From the bread, to the entrees, to the dessert; everything was beyond excellent. The staff was more than welcoming and made my boyfriend and I feel like we were at home. Even the owner held the door open for us as we were leaving and made sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be returning and definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone!

We took out dinner tonight instead of cooking, ordered the chicken franchise and a side of penne al la vodka, it was outrageous, good portions and very good. Eh, I really heard great things about Giulana’s but was sadly disappointed. I ordered the shrimp oreganato, which was plain shrimp with unseasoned breadcrumbs placed on top with a drizzle of balsamic? Something sweet? Besides that there was no flavor. It came with spaghetti which was completely dry. My husband got a sausage pie. He said it was okay. We also came late at night one night so I’m not sure if the chef wasn’t there and someone was filling in. With the cost of the shrimp oregnata, I wouldn’t give it a second shot to find out :-(

Good was excellent. Had the veal caprichosa. Service was great. Didn’t like the seating in the extension. It was 9 degrees outside and you could feel the chill and wind. The restaurant was packed which reflects the great food. Not appreciative of the cold where I was seated.

This is my favorite restaurant on SI! I come from Manhattan to meet up with people for dinner. I love the food, wine and service. Our servers are always friendly and make thoughtful recommendations. If you want to try this place out, I highly recommend going Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for their pre-fixe menu. An appetizer, entrée and dessert for $ 20pp. I usually steer clear of pre fixes, but here, the food quality and portions aren’t compromised. I’ve had delicious soup, pasta, pork chops, veal, ricotta cheese cake, literally everything here was tops. I love this place so much, I recommended it to my in-laws and they loved it, too! Look sophisticated to your in-laws, too, and recommend Guiliana’s for dinner or an event.

Came here as a group of 10 for friends birthday. Most of our first time here. When i arrived 2 of my friends were there and already had gotten there drinks at the bar. We asked to be seated as i had a 2 month old baby with me. We got seated, and i went up to be bar and asked for drink deals, This is when the best thing happened, they have $ 45 open bar which include top shelf with Henny and Black! Out of the 10, 9 of us got the open bar deal. We ordered calamari and couple of other hot appetizers. None of them were really that great to write about. I got the T bone steak as the main course. medium rare, It was no doubt the best stake I had in SI. It was cooked perfect, they also had this pepper corn sauce, which was lil too much, but I was easily able to move it to the side with the knife. I spoke to the waiter about it and they said next time you can just ask for it on the side. 3 others also order the steak and they all loved it. My wife had one of the chicken order she said it was good. One person had Salmon which she said that was good as well… By the time the dinner was done, most of us were drunk and had no much food left over. I will def come back to this place for the Steak and $ 45 open bar. If you wanted to have a small get together for someone’s bday in SI, this is the best spot for that I been to as of now.

Attended a party here. They sat us in the back room. Every single dish was delicious from appetizers to dessert. The service was also good. The only problem was the kid doing valet. He was nowhere to be found when we pulled up and I had to park myself. I would definitely eat here again.

Guiliana’s is a great restaurant. The staff is friendly and patient. I would recommend going there for dinner. They also have specials which you get a lot of delicious food for your money. I have gone here numerous times for birthday dinners and everyone that I go with loves the food and atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a night out.

Today was the first time I ever ate here, and I’ll definitely be coming back! Started with the Octopus appetizer and it was very fresh and cooked perfectly. Then I had the Salmon it was also fresh and served with perfectly seasoned veggies. I finished with the flourless chocolate lava cake it was simply amazing! It was accompanied with vanilla ice cream, but I’m a chocolate lover so I had mine with chocolate instead. Ice cream they served with was premium quality. All their desserts are in house made which is a plus. The menu is extensive which is another plus. I’ll be back soon!

Do not order the fresh mozzarella and tomato appetizer. the fresh mozzarella is made there and was extremely salty it was very difficult to eat. it did not taste like how it should have I left it in most of it in the dish my husband tasted it and my father and agreed. I ordered one for my daughter as well she would not eat it and I did not force her it was extremely extremely salty not how it should have tasted. kinda nasty. Turn off. For me. something as easy as simple as a fresh mozzarella and tomato a restaurant that is a good standards should be able to provide maybe they need to stop trying to make it on premises and just buy it elsewhere I understand everyone wants to cut cost but at what expense really it wasn’t even drizzled with any olive oil over it. i usually get it at a good quality Italian restaurant this dish that is very simple was not done well here I was very surprised. The chicken my daughter had was fine and the eggplant dish I had even though it seemed very small and flat usually eggplant would be layered it was good. We tried to order the brick oven pizza and they said that they oven needed like 5 hours to heat up or something like that and they cannot serve any pizza at that time because the oven was not hot enough another outrageous thing about this place

Went to Giuliana’s expecting nonchalant service and decent food for a summer afternoon break. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised as the staff extended a warm welcome with great service and food. Affordable menu for families till 3 pm — $ 12.95 for ap, meal, dessert with nice portions. We will definitely spread the word about this hidden gem on Hylan Blvd.

