One of the last Mom & Pop shops on the Lane. Been coming here for the past 15 years. Great coffee, great prices, and super nice couple who own this cute & cozy coffee shop. Screw overpriced Starbucks. Support local businesses!

Only had the chance to go once during my time on SI with the family recently, but my Aunt & Uncle make a point to stop in now vs chain locations. So hidden that 23 year Staten Island residents had difficulty finding it, with limited hours, it is a gem worth tracking down. Tip: look down alley/driveway, and you will see this charming shop. You can’t get more Mom & Pop than a joint run by an elderly couple who look like, well, Mom & Pop! The interior has a country store motif, so very warm and welcoming. Since I don’t drink coffee, my green tea hit the spot. My Aunt enjoyed her latte and my Uncle liked his iced coffee so much he got a second to go. They offer some baked items, though we didn’t try them, not sure of their origin, either. Definitive of «hidden gem.» Though hours are limited IMHO it is a must to try.

Old school espresso run by old school dudes in a secret alleyway way off the street. Totally awesome. Maybe the best thing about Staten Island. Woof.

This hidden gem is perfect if you want the personal service and getaway from the commercial products. It’s owned by the cutest elderly couple, and frankly speaking make the best cup of coffee and Sunday morning conversation. A family oriented coffee spot rich with the living history of the two people who own and work the shop. I am happy I had the chance to experience it.

Almost impossible to find if you aren’t looking for it, but if you do happen to find yourself in front of it, do go inside. The couple that owns/operates gives it a nice, comfortable touch. You don’t feel like you’re in a coffee shop– you feel like you’re sitting in a friend’s kitchen. Very warm atmosphere and friendly people. :)
