The young man at the drive thru window on weekday mornings is rude, unfriendly, uncaring. After mumbling to me, not saying hello, you’re welcome, or thank you, he walked away. No one came to the window for minutes. Then he came to give me my food, and shoved it at me. I asked him to take it back, that I wanted my food hot. He mumbled it was hot, I disagreed, and he closed the window. I saw him inside talking to a fellow employee and laughing. When he came back in too short a time for my food to have been remade, I asked for a manager. I asked the manager to have a talk with Mr. Rude, and tell him not to mock and laugh at customers. Really, I’m not paranoid, he’s just not suited for waiting on the public, without serious training in manners, proper behavior, and courtesy. I’m not coming back here, there are plenty other Carl’s Jr’s to choose from.

This place took 30 min for our order and still left out the onion rings. To top it off when the guys asked what sauces we wanted he went on break. Smh it was a joke

15 yrs ago, Carl’s Jr was my favorite fast food joint. Their $ 6 burgers and classic Double Western Cheeseburgers(DWC) could not be beaten back then. I’m not sure when that changed but it did, and it’s been that way for a while. Every so often I try to come back(i.e. when the lines are too long at In N Out) to give them another shot. I have now abandoned those efforts. It has everything to do with the food quality. It’s quite bad now. The burgers are dry, burnt and no longer have much flavor. The fries are also flavorless and soggy. The only reason I will ever return is for the spicy chicken sandwich. It’s still good & it’s cheap(just over a buck) so it works for a quick drive thru snack when you need sustenance. And I know it’s not just this location since I had the same experience at one in Carson. Sorry Carl’s Jr, I’m breaking up with you.

It’s been clean on my recent visits, once mid afternoon once later around 8:30 on a Sat. night, maybe they’ve cleaned up their act since some of the negative reviews or it’s the timing. I like that their premium burgers are grilled not processed and chopped, the white meat chicken sandwich is very good for a fast-food restaurant. However the last time in the evening the center wasn’t cooked through, and I thought of sending it back but decided to just take it and microwave it later. There was only one girl working the counter, bringing food eat-in service and handling the drive-through window so she was understaffed, maybe the kitchen staff too. So there was too long a wait and food not cooked well. But maybe there’s a problem with the kitchen here: the first time in the afternoon we ordered 2 portabella mushroom burgers which they’re promoting and the burgers arrived with no mushrooms or cheese, had to send them back and then they seemed to just add that to burgers which had already cooled down. The jalapeño poppers seemed like they’d been sitting a while, too dried out. Sweet potato fries were good. However the server during the day was Mohammed, a really nice and attentive man. He gave similar service to a regular sit-down restaurant, he adds class to the place. They didn’t take our order for the poppers correctly so Mohammed comped them. This intersection has lots of fast food joints being on the way to Six Flags, and overall I’d rate it better than Burger King but other than the white meat chicken sandwich about like the Jack in the Box same intersection they’re competing with. I was surprised how good the chicken sandwich can be WHEN it’s cooked right, it could be served on a plate with sides liked mashed potatoes or noodles instead of a bun as in more expensive restaurants and called a «schnitzel» or as chicken parmesan. The teenage kid I was with says he used to prefer Carl’s as a «classy fast food joint» with waiter service but now prefers Jack’s version of the portabella mushroom burger — I agree, that seems to have more quality cheese and more meaty portabella mushrooms. Carl’s cheese seemed processed. Getting the food order wrong 2 times out of 2 not good but the service was well-meaning to surprisingly good, problem seems to be that management sometimes understaffs and there is some miscommunication with kitchen. If they get that right I’d give them a 4.

I ordered a Famous Star and didn’t enjoy it. I’ve had this burger in the past many times and loved it. I didn’t enjoy it this time. My husband ordered some burger and he liked his. That’s why I decided to give it a generous 2 stars. Fries were tasty and hot. We used the drive thru. Bottom line: I should have gone to In and Out. It’s very close to this location.

Never again will I come here. STEERCLEAR. If I could I’d give this place a negative star! If this is how they up keep their place imagine how your food is cooked in the back. GROSS.

Ok so this has to be one of the worst Carl’s ever. To put into perspective, this is the first time using Unilocal, and I created a Unilocal account just to let you guys know how bad this place is. To start off, I’ve gotten food poisoning from here twice! Once from the Bacon Western Cheeseburger and the other one from the $ 6 Jalapeño burger(something like that). What really made me write this review is the manager(fat mexican lady) from this place. So me and my buddies go through the drive-thru, we ask her to put it on separate orders, but apparently she can’t do that. No big deal, so me and my buddies get it all on one order, and after we got our meals/change, my buddy asks me for his leftover dollar. I look in my hand, and all I see are coins, no dollar. But the receipt clearly said I was supposed to get $ 1.73 back. I look around the car and I can’t find it. So me and my friend go inside and ask to speak to the person who took our order. The manager comes up and tells us that she’s the one who took our order. We proceed to tell her that she shorted us a dollar, and she tries to say that she did give us a dollar and that we are lying. I asked her politely if she can simply look at the cameras and see if she gave us the dollar or not. Her reply was that she’s «too busy right now», when there were no cars in the drive-thru. I demanded her to check the cameras, or give me my dollar back. She then starts to make a big deal and yells at me, calling me a liar and saying that she’s going to give me my dollar back but out of her purse. Making it seem as if she’s the victim. All of this over a freakin’ dollar!!! I’m a college student(along with my friend) who are really struggling financially, so every dollar counts. Anyways, I hope this review helps people realize how crappy of a place this is, from their food all the way to their customer service. I’m definitely not coming back here, and so aren’t my friends and family. The other Carl’s Jr on Lyons is way better than this one, and it’s only two minutes away!

