For some reason the one on amboy costs more than the one on Travis. And it’s hard to find a current menu, prices n amount of items seem to change.

For some odd reason I like the chicken this place makes. And the fried vegetable sampler. But that’s it. They seriously need to renovate the place. It’s dingy and dark from 20 years worth of grease. And seriously? Get rid of the chicken roaster that has been sitting empty for the past 20 years. That fad faded long ago. Also they are cheap. You have to ask for condiments, napkins, plates and all that crap over and over. There was once 4 or 5 of these places, and this is the last one. Go there and you will know why.

We are craving for some fried chickens on this hot summer day, and chicken holiday did not disappointment us! This time we ordered the family order again(8 pieces of chicken, french fries, cold slaw) plus 12 dinner rolls. Chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The fries was half seasoned and half classic. My first time ordering the dinner rolls, and def goes well with the chicken.

Chicken and Rib meal is awesome… a little over priced but still good. Fast and great quality!

Owner run, really friendly, and for the 9 years I lived in the neighborhood, this would be my go to place for chicken no matter what. The owner saw me grow from a gross 5th grader to the more mature(but still a kid at heart) 18-year old that I turned into, and he remembered me every time I came back even though we only came every other month. Prices are great, service is friendly, and the chicken is good too(: After moving, it’s kinda sad to not be able to order from here anymore but at least I found a good chicken place near my new Brooklyn apartment too: P
