Ehh. that’s how I feel about this place. Not terrible but I won’t see myself coming out of my way to come here. Food was very average. The nachos were great though! Service took a bit on a Friday night. Oh and don’t bother reserving a table using that feature b/​c they dont even acknowledge that.

Best wings on the island! They are tremendous and so good. Along with regular buffalo, Teriyaki and BBQ are amazing as well. You will not be disappointed.

I know some reviews are so so about this place but I loooove it. That’s right, this is a basic bitch review. As a gluten free lady, I so appreciate a bar having staples like chicken fingers, burgers and mozzarella sticks. They are very diligent about cross contamination. It’s so nice to be able to go to a place and order bar food at the bar. Happy hour is buy one get one and half priced apps (doesn’t include gluten free because those come as meals). It’s about 12 bucks for a burger and 9 bucks for chicken fingers but both include fries and are again, gluten free. This spot is my new jam. Great music on Thursday nights, weezer, nirvana etc. I plan on come back tomorrow for their 3 – 7 happy hr (mon-​thurs is 4 – 7).

I think that when you come to the beer garden, you experience can be affected by your expectations. If before you come here you have on mind the beer gardens of Astoria, or Williamsburg, when everybody is happy, and the hipsters are all around, this is not the case. This is a «if you want come, if you like it stay, if not go away» kind of place. And I can respect that at some level. Different from the NYC bars, that all of them feel the same.
Not the greatest food, not the greatest beer, not the greatest service. Everything was OK. But there is something about this beer garden, for sure not the food, which honestly wasn’t good, but the whole vibe here is something like: Drink. I am really negotiating myself about 2 or 3 stars. And since I just know that they don’t really care, I will go with 3. Since after all, it is a cool place.

The beer garden is a place where you simply feel at home. Multiple televisions and multiple taps will keep you satisfied. Attentive service by staff. Looking for a great deal? Happy Hour embraces the buy one get one philosophy accompanied by ½ price apps. Throw in a $ 5 dollar pizza to boot and who has it better than you?! Safe no nonsense atmosphere accompanied with live entertainment, sports packages and good food. It’s your neighborhood bar that fits any demographic on any day. You won’t be disappointed. I know I wasnt.

A solid sports bar. TVs on every empty wall can satisfy people with even the worst ADHD. I recommend the beer garden burger with spicy fries. Live a little and get the beer sampler, they have a nice selection that’s a treat in of itself (not so many that you’re stuck with uncertainty of choice).

I love this place! The food is yummy and they have great happy hour specials. Have come twice so far with the boyfriend. First time we only ordered drinks and chicken tenders with teriyaki sauce. Second time around we ordered the chicken tenders again, a large pizza (only $ 5), BBQ wings, fries pickle chips, and two beers each. They have great prices as it is and happy hour really isn’t the only way I will come here but it definitely is awesome!
The chicken tenders were amazing and the sauce was yummy too. The wings were fried perfectly the way I like them, I wasn’t too thrilled with the BBQ sauce however. (I usually like my wings without any sauce heh) and the pizza was yummy too but I was too full to eat much of it lol.
Overall awesome and fun place, close to where I live. Already returning tomorrow with friends for another round of happy hour! Haha.

I came here on a saturday and I had a great dining experience. Their were like 6 or more big tvs’ surrounding the dining area so the diners have a choice of seeing a game or something else. The waitress was super sweet and made sure that we was ok. I order a ceasar salad and it was huge for $ 8.50. My friend have penne a vodka with grilled chicken and his plate was huge too. We had to take it home. I would recommend this place.

I will never go here again. Beer is really expensive food is subpar and the bouncer is an ass. Bartenders are pretty good but the bouncer sat outside with his friends drinking but yelled at us when we walked out with a drink to smoke a cigarette. Atmosphere is not enjoyable unless your 19 or friends with the bouncer. Unfortunate because it could’ve been a cool place

This is the worst place ever. I will never go there again. And I will never recommend them to anyone. I was not allowed to bring my cup of water outside to escape the music that was so loud I couldn’t talk to my friends. But beside the bouncer was his two friends with glass cups full of alcohol. My husband was chased out and yelled at for no reason. The beer is twice as expensive as everywhere else and the people are the rudest I have ever meet.

I made it 37 years before going to a bar in Staten Island, if I live another 37 before I do it again, that would be okay. The beer selection was decent, the quesadilla wasn’t bad, and the bartender was very friendly. I could’ve done without all the bikers, but the noise didn’t really bother me all that much. The perogies were black and inedible. Black. I’ve never seen anything like that before. Also, I’m not quite sure why this place is named the Beer Garden since there’s no garden (or outdoor area) to be had. It’s really a dive bar stuck in the middle of a Staten Island strip mall.

The happy hour at The Beer Garden is like no other! Half price appetizers and buy one get one drinks! Even top shelf liquor! What!!!
The food is great, the portions are big and consistent! The service is very friendly but they can get busy and seem to need more help on the floor. Great location and a good amount of parking. Sometimes they have live music on the weekends.

They have really good quesadillas. Also they have a lot to televisions to watch the games. Some nights they have bands. In addition they serve beer flights. It’s a bit dark, but overall a decent locals spot.

One of my favorite places to eat on Staten Island! Wide variety of food. The pizzas are awesome, and creative apps. The sandwiches are my favorite (pastrami and bacon!) beer menu is obviously the gem of the place. Great tradition American food!

Disaster brunch. I felt bad for our waitress who clearly wasn’t prepared to handle 10 tables by herself. The kitchen seemed to have taken the afternoon off and the bartender wasn’t helping much either. Like I said, disaster.

Stopped in here about 2 weeks ago and had lunch. well if you want to call it that. We ordered the Oscar special which was like having beef jerky on a roll and half of it was missing the mozzarella we had a corned beef Reuben once again the corned beef was like jerky. When I brought it to the attention of our server was a very nice boy he said there’s nothing they can do about it because there was no manager so I essentially paid for lunch that I did not eat. I proceeded to email the beer garden till this day nobody has gotten back to me. Great way to run business I guess if you want to go here you have to be a drinker not an eater I will never go back. This place has gone down the tubes.

Great food. I had the wings one time. Huge wings very meaty.
Also the happy hour. Buy one drink get one. Starts at four and ends at seven.
Very friendly service and a great atmosphere.
Mostly older people during the day but gets younger as the night progresses.

Nice little sports bar on Staten Island. Wings, burgers & salads your typical bar food. Directv package to watch any game you want. Home team always on the big screen (Giants/Jets).Nice size crowd. Serving staff on their game always checking in.
