I love this place. The food is good, the calzones are the perfect size, and the service is quick. Delivery isn’t the quickest but I think that’s because it’s popular. This place was my favorite to go to when I needed a late night meal. Never too crowded and the people there are really nice. One time they messed up my order and they were really easy and understanding and the delivery guy came back with a new cslzone quick.

Fast, cheap and tasty calzones, with a large variety of menu options. Arguably the best of the best when it comes to drunk food. Delivery is quick and you get what you expect. The calzones are not quite as large as in other places, but are a filling enough meal for one person. Avoid the tots though– they’re pretty gross. The cheese sticks are also weird. Pros: Lots of choices They’re all good Fast delivery Satisfying Cheap Cons: Tots are bad Cheese sticks taste weird

He is the saviour when you are drunk… I just love this place… They know how to make you drool. Highly recommended if you are in State College. Love DP Dough.

I Came to DP dough when i visited my brother at Penn State. Late night there was a pretty decent sized crowd. The wait was pretty short and the food was pretty good. They have a ton of selections so you will definitely find something you like. Great place to go after the bars.

The calzones are alright. They charge you for absolutely everything and they really skimp you out on everything but that actual bread. The manager at this location is also rude, and doesn’t seem to care much about the customers satisfaction

Okay, so this place is great for after a night of drinking. I’ve had it then and also sober. There is a difference. I’ve tried several calzones from here over the years, but my favorite was the bacon Mac and cheese and roni and shrooms. The dough really isn’t that good at all. Since this place is more of a «drunk food» place, I guess it doesn’t matter much. But, the fillings were always great. They make the calzones pretty fast, too. It’s a state college staple, but was not my favorite place by any means.

Took me too long to try this place. A huge selection of calzone and many vegetarian options too. Firstly, the calzone was good. Good amount of cheese and toppings. Most, importantly, it was not too doughy. I was glad that the amount of dough to toppings was well balanced. Great late night food.

They’re supposed to close at 2 am and stopped fling orders at 1:48! A.M. Sorry but that doesn’t fly in my book especially when I look forward to getting a calzone.

Customization in a calzone — nice, easy, get exactly what you pay for. Above average taste and size for the $$, just stay away from the sides. Felt totally ripped on my Tots with cheese. $ 4 for 16 tots and some not really cheese cheese sauce was totally dissapointing.

So many delicious options to choose from when you order. I suggest the chicken and bacon calzone :) DP Dough is always pristine! You can tell they pride themselves on being sanitary/clean. When calling for delivery, is it always delivered fast and still hot. No complaints here!

It is a very cozy place, it is small, and clean. As soon as I entered the place I felt the sweet/yummy smell of the mozzarella cheese. If you like crunchy stuff, the best option is a calzone in this place. They are really tasty. I would add a little bit more of chicken because it was a «parmesan chicken calzone». I definitely will come back, I will bring my family and I will make them eat a calzone. The sauce on a side has a sweet taste that I loved, but I can tell is not real, but, anyways, you can always take your calzone to go and prepare your own sauce at home. Best calzone ever!

Cool concept. They have a bunch of diff calzones but some of them are very similar to each other. Beyond that, the calzone was just ok. It was definitely cheesy but not saucy enough. I also ran out of marinara sauce halfway between the 2nd half of the calzone. Decent price for 6 bux tho. Only thing that could beat that is a subway sandwich or sumthin…

I literally just got take out and my calzone wasn’t cooked the whole way through(the cheese wasn’t even melted) and the chicken in it tastes like high school chicken patty meat. The service wasn’t very friendly either. So disappointed :(

Decent drunk food when you’re hungover. Lines can be long during Thursday thru Saturday nights.

Its all about the calzone. We got 3 different calzones: mac & cheese, bbq and chicken parm. They were good, but not amazing. I liked the sauce for dipping. The servers were not the friendliest. For us, the service was acceptable. It just felt like we were treated like a cog on a wheel. The price point was acceptable. If I had a craving for a calzone and I was in State College, this is the place I would go.

I hate giving reviews based on service, cause all in all it should be about the food right? But anyways, this place has amazing calzones. They just are kinda disorganized. Messed up my order with spinach and buff chicken calzones. Never got the buff chicken one, was REALLY looking forward to it. But I get it, they’re dealing with drunk college kids all night, so I’ll let that go. Plus I think they thought I was another drunk college kid with the way they were towards me(SORUDE) but noooo I was just an older sibling visiting. Would’ve given ¾ cause really it was good. Maybe next time…

The quickest option on any night at Penn State. Satisfies all munchies and leaves you full in the morning! Buffer zone is better than Chicken Parmezone, no doubt.

The worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life. Ordered delivery and the ‘manager’ was rude and when I tried to cancel three minutes later he said order was being delivered already when he initially said it was going to take 45 minutes. He cursed, lied, and probably also charged my credit card which I have to now handle. When I asked for his name he refused to give it to me. I may have called at a busy time but that is never an excuse to be treated that way.

The calzone itself isn’t the problem. The slow inconsiderate service is the problem. I’ve ordered from here four times, and each time they take over an hour to get to me, l despite the fact that I live a 5 minute drive from the store. Also because they insist on putting the ice cold sodas in the bag with the ‘zone, then stacking the bags on top of each other, each calzone gets its only little mini fridge from sodas on top and on bottom. Thus, they arrive stone cold, the cheese so cold its solid. I then end up having to nuke it which kills the crust texture. They also always ignore our request to ring the doorbell and so we don’t always hear them knock(it’s a two story unit we live in) then they have the gall to berate us for their inability to clearly read the order. I will try ONE more time on a non-football weekend and if its the same kind of service, I’ll look elsewhere for my home pizza fix.

I’m a Texan in town for the Penn State recruitment fair. I wanted an easy, delivery dinner after a long day that still allowed for a taste of the local food. The price was reasonable and the service was fine. However, the guy dropped it off(after I’d already given a nice tip via credit cars) and he forgot part of the order. I think he almost expected me to tell him to forget about it, but I let him bring me back the remaining part that I already paid for. By the time he returned, the rest of my food was cold. It did all taste fine and was larger than I expected though. I was both pleasantly surprised and disappointed by my calzone. I got on that had ranch inside and, being a huge ranch junkie, I ordered an extra ranch on the side as well. However, it was pointless to order the side ranch bc there was definitely enough inside. The disappointment comes w/the other side. The calzone I ordered was supposed to come w/a side of marinara, but that never got to me. The calzone was decent as is, but the marinara on the side would’ve made such a substantial difference that I wasn’t able to finish it without it to balance out the flavors.
