It’s $ 1 a slice pizza… you get what you pay for. They are open late & are a good late night stop. They also offer a fast delivery(for $ 2) which is always a plus late at night or whenever its cold out. The pizza has a sweet sauce and can be tasty if you’re super hungry. if you leave leftovers — don’t leave them sitting around in your apartment for long, after an hour or so they have a similar smell to stinky feet.

Look, its not fancy pizza, but it is only a dollar. Last time I checked McDonalds doesn’t even have a dollar menu. Also, if you have a fresh pie made when it isn’t busy, you won’t be disappointed. Also, the owner is a really great guy. I’ve seen him give free pizza to people who couldn’t afford to eat. The ranch is always free! Also it can be quite entertaining to people watch the swarms of hungry drunks around halloween or State Patty’s day.

First we got the wrong item. Cheese sticks instead of pizza. Then we finally get it, all the cheese fell off. Sick place! I had a great time.

If youre stumbling drunk around PSU at 1AM and only have $ 2 in your pocket, youre in luck! It’s a $ 1 a slice all night long! This is some of the best pizza you can get for as cheap as it is. It’s like a poor mans Faccia Luna Pizzeria only with better hours. They serve pizza by the slice and whole pizzas, theyre really good if youre drunk and still pretty good the next morning sober. It’s def a good pizza at any price and a great pizza given how cheap it is. ANDTHEYDELIVER!!!

This place has gone down hill. We normally always grab pizza here When in town. It’s usually awesome and we crave it. Went last weekend and they messed up the order to the point we left with not what we ordered. Then we get back and everything is undercooked. The pizza rolls had raw dough. The bread sticks were cooked but the first put cinnamon on them and then the Parmesan? They dough was thick and nothing like marinara was in the box. The pizza was undercooked too. Hope it was a bad night but we threw it all away.

I have to give this place 5 stars because we have all sat on those benches at 2am eating a slice of pizza like a rabid animal. It’s a state college staple. It’s cheap. It’s fast. The pizza is actually pretty good. I don’t like that the girls have to dress like hookers, but food wise… it’s the perfect location and the perfect price for a fun night out.

I really like the pizza from this place. It’s affordable, and it’s delicious. My personal favorites are the chicken bacon ranch and the buffalo chicken pizza. They do some fantastic deals like combinations of orders and throwing in a cheese pizza for $ 5. They’re my top go-to pizza joint for delivery.

Literally thought the pizza was gonna be crap here… i mean cmon a buck a slice? There’s gotta be a catch right? Small slice? Crappy taste? Nah…bomb as F. I wasnt even drunk. The slices are HUGE and had hella cheese. Mad worth it. Btw if u get the Xtra large its 8 bux for 8 slices which is exact same as a dollar a slice… but i dunno if the slices are bigger cuz u got a whole pie so if u got 8 ppl anyway might as well jus get the whole thing instead of gettin 8 separate slices and risk smaller slices i guess… Ill be back just for the dollar slice.

Came here when we were sober and it wasn’t too bad. The cheese pizza was a dollar and they have some other good deals. The cheese pizza was a little small(compared to NYC pizza slices) but had a good amount of cheese on it. Overall a good quick bite or great place to go when drunk. They are open super duper late

Can’t say much about their delivery, used 2 times, both times were slow and pizza wasn’t hot. I do however live 5 miles away, which in the metropolis that is State College, might as well be Philadelphia. However, when eating there, or picking up, it’s hard to beat. Above average quality, ridiculously cheap prices. $ 8 for an extra large pie, and their $ 4 special(any 2 slices, 2 breadsticks or a pepperoni roll and a 20oz fountain drink) is unbeatable, and they offer free dipping sauces, pizza sauce, hot sauce and ranch. Not a family establishment, only about 8 seats inside and picnic table seating outside, but when on the go, or in need of a quick meal, it’s a great place to stop. Quick, reliable service, open late and consistent quality are hard to find in a pizza joint, especially in a college town, and Canyon serves up hot, speedy, consistent slices day after day, would totally recommend.

Dude, so good! It’s cheap and amazing! It’s known as a drunk food paradise for sure, but I was 100% sober and still so good! Get the cheese slices. You can’t be the deals there.

For a $ 1 slice it is not bad at all. People give canyon a bad rap all the time. «Oh, my stomach hurts». I think it has more to do with the stuff you put in your stomach before you got the $ 1 slice. I think the slices are actually pretty good. Don’t get me wrong not the best pizza in the world. However, they will fill you and don’t hurt your stomach. The big pizzas are 8 dollars and are way worth it. You will not get a better deal in State College.

After getting off the phone and realizing their deceptive manner in creating a mythical«extra large» pizza(which is just a large at any normal pizza place), I waited upwards of an hour for the pizza to arrive. Once it did arrive, I wished it hadn’t. The pizza was highly resemblant of what you would find folded in the dark lords buttcrack. The pizza itself tasted like bodily fluids and you could honestly clear your palate with battery acid if you wished after eating it. This business would be better off serving ellios pizza, frozen. Starving children in Africa would reject this sub-par compressed garbage. Unless you truly hate yourself, do not give Canyon Pizza the respect that even a German World War II dictator deserves.

How would you feel waiting in line for 30 minutes for pizza around 1:30 in the morning. Yes Canyon is the go to pizza joint in State College. Dollar slices… and Mega 20 inch pies for around 8 bucks. They are dirt cheap. They also have a really cheap two slice special with drink. Does the pizza taste good? No, but when you are blacked out and hankering for pizza this is the place. You may even meet your next college sweetheart waiting in line.

Okay, here’s the deal, if you are looking for high quality«shi-shi» pizza places, Canyon ISNT for you. If you want awesome tasting pizza for an awesome price, you can’t beat Canyon Pizza. Canyon has an extremely varied Pizza menu ranging from Cheese, to Everything. Their prices are some of the cheapest in State College, and their service is excellent. The jewel is their 4 Dollar Pizza Deal. 2 slices… ANY Slices, 2 breadsticks, OR a Pepperoni Stix, and a 32 Oz. Fountain Soda. Where else can you get a meal like that for that price? Some negatives… VERY limited seating. Very limited parking. Street only. Sometimes it can get crowded, but they do their best to keep the line moving. All in all, a great Penn State tradition!

After a night of visiting different bars around State College, we were hungry for some pizza. We tried a few places, but they were closed. Then we found Canyon Pizza. Canyon Pizza offered $ 1 slices, but we bought a pie to go. We ordered a steak pizza and even before we had paid, the pizza was being put in the oven. In about 7 minutes and for $ 8, we walked away with a pizza. For the price and the speed, it was fantastic. It wasn’t gourmet pizza, but for a cheap snack after the bars, this place can’t be beat.

Love it for what it is. Let me set some expectations out there for you to absorb: Cardboard pizza is not take out or any sense of other quality pie. Sorry. You know what, sorry I’m not sorry. You’re paying almost nothing for this pie, it shouldn’t taste great. Good smothered in extra sauce or ranch dressing? Yes. By itself, no flippin way. There is always a line when you really want Canyon. Fact. Embrace both the line, and the quickness at which you’ll navigate the line. Suck it up, your pizza will be digesting soon enough. Appropriate expectations and motivation will ensure a great visit.
