Del Taco

2x in 2 weeks I haven’t received all of my order or the correct order through the drive-​thru.

WORST SERVICE!!! I’ve had bad service before from this location and stopped going to it for a few years. I’d figured by now things would’ve changed for the better. It hasn’t happened yet. I’d gone through the drive thru and ordered. My order was never repeated to me, I was only told my total. Then pulled up to the window and paid $ 18+ for almost nothing in the way of food. When waiting for my food I was looking at the receipt and saw my order was incorrect. I’d brought this up to the cashier and said I’d rather have my money back instead of what I’d wanted, because I just spent over 18 bucks for them to mess up and I didn’t feel like paying the difference. This took me 4 times of repeating to get the refund. As I went to leave I asked if there was a survey that I could do since apparently they can’t listen to customers very well. I got an attitude while she told me yeah, rolled her eyes and said go a head and do the survey, with a snotty voice. As I started home I realized I didn’t even want the food anymore and went to return it instead. Erika (snotty attitude girl) gave me the return and an attitude again. I wouldn’t come back to this Del Taco if they paid me to. I’m impressed it’s even still open with the half wit, attitude giving, non listening employees that work there! Wish you could give a place a zero star or negative star number. I’d say this one would get –2.

I was here at 11:45 pm tonight. As an drove up I saw through the window that there was a female employee with long hair (not in a ponytail) sitting on the counter on her phone. I didn’t think too much of it and ordered our food. I pulled up to the window and watched the same girl jump down off the counter and walk back into the food prep area. She was tossing her head around lauging, hair swinging everywhere. Then she ran her hands through her hair and immediately walked over and put her bare hands into the shredded cheese to make our chili cheese fries. SO MANY HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS! Not to mention the straight ick factor. I told the manager and he made fresh food and said that he was sending her home. I’m pretty sure she just got sent out of sight until I left.

I usually don’t Unilocal comment on chains since they get so much business anyhow and also I don’t leave really awful comments unless everything from the service all the way to the food is bad… and this time it was. If you’re upset to be working on Christmas eve. then get a different job and don’t treat all of your customers rudely. These were the worst batch of fries I’ve gotten anywhere. they looked like and tasted like they scooped it out of the garbage can or they were simply too lazy to put a new batch in the fryer and decided to heat lamp the batch from the night before. I’ve gotten nothing but awesome food and service at all Del Taco locations for the lady at least almost 40 years of going to them. No matter how hungry I am u won’t be coming to this one ever again.

Ordered egg, and cheese breakfast burritos. No cheese, and eggs were over cooked, or had been left under a heat lamp, and were unedible. Horrible. Will never eat at Del Taco again!

I’m so tired of this place. I’m not sure what kind of degenerate is running this place, but it has disappointed me for the last time. I just went through the drive through for the last time. I ordered deluxe chili cheese fries with no onions (and got onions), fries, chicken spicy jack quesadilla, and 3 chicken hard tacos. I can’t believe after I specifically asked for no onions on the chili cheese fries, the idiots gave me chili cheese fries with onions. Also… the quesadilla seemed like it was cooked 4 hours ago and left out to cool down… this isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience here, but it’s the first time I have felt the need to finally leave bad feedback… I’ll never go back to this del taco again… and I hope no one else does… horrible!
Seriously… I’ve never written such a negative review on any restaurant… this is, hands down, the worst del taco I have ever experienced! I’ve had good del taco the next morning and it tasted great! I just went here minutes ago and my meal tasted like it was 3 days old and sitting out on a counter top! Horrible! You should be ashamed of yourselves! I mean… how can you ruin such a simple and wonderful thing? Ugh!

Usually have their epic burritos. But this time it was more like an epic fail all ingredients seem like they were from last night. Unlike other times when everything is fresh. I wasn’t sure whether asking for my money so I just ate it F it I was hungry.

I’m so disappointed!!! It says they offer ground turkey tacos on the menu, but they’ve supposedly have been out of turkey for the last week everyday after 12:00 am. At least that’s what the guy with the greenish blue hair working the drive-​thru says, but I think they just don’t want to make it at night. I won’t be back… Rather go to Carl’s Jr across the street… They have green burrito menu too!

