Carnitas sandwich add jalapeños with the cruisers sauce is about as good of a sandwich on the planet. It is a little spicy. But don’t be a wuss and go for it!!! Also the cruiser acai bowl with coconut milk is five star worthy. This place is not a fine dining location but they have a great vibe and something that is unique to the yampa valley.

This place is great. If you’re looking for a nice lunch place, with the best sandwiches in Steamboat, this is it. The staff was very nice and extremely accomodating. And the sandwiches were just the bomb. I ordered the Cali Turkey and it was literally the best turkey sandwich I’ve ever had. All the ingredients were fresh and it really made the sandwich taste amazing. Loved the kind of surfer ambiance they created. Really enjoyed the place. Would highly recommend :)

Love Cruisers! I eat here a few times per week and it’s definitely the best option at the mountain area. They have great toasted subs and also smaller«toasties» which I get if not as hungry and my daughter loves the kiddy sandwiches. Great spot!

Subs are amazing! The smoothies are also amazing! I can’t wait to try different things, especially the Acai bowls. Sad I didn’t find this place sooner!

I love Cruiser’s! The environment is awesome and it’s friendly service even when they are crazy busy. I have had nothing but good food and good customer service here.

We were really hungry for lunch and decided to give a 5 star Unilocal restaurant a try. I ordered the Cali sub because it said it had a pesto mayo and I LOVE pesto. The sub was toasted, plenty of turkey, lots of fresh spinach, avocado, it was great! But there was absolutely no pesto flavor at all! It was just a great turkey sandwich. My husband ordered the philly which he enjoyed, my son the carnitas and he said it was good. My daughter had the meatball sub and said it was really good. All and all you are going to get great fresh subs. My baby son had the acai smoothie which was also delicious!

Someone saved us from eating Jimmy Johns the other day and it was the sandwich delivering angels of Cruzer’s sub shop. I ordered sandwiches for all of my employees and they showed up correct hot and delicious. I took a bite of everyone’s sandwich as is my prerogative as purchaser of said sandwiches and they were all banger. My mind was blown when they got my gluten free, dairy free, ten mods, food problem child’s sandwich right. Cheers to you saviors of delivered sandwiches. Start a philly for me I’ll be calling in a couple.

Very good sandwich. Reminded me of home. I really enjoyed the toasties. We are vegetarian and found enough choice and flexibility with the menu to select. We ate a few toasties as well as the veggie delite sandwich. They also have good smoothies to choose.

Chilling atmosphere with awesome sandwiches. Tortas Carnitas is a solid choice. If you are not that hungry grab a smoothie to go.

This sub shop is really fantastic. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is spot on. You might be skeptical of a surfer themed shop in a ski town, but it works out fine(yes, even the ridiculous hats work in the favor of the place). The reason this a five star review is because the tortas carnitas sandwich was absolutely delicious. I have not tried their other sandwiches but the tortas carnitas was a hit!

Loved finding this little gem in Steamboat. Walked in and felt a surf vibe, which I loved. We ordered the carnitas sandwich, a kid’s PB&J, and an Italian. All sandwiches come toasted(even the PB&J), but there’s an option to have them cold. All three were delicious and perfect for lunch on a hot summer day. The cookies were also delicious! More importantly, we loved chatting with the staff, who were awesome, and the owner for quite some time. One more reason we love Steamboat — people still like to engage in conversation rather than take your order, take your money, and get you out the door. A refreshing change and definitely the perfect place to stop for a quick bite to eat.

The acai bowls are so good, I had to stop by the morning after having one for dinner and get one for breakfast. Raw salad looks delicious, the smoothies are simply good, and the sandwiches made the rest of the group happy. The banana chips are simple and tasty, they make a great car snack.

A solid sandwich shop with a pretty decent selection. The menu isn’t massive, but there is plenty there for pretty much everyone, and they do have gluten-free bread if that’s what you are looking for. The bread was high-quality and perfectly toasted, and the fillings were quite good as well. For the price, you’re probably not going to find a better sandwich in Steamboat!

You would think it would be odd to have a surfer themed sub shop in a ski town right? I don’t disagree, but just like Wendy’s Frosties and french fries, this place seems to be a hit with just about everyone I asked and according to the smiles on the patron’s faces no one is complaining about the lack of strong waves. Subs are all delicious from what I tried and they even have one of my favorite guilty pleasures… acai bowls! If you’ve never tried one, give it a shot here and you won’t be disappointed. The ambiance is laid back, the service is quick, and the food is great. I give it one thumb up with a pinkie extended. Enjoy a great snack after solid day on the mountain. Or just a quick lunch after sleeping in on vacation.
