesy, meaty and spicy. I don’t get mine Mike’s Way because I don’t eat raw onions, but I love the rest of the ingredients. The oil and vinegar is yummy, and so is the Italian seasoning they sprinkle on. Also love the Mrs. Vickies Salt and Vinegar chips, I get them every time. Get the Shore Points card, for each visit you earn points and I got a free mini sub when I accrued enough points. It was great!

They do it right at Jersey Mike’s every time. I love the consistency and great sandwiches(and the staff) is what keeps me coming back. And trust me, I know what I’m talking about… I’m from Jersey! See you again soon.

This is how you do subs if you are going to go to a chain sub place. I work nearby and am always sure that a trip to Jersey Mike’s for lunch will be a home run choice. There is not a bad sandwich on the menu. If cold subs are your thing, I’d recommend the American Classic or the Club Supreme. If hot subs are your thing, any of the cheesesteak options are great. Personally, I love the chipotle philly. This particular Jersey Mike’s gets really busy around noon-1 pm yet the line never seems to last too long. If you don’t arrive until the rush is in full swing, you may have to wait a few minutes for a seat to open up. I’ve never had an issue, but I always make sure to show up either at the beginning or the end of the rush. I can’t recommend Jersey Mike’s enough. Places like Subway and Erbert’s & Gerbert’s may be a little cheaper, but quality-wise it is no competition.

I was first introduced to this sandwich place in Woodbury and was ecstatic when I found a closer restaurant from my house in St Paul. Great Italian sub sandwich! Bread is great with all the fixings. A little on the expensive side for a sub, but it’s a good treat once in a while.

Buffalo chicken wrap was just ok, chicken was rather rubbery. Rest of the family liked their subs, but nothing special. Prices seemed high across the board, looking at $ 10 per person average if they get a sub and a drink.

Awesome Subs and wraps! New favorite lunch place. Healthy, cheap, fast, and yummy. Was new to this work area now that my boyfriend and I both work near here, taking a wrap for him so we can just meet for lunch here from now on.

OK I’m not a fan of subs, but I can see why sandwich sub lovers would like this place, let me cut it to you: Thumbs up: –friendly staff, good c.s. –pretty fast service considering they cut their meat fresh –they slice their deli meat fresh, ’nuff said –variety Thumbs down: –not much for vegetarians like me –sad veggie wrap, not much veggies in them I wouldn’t go back because I don’t like the product they offer, but I would recommend to a friend who appreciates subs.

I’m a huge fan of Jersey Mike’s everywhere! So much that my family gets me gift cards for holidays and birthdays, and until today… I’ve never met a Jersey Mike I didn’t love! This location was the polar opposite of everything great about Jersey Mike’s. There was no friendly greeting, they were slow, the staff was arguing with each other… it was just a mess. I’d give them 1 start, but the food was still okay… just okay though, not as great as I’m used to from other locations!

My hubby and kids tried this place out for the first time last night! We wanted to try a few differant subs so we got the Reuben, Philly, and a cold one! We figured we would share them between the 5 of us. First the lady who took our order made a rude comment about ordering 3 giant subs. Whatever, I let it slide. The subs were good I liked the Philly the best so did my hubby. The thousand island on Reuben was a little to sour for our taste. The cold one was better then subway but equal to jimmy johns. Here’s my problem with Jersey Mikes. My husband has a M.S.G sensitivity. So we avoid that additive or he gets very very sick. It didn’t occur to use to ask or check their website since its«just subs». Well my husband woke up in the middle of the night with a severe migrane and feeling like crap. So we checked the nutrition info online, Turns out Mikes uses M.S.G in most of their subs. WHY? It’s a flavor enhancer ! So many people have this sensitivity. Why add it to food? It’s not nessasary if your food is actually good! We will never go back. Quality places should not have to use M.S.G if they actually have good food.