On the days I need my greasy faux mexican fix, this will do. Its cheap & the drive thru is the best part if one of the kids are napping & I limited options.
You can’t beat a 79 cents bean & cheese buttito. Its the perfect size for a snack or for a kids main meal item. I like the green sauce and my 3.5 year old like the red. He said the green is «too spicy» but I think it gives more flavour.
Their nacho cheese sauce separated on me but I think it had to do with beans on the salsa verde nachos. (From the buck menu) I think I could pass from ordering these again. Especially when I saw a mini bacon quesadilla as I was pulling away!
All in all not a bad deal if you’re on the go & can spare the carbs. :)

I just left the drive thru at this location… the cashier forgot my drink… and my quesadilla was not even cooked.

Be careful here they will not only screw up your order in the drive thru but they’ll mess it up in the dining area also.

This is a pretty decent Del Taco location. They are generous with their portions as well as sides and sauces. The drive thru is pretty fast usually, even during rush hour. The employees are nice, they apologize if there was a long wait, which is hardly ever. I prefer to come here over some of the other locations that are just as close, if not closer, to my house. It’s worth the extra few minutes of driving :)

I found some coupons in the mail, so I decided it was time to visit my local Del Taco. In general, I’m a big fan of Del Taco, but this one is lacking. There was no one manning the front, so I had to wait a few minutes.
I ordered just a few items to-​go, but that took a while to get as well.
I usually get the double del burger, which was a disappointment. I also got 2 chicken burritos which were fine, but the star was the crinkled fries. Who can resist a good fry?

This chain used to be one of my favorites but it is clear that they are downgrading their products to keep prices low.
The taco shells are thinner and less consistent than just three months ago. The cheese is grated differently and less is put on the tacos. Oh, and they charge for jalapeños! It’s a «Mexican» fast food venue! That’s like McDonald’s charging for ketchup!
Anyway, I won’t be visiting this chain and location as much as I used to.

This 24 hour drive thru sits on Knott and Katella where Cypress and Stanton meet in a newly facelifted strip mall. The dine in area closes at 11:00pm, drive thru never closes.
The drive thru is bizarro. I dont memorize their menu, so I need a little help and without my mutant vision power its hard for the me and my and passenger to make their choice before we order. See, the menu is off in front of the little speaker system, so one has to squint to see what their options are. All I know is, I love the crinkle fries extra crispy and cherry coke.
I tend to only eat a few things here. The regular tacos which are stuffed with ground beef, lettuce, cheese and diced tomatoes and ask for mild packets. The burger combo with crinkle fries and cherry coke. The burger is topped with shredded lettuce, onions, tomatoe and sauce. I usually ask for it plain or dissect it when I got home and peel off the yucky stuff.
The beast of mine flocks towards the burritos or fish tacos and washes it down with a water or tea. I usually get scolded from him for ordering a cherry coke, since he tries to advoid soda.
For desert they offer little fried carmael cheesecake things. A pack of 2 is plenty.
For being tight on cash, late at night, or craving tacos this is A okay. However, the 2 of us usually pay about $ 18.00 to successfully feed us both. If you stick to the .59 cent tacos. You will save your cash.

Let’s start with I usually just get the tacos, nothing to write home about but always dependable. The French Fries. Well there French fries can’t mess those up. The cherry coke it’s the bomb. It has been years since I have bought the classic double Dell cheese burger. Wow how disappointing what happened to the beef. The two patties are So small you need a magnifying glass tho find them. Lots of lettuce.
So for you vegetarians here you go the perfect burger you don’t even have to tell them to hold the beef because you won’t find it even if you try. There is more beef in your tacos then the burger how sad. you should be ashamed to even have it on the menu what’s even worse is the cost of the meal. 6 bucks and some change.

Same ol’ Same ol’…Del Taco is a good «go to» place for fast food lunches.

I had the worst breakfast sausage burrito and lukewarm coffee from this place. And, the guy taking the order at 7:30am was half asleep.
Go get you quick fix somewhere else.

The food is fresh. Takes awhile to get it, but that’s ok. Because it is good.
They changed to a dispenser for the hot sauce. I don’t know if I like that. You know, Ebola days in which we live in. I see kids sticking there fingers in the spout to taste the sauce if it is too hot or if they like it.
Two stars because the food is fresh, but I asked twice for a cup. But I never got one. Come on it is 10:15. It is not that busy.