People, it’s Carl’s Jr. You get what you pay for. For me, I ordered the Superstar with cheese and it was perfect. Fries were crispy and not soggy. Got what I expected for the price I paid. Let’s be realistic, it’s as good as it’s gonna get.

This location does a horrible job at everything. They were slow to take my order, and then slow to make my order. I had to park and wait 15 minutes for my food, and they had messed it up. There was sauce on the items I ordered without sauce, they didn’t give my my order of criscuts, and my request for«a lot» of mild sauce for tacos was met with just two sauces in the bag. I had to send it back.

Service is horrible, they are really slow to take your order, and their food prep time seems like a lifetime. Good luck getting more than 2 packages of ketchup. The fries were cold too. Upside is they give better service in the drive through. Oh and all three of us who ate there got sick stomachs afterwards.

I’ve had horrible experiences attempting to eat here late night to the point that the people with whom I road trip refuse to stop here anymore. Every time we’ve tried them late night they either are out of what we want or refuse to make it. The impression I had was that they don’t make the full menu during late night hours. I was making this trip around lunchtime so I decided to give them another try. This Carl’s Jr. is a combination Green Burrito restaurant and carries the full menus of both. The soda fountain has multiple options for those of us who prefer non-sugary drinks: Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Dr. Pepper, and Minute Maid Light. I ordered a burrito especial with chicken. The burrito wasn’t bad, but there was considerably more beans in the burrito than chicken. In fact, it was hard to taste the chicken at all. I found myself searching the filling for anything chicken colored or chicken shaped since I’d been unable to locate anything even vaguely chicken textured. My fries were hot and tasty, but my friend’s sweet potato fries were just warm and not crisp. She liked er burger. Outdoors, there was a patio seating area with nine tables, five tables with umbrellas that seat four people and four tables that seat two without umbrellas. I will never return during late night hours(not worth risking a mutiny in the car on a road trip) but this location does a pretty respectable job of providing lunch items.

To the management of this Carls Jr location … So EXTREMELY dissatisfied !!! We visited your location on Thanksgiving Eve while driving from So Cal to Northern California. We frequent this route quite often and were so looking forward to reaching Carl’s. The kids were starving and we couldn’t wait to get there. We finally got to your location at 24715 Pico Canyon Rd, Stevenson Ranch, CA91381 and couldn’t believe what transpired in the next 15 minutes after that. We ordered $ 6 burgers, French fries, low carb burger and medium drinks. I specifically said for the one order that we wanted a Teriyaki Burger, no mayo … Simple. We were waiting what turned about to be a really long time. In the meantime our daughter went to get a strawberry fanta and there was no syrup. She said it was fine and she would just have it like that. It wasnt that big of a deal and so we let it go. Now, I must tell you that I never complain but I am in the consumer industry and feel the need to enlighten you as to why we will never return. We were eating while driving so we could get to where we were heading before midnight or I would’ve turned around immediately. The burgers were falling apart, especially my low carb, they only provided us with 3 napkins and extremely messing burgers. Now, not only did it take us nearly 15 minutes to get our order but now we had terrible food and there was nothing we could do about it. The Teriyaki Burger no mayo, came out as a Turkey Burger with mayo and no onions. The French fries were I think the worst French fries I have ever tasted. Now with 4 of us that clearly heard what I ordered and also ate the fries, witnessing that this was not my personal opinion. The store wasn’t even busy and so my conclusion and advice to you is this … that location was not only bad quality but also lacked in good management. I hope your future customers will experience something a little less frustrating and extremely disappointing.

Busy… Busy Day at work… Monday and Tuesday, I brought sack lunches and ate in. Tuesday, I stayed in late at work and I wasn’t able to prepare any lunch for today. So, why not just go get something quick to eat. I drive out and I am on the I-5 South, I drive past Valencia Blvd, and I see smoke. Another fire?! Geez. Good thing, I am not going past Lyons Ave exit. There is a lot of fast foods here to choose from… Taco Bell, Burger King, In-N-Out, McDonalds, and El Pollo Loco. This Carl’s Jr is right off the freeway when you come from the north and its across the bridge for north bounders. I had a coupon for a free medium drink with a purchase of a premium salad, not the side salads, and it was about to expire.lol. I walk in and its pretty clean and there is a waitress/employee that walks around and asks if everything is good. That’s good, its not just for restaurants and how fast food places should be. I asked if they still had the Southwester Grilled Chicken Salad… and the employee said, «YES». COOL! I ordered a Southwestern Grilled Chicken Salad($ 4.99).My FAVORITE. They replaced Southwestern with some random Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Salad. My total was $ 5.48. The wait wasn’t long, just 3 – 4 minute wait. It was delicious as always. Ok, I KNOW… its not healthy because salad is associated… lol. Its just around 450 Calories. However, I am avoiding eating hamburgers and its still a better choice. I got no problems here. I was able to watch helicopter fly by and drop water and see traffic stop. Glad the fire is out… I just hope there won’t be another one flaring up soon… Have Fun here and Keep Unilocaling!