This place is amazing. The meat always tastes fresh and they slice it right in front of you. The bread is always fresh as well. The Italian sandwich(#13) is really really good — I highly recommend it! Plus the regular size somehow comes in at under 700 calories, which is an incredibly pleasant surprise considering how much food it feels like. Also, it’s nice to go to any place where the staff goes out of their way to chat and make you feel like you’re welcome. I think I’m going to go there for lunch tomorrow…

After looking at my previous post… I have to give Jersey Mike’s another star for their hot subs. While not a huge fan of the cold ones, the big kahuna with chipotle mayo is a winner. I stand by the hot and cold should be on equal levels, but maybe I just shouldn’t have gotten it Mike’s way… I don’t know. Maybe I was being way to harsh on Mike’s way. Who’s to say? Anyway. the Big Kahuna… I always get it with the steak, but I have a niggling hunch that chicken would also be fantastic. The way the provolone melts inside of the sandwich and onto the foil is drooltastic. so much so that I literally eat like a cave man and suck the foil clean. There. I said it. Don’t pretend like you don’t, too. If you are looking for healthy options, this one is not it. The sandwich comes with extra provolone and mayo and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t dare try the other sandwiches because I revere this one so much. Although I don’t mean to bash the cold subs. Like other reviewers said, the meat is cut fresh, the veggies seem to be relatively stocked and fresh, and everything is made to order right there. It has a different taste than jimmy johns or subway, and for that alone I think you should give Jersey Mike’s a shot!

Better Bread … Better Subs Yes I know that’s a competitor’s tagline, but it fits here a lot better than it fits there. Yes, I know its just another sandwich place … yippie. But there a couple key things to like here. Bread — A crunchy exterior and none of that«wonder bread» flavor. Meat — is sliced fresh when they make your sub. Not only that, they have a cheese steak here that is actually cooked on a griddle(not microwaved). Its a buck or two more here but I think its worth it.

Solid sandwich bet in the Roseville/St Anthony area. I like fresh italian cuts with lots of veggies and heavy on the red wine vinegar. Great sub. The parking lot always seems to be a bit choatic, but its worth it to me. They do have a iphone app to track your rewards points. Kids get a free sub on Sundays. Ability to order online as well.

With Subway, Cousin’s, Jimmy Johns, Quiznos and Erbert and Gerberts all within a tolerable distance from my work, this is the first place I want to go for lunch. For the cold sandwiches, they cut the meat and cheese right in front of you. All the hot sandwiches are made to order. I’ve had the turkey and provolone Mike’s Way and it was delicious, but my standby is definitely #43, the Chipotle Cheesesteak. Melty cheese, perfectly fried onions and peppers, and juicy delicious beef all come together well with a kick of chipotle mayo at the end. Plenty of sandwich, but not too overloaded(who wants cheesesteak all over their arm?) and really well balanced. Adding to a wonderful sub experience is the friendly staff. Everyone seems to want to get to know you, and the manager/owner always seems to be around. You can definitely tell he and his employees care about the place. The only hangup is it’s too small. The freshly prepared hot subs take a bit longer than the cold subs, so you usually end up waiting a minute(which is totally worth it), but there’s really not a good place to wait. Over the lunch hour, tables are full but turn over quickly; I’ve never had to wait for one. I’m hoping they’ll expand here before too long. My coworkers and I have no problem getting in and out in under an hour over our lunch. If you’re in a rush, you can preorder online, which I’ve done once and it worked really great to get my hot sub quickly.

I honestly can say this establishment deserves a 5 star rating. I’ve been here 3 times now. The crew working always greets you with a smile, are in a good mood, make you feel welcome and can offer sugestions. The meats and cheeses are cut right in front of you on a meat slicer, the bread is amazing(i used to think jimmy johns had the best sub bread until i tried this place!) Eating areas are clean and well attended to-Take the drive to St. Anthony and give this place a whirl-blows any other fast order sub out of the water!