Every positive review I read about this place was right on the money. We had an amazing meal in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The wait staff made us feel like family. One of the pastas was so good we tried making it ourselves! I will definitely be returning to try what else this place has to offer

We had a communion party there today, and I cannot say enough good about the pre-planning experience, execution and service. We had the front room and it was set up perfectly for the size party we had(30), 8 of which were children. The food was excellent, the service was excellent. I have been there for dinner a number of theme and the service has been exemplary, and for a large group the service level was amazing. I would recommend this restaurant for regular dining and for parties.

Walk up to the entrance of this place and have to deal with attitude from the valet kid(doesn’t even look old enough to drive). Gets really hostile because we parked in the lot that’s for the food establishment next door. We thought it was for both food places since the parking lot is huge and there weren’t any signs indicating not to park there. He proceeds to tell the manager on us and the manager responds with attitude as well. If the rest of our party wasn’t already seated with their orders placed we would have walked out. We waited way too long for inferior and rubbery pizza. I don’t understand how it takes hours to make pizza. Let’s face it, it’s just a pizza. The pizza was terrible. They don’t even use prosciutto di Parma, more like thick ham. The sauce and cheese were clearly of low quality. The crust was gummy and damp. The service is incredibly slow and the waiters are not friendly at all. They are mostly absent. The only redeeming quality was the sweet and kind busboy(man). Don’t even get me started on the décor and ambience, dingy and dated. When we left the place the valet child was smoking a cigarette right by the entrance/exit. Really classy. I wouldn’t go back to this place if someone offered me a million dollars. It’s important to treat your paying customers with respect and kindness. For me that is part of the experience at a restaurant. Sometimes the food or décor may not be the greatest but if the service and management make you feel good, you will want to return. There are no redeeming qualities about this restaurant.

Typical staten island place… and that’s not a compliment. 3-thumbs down. Went to this place on a Saturday night a couple summers ago with my girlfriend. on the outside of the place, they advertised that they have«the best brick oven pizza on staten island». so me and my gf go in, we’re the only ones in there. We get menus, and everything on the menu is expensive! More expensive than other places. So I didn’t feel like over spending, so we decided we would just order a pizza, since this place advertised that they have such great staten island brick oven pizza! We were informed that they don’t serve brick oven pizza on weekends after 7pm. I thought this was extremely retarded, and douschey! if your advertising that your brick oven pizza is so great, wtf wouldn’t you serve it on a Saturday night? In fact what place that has brick oven pizza on their menu, only serves it on certain days/times? I’ll tell you why, because they didn’t want our bill to be small and only have a $ 13 brick oven pizza on it, that’s why! They wanted us to both have to buy expensive entrees. So me and my gf wound up walking outta this place, and leaving it empty like it belongs. Unfortunately this is the only place I was smart enough to ever walk out of.

I can’t say enough how wonderful our meal was. The staff was extremely courteous, friendly, and very accommodating. Had the appetizer special crab cake was delish and my meal and my husbands was terrific. My shrimp parm was outstanding. Been here once before and will def go back again.

I have been to Giuliana’s a few times now and what I like is that the food and service is consistent. The menu is basic southern Italian food but the food is tasty. You know what you get will be good. The wine list is nice too. This is the kind of place you can show up to very casually dressed without a reservation and feel comfortable going to dinner. The start you off with their homemade bread fresh out the oven, drizzled in olive oil and Parmesan cheese. For something so simple, it is so good. So again, the menu is basic. Apps are the typical hot antipasti, clams oreganata, fried calamari, salads, etc. Again, anything we have ordered has been delicious but you won’t find anything here adventurous or different. Entrée’s are again what you would expect, a selection of pasta, fish, chicken and beef. They don’t make their desserts there but where ever they get them from, they are delish!
