This place makes me want to ditch the city and live in the country if I can get such a good deal in such a lovely setting. Who would have thought sandwiches and salads could be done so right? The deal is just so well priced, for the same amount of food at a place like Panera you’d pay the same for just one sandwich as you would here for a sandwich, salad, fruit, pickle, and of course, dessert. Good value and good quality ingredients, lots of indoor seating(it has a coffee shop feel but not coffee shop size or pretentious atmosphere), playground outside and picnic tables overlooking the orchard. Loved it!

Fabulous breakfast and/or lunch with great atmosphere! I’ve got to try their bar-b-q dinners because, based on my experience here so far, I’m certain I won’t be disappointed. Also, it’s very reasonably priced.

Absolutely love Meadowbrook Orchards. We have been regulars here almost every Sunday for years now. Dave Chandler and family run a great business. They are involved in the community, serve great food, and have great servers. They are everything a local business should be. They support the local farmers market, now do weddings, have a Thursday night BBQ. This is a place you should add to your list of places to go and get breakfast.

We stopped by lunch today. It was a pleasant experience. All had soup and sandwiches. The food was fresh and tasty. The help was limited to just two young staff but both handled the costumes with smiles and politeness, esp Mike who served us.

Always come here when I am in the area visiting my partner. They have a great lunch offer, with a fresh soup, a sandwich and dessert, all of which can be custom-ordered as you wish. Very nice casual atmosphere, mixed crowd of customers, feels very welcoming. You should try their turnovers, those are always my favorite!

Great place to visit during nice weather. Food was good and a lot of families there enjoying the place. Would love to come back during one of their harvest events.

Atmosphere’s nice, and that’s where the positive notes end. Since this is really the only place for breakfast or lunch in the area, we’ve ended up here several times when visiting family. It has gotten steadily worse over the years. The food is nothing more than soup and sandwiches you could assemble at home in 3 minutes with any leftover ingredients you have in your fridge. Even the once-delectable turnovers have become barely filled and overly sweet. The kids assembling the sandwiches are very dismissive and one actually rolled her eyes at my friend when she pointed out that the tomato and lettuce had been left off her sandwich– charming. Anyway. It’s a draw because the setting is pretty and there’s nothing else around.

Second visit here, and changed my rating from 4 to 5! This place is such a refresher from your regular restaurant. The food is fresh, home-style cooking, the staff is extremely friendly. The views from this place are amazing; great place for breakfast/lunch with the family!

Unexpected pleasure with amazing views. Stumbled upon this residential breakfast spot/orchard and was very happy with the omelet, home fries and cider donuts. Big, vibrant and great for families. The walk in the orchards after breakfast was relaxing and scenic. I’d gladly return and love to try the BBQ in the summer.

We stopped on for Breakfast on the 19th and I was a bit stunned at what we were greeted with… and not in a good way! We walked around for a bit to find a clean table. Most of the tables had crumbles of food and and grease markings on them from prior customers(quite possibly from the prior day). After selecting a table that was somewhat clean(still needed a wipedown) I was awestruck by the sun radiating in and really highlighting all of the food on the floor along with the tables. It was appalling. By this point the breakfast that we had ordered had arrived… no complaints with the food that I was eating, just with all of the food bits I was surrounded by. Two people working, six people eating and not a whole lot going on. Someone could have really taken the time to wipe the tables and sweep the floor I have dined here many a night in the summer and once in the morning prior and this is NOT what I am used to from Meadowbrook. It was really disappointing.

Awesome find. Fresh and wholesome food. Weekday menu is limited but great still. Good bread. They have a store area where u can but honey and jam. Also have frozen baked food like pies that you can take out.

I stopped by today for the BBQ and got the brisket with dirty rice, stuffed pepper, and cornbread. The brisket was decent, but I would like it a little better if they didn’t put the sauce on it and gave you a choice to put it on or not. The sides were the true standout here. Excellent sweet cornbread, the dirty rice was made with brisket and a little sauce, and the stuffed pepper is a poblano pepper with melted cheese over the tasty stuffing! I never thought I would find food this tasty here!

Their apple cider donuts are to die for! They only make them on the weekend but they are worth braving the crowds for. Their bacon is excellent as well as their sausage patties. My son had the Big Boy. It’s a bagel with a sunny side up egg, bacon and sausage. He was very satisfied with this breakfast sandwich and went back to have it again later in the week. I had scrambled eggs with toast and sausage and it was plenty of food. The coffee was very good. I like how they have it set up to the right of where you order and you help yourself. They are old fashioned in that you order at the counter and pay at the register when you are done. We tried a side order of the French toast and that was delicious with their real maple syrup but the cider donut French toast took the cake! That was a special treat that you just can’t find many places. We bought chocolate chip cookies, strawberry rhubarb jam and pickled hot cherry peppers before leaving the store.

FANTASTIC lunch spot! Stopped here by chance and it was perfect. We got the full lunches — soup or salad, sandwich, chips, fruit, and a dessert for $ 10.50. Would highly recommend — we’ll be coming back for breakfast!

We went to Meadowbrook Orchard to try a new breakfast location. We have identified five areas we feel are important when reviewing a restaurant. Atmosphere: very casual, cafeteria like. There is no one to great you when you walk in the door and it is seat yourself. Having never been there we were a little lost when we first entered. Service: it is a family run place but the service we received today was very poor. Our waitress took fifteen minutes to even approach our table. The food took a half hour to come out and we ordered simple breakfast food. The waitress forgot our toast and drinks. Food: I ordered the Macintosh omelet which was delicious, my fiancé ordered the breakfast special and was not impressed. The chief forgot to modify the food like we requested. We asked for chocolate chip pancakes Value: prices higher than normal, not large portion size Cleanliness: very clean Would we return? Not our favorite breakfast place we would try others first
