Never again.
Came here late in the evening during the week looking for some burgers and fries. Mission accomplished. Requested the burgers well done and some additional condiments. The burgers were average to good and the fries were perfect. Service was also fine. We finished up eating and while waiting for the check… Spotted a very very large rat walking on the floor in the middle of the diner seating area. Jumped up and walked over to register. Paid promptly and left tip for the waitress on way out to her, didn’t return to table. It’s a shame. Decent price. Good food… Scarred for life experience. Not going back.

Came for breakfast. Don’t usually come here because of the limited parking but wanted to try it. Read reviews and saw a lot if comments about the servers that were negative. Ours was fine, once she showed up but when we walked in the door and two more times there was a server cursing about the manager. Very unprofessional. Plenty of refills on the coffee and the home fries were cooked as ordered. The atmosphere is quieter then some of the other diners in the island. Will definitely return.

All of your waitresses are visibly on drugs. I will not enter this place for that reason it’s disgusting your workers nodding out as I’m eating

This place is definitely not the best option at all. The service is okay. It’s what you’d expect at a diner. If you are going to come here for a quick breakfast of eggs and stuff, that’s what this place is good for. However, I wouldn’t order any of the expensive, «exotic» foods. My dad, who never complains about any food, hated the mussels. That just goes to show you that it is a good idea to just stick with basic foods like I said above. You’re better off down hylan Blvd in great kills at Andrews Diner. Also, a lot of times it is never crowded so it kind of feels weird eating there.

Definitely one of the better dinners in Staten Island. Sangria is awesome. Prices are reasonable for si and the staff is mostly nice. Awesome coleslaw.

Disgustly miserable food. The only time I will ever choose to eat from this place is because they are open 24 hours that’s about it. I wouldn’t be caught dead eating here

Just ordered from here & was disappointed. I ordered chicken parm & When I checked the bag to be sure it was right, the food was opened and all over the bag. The food looked & smelled amazing but I couldn’t eat it because it was all over the bag.

We’ve eaten here several times now — me and my lady wind up taking food home every time we go because they give you too much — that’s a good thing! The food is great, the portions are large, their selections are plentiful and the staff is super!

Another greasy spoon. I had a buffalo burger which was fairly well cooked and the fries are just the right amount of greasy. The service is friendly and reasonably speedy.

My friends and I met for breakfast, today Thursday April 23 1015.Service was excellent. always made sure our coffee cup were field, food was very good, they made it to what we can have since we are all on special diets. Everyone is very friendly.

This place is out of control. To start of one of the more horrendous services that I have ever encountered. I can understand Staten Island has a drug problem, but I see no reason to higher waitresses (over night staff) who are CLEARLY drugged out of their minds and who can barley keep their eyes opened. A few waitresses their clearly need help and them playing dumb or stupid is not cute by any means (again, this is directed at the over night staff). On multiple occasions my group had to send back the orders MULTIPUL times and the waitress blamed it on the cooks. Correction, you take the order, it’s your responsibility to make sure you deliver it to the cooks properly. On top of that, when we pointed it out, there was no apology, just a simple «yea, I forgot». Here’s another kicker, the half zombie staff LOVES to charge you for things they forgot to bring out or that you have never even ordered. I also wish this was an isolated incident but this week’s of attempting to let this place redeem itself since it’s convenient and opened all night. Also the food is ⁸⁄₁₀ times horrible, taste like it was reheated a million times and left out to sit.
Only positive thing I can say is the bus boys are very nice and personable and the older man who stays in the front is friendly. Other than that the place is a total waste land.

I order take out from here, they are always ready quickly, food is good, and prices are standard.

Not good. When a diner screws up a simple club sandwich maybe it’s time to close the doors.

In my opinion this is one of the weaker diner’s on staten island.
The food is cheap quality, and they charge $ 2 – 3 more on everything than other diner’s in staten island.
There’s a handful of diner’s I’d much rather go to than this place.

I’ve been eating at Mike’s for many years. I find the food is consistant. The portions are enormous & very well prepared. I find the manager Dimitri to be always friendly & very warm to myself & all the guests which is very important. I wish more places would have a person as nice as he is to make you feel at home. Its a great local place for families to have a nice relaxing meal. They are constantly trying to make a good menu even better and stronger by creating new dishes instead of the same old «safe» dishes, that all their competitors do. Dimitri puts his ideas to the paper & then has his chefs George & Mario make them & have his staff evaluate them to see how they like them. If they are all in agreement & like the dish, Dimitri will put out his idea as a daily special. Keep up the great work !!! I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this great local eatery !!! They go the extra mile to keep the dishes interesting & the patrons returning.

As far as diners go you pretty much can’t beat this place. The food is good and the staff is attentive; I’ve never had to wait too long for my order or had any other problems. I’ve been a regular customer here for a while and wouldn’t even think about switching to another place.

Real disappointment. Food was nasty freezer burned and no flavor ever time we complained the waitress said we usually cater to seniors who can not have salt. The food was definitely not fresh and to top it off hair in the dessert.
Real upset as this place was pretty good when we moved here 2 yrs ago. When asked by hostess how things were I replied «horrible» she replied yea a lot of people are saying that, we have a whole new crew. I guess they should bring back the old crew. It’s a shame as I don’t see this place lasting much longer at this rate. They need Restaurant impossible to come and step in.

Local diner on the main avenue. Always come here super late after a hang out. Pretty good burgers cause thats what I always usually get. I enjoy the fries cause they come a lot with your burger. I love the pickles but not the coleslaw that they give you before your meal but my BF eats every lettuce and its so gross, no kisses for you after haha. The waitress are nice and I always enjoy a nice chocolate shake! Decent prices and theres TV’s and its not as big as the others but theres a private parking lot too.

Pretty decent diner. Service is pretty good. Sweet potatoes fries are great! The buffalo wrap isn’t really chicken cooked in buffalo sauce, it is just added on. There are TVs for those who like to watch while they eat. Try to get a table in the main part of the diner because the part by counter is always cold. The parking lot is kind of tight and small, but diner is always open.
