The Island Bar & Grill

Terrible service. After a lengthily wait our food was served Mine was a decent burger but my husband didn’t get what he ordered. As we discussed it being incorrect in front of our waitress she just walks away. We sat and listened to another customer watching a Tiger game just continually yell out f bombs. No one approached him and asked him to tone down his mouth they just allowed an obviously drunk guy to continue to act out of line. When the waitress finally came back to check we reinterated that we received the wrong meal. She left and came back and said they would remake it to which we declined the offer We finally got the bill and was charged for both the correct and incorrect dinner. Wait again to get that fixed. Not worth the aggravation

First and last time i ever listen to my son. He took me to the Island bar and eatery and my god, the staff was so undertrained and the people that encumber the environment range from someone who «had just got out of bed, to wanna be hick hollister models» as one of my son’s friends described it. The drinks and eats were cheap and fairly good, but the overall environment and atmosphere of people were very uninviting.

The music was awful and way to loud. It over peered the room and just echoed. The nachos weren’t melted, they just sprinkled cheese on top and called it all set. Not to mention the beef was a hamburger broken up (it still has its chunks in the shape of the burger). The beer was warm and flat. The waitress was very nice though.

Service was slow, tables were awkward to sit at and I got really sick after eating the fish and chips.

By far my favorite bar to hang out at on weekends! The staff and food are awesome. Great specials, and the atmosphere can’t be beat! Not to forget beer pong Thursday’s with a chance to win cash, and it doesn’t cost anything to sign up or play!

Cool place, terrible service. The bartender and wait staff stand around alot. Our appetizer took 25 mins to come out. It’s bar food. Not that hard.

Okay, the reason for the piratese is because of the full size pirate statues and the deserted island theme. I was waiting for Johnny Depp to jump out or something.
Enough about the decorations, on with the food and lunch experience.
They have their daily lunch specials and on Monday they have the individual pizza, one topping AND three domestic beers for $ 5.00. I so wanted that but couldn’t as I had to go back to work. So I ordered the french onion soup and half grilled cheese sandwich. The soup was pretty hot and good. Not too many onions but could have had a little more bread. The grilled cheese was good. Perfectly grilled and tasty. Even though I didn’t have the pizza lunch special I did steal a slice from the other person I was there with. He had a special BBQ sauce and sausage and cheese pizza. This was real good.
The waitress was great, always there fast and with a smile. The food was served quickly. The cook even came out and said hey. She also wanted to make sure she was making the pizza the way my buddy wanted.
The bathroom, eww, tinkle before you go, it’s a one seater.
I’ll definitely be going back for pizza and beer after work.
