We stayed here for a wedding last weekend. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The non-smoking room reaked of smoke. We had to go buy Febreeze and candles to make it smell better. It didn’t help much. Our friends all did the same for their rooms. There was no Shampoo or conditioner so I had to buy those too. The walls are paper thin and the security readers on the outside doors are broken so anyone can enter. The only good things were the hot shower and mini fridge. The hotel is over-priced for the quality. Next weekend we are staying at a Hilton for the same price we paid here. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The Grandstay down the road looks wonderful.

I have not made the mistake of staying at such a disgusting hotel in years. I was completely at fault by selecting this hotel as I wanted a hotel in the area with a great pool and hot tub for my 4 year old to enjoy. EVERYTHING else about this hotel was unacceptable. They do not answer the phone.(should have been my first clue) We arrived for our King Jacuzzi suite check in a little early as they couldn’t bother to answer the phone to let us know if that was possible, so we just stopped by. The gentleman(owner I suspect) was nice and gladly checked us in an hour early as they«clean the suites» first. The walk down the hallway to our room(128) made me wonder if I could actually stay at this hotel. The absolute stench of stale cigarettes mixed with the noxious detergent smell made it feel like it was burning my throat.(and I’m an occasional smoker!) The room and the entire hotel are in complete disrepair. It appears that they are holding on by a thread to keep this thing up and running. I don’t know what I’d expect from«America’s Best Value,» and that is my fault. But I was stupid to believe that these are all corporate hotel chains and can’t be that much different than one another. I was stupid to believe that if I paid for a hotel room, that there wouldn’t be mold in the bathroom. The furniture in our room was so old and broken, you could hurt your legs just sitting on the couch as the wood was pushing through. There was NOWAY I was allowing my kid to sleep on, or even investigate, the hidden hide-a-bed…I obtained an additional set of sheets from the maid passing by and threw them over the sofa just to SIT on it to watch tv. It was absolutely awful. There were constantly women cleaning the facility and cleaning rooms… but you can clean broken down junk all you want, and it still wouldn’t make me stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights. First room was #117, we booked a smoking room so we expected a room that was smoked in, but we found a room that was smoked in plus not cleaned. Under the bed sheets I found a White Castle salt packet, the A/C unit was covered in dust and dirt, the carpet was torn up in 2 spots, the headboard fabric was falling off the wall, but that is nothing compared to how disgusting the bathroom was. The walls were filthy with brown tar drops all over, scuffs of who knows what all over, toothpaste and other cosmetics on walls around sink, didn’t dare touch the blow dryer and then there was the shower. The ceiling tiles above the shower were sagging with water damage and tons of mold! Went to the pool area and sat in the jacuzzi only to notice ants crawling on the pool area floor by the jacuzzi. We came back to the room and mostly went straight to sleep, on top of the covers, almost in tears that our romantic weekend was miserably disappointed. Early the next morning we got a new room, #215 non-smoking, and moved to find a much cleaner, more comfortable room. The difference was astonishing, should have switched sooner! Breakfast was pretty standard– cereal, bagels, pastries, toast, juice and coffee. Front desk staff was pleasant when present, not at the desk most of the time. Check out consisted of throwing keys in a basket at the empty desk. Alternate entrance did not lock, so not a secured building as advertised. Also, large amount of construction men staying there that were drunk, obnoxious, loud and not controlled by staff. I would not stay here again if it was free.

Stayed here last night… Friendly clerk. Comfortable room, with a fridge and microwave! Had a free breakfast. Would recommend the Inn for a cheap nights stay!

Terrible customer service! When trying to book a room for a friend’s wedding, I was told by the main reservation line that blocked rooms needed to be handled directly with the hotel. I had to call over 20 times(at multiple times over several days) before someone answered the phone. The same thing happened when I attempted to call back to add on an additional night. By the time I got a hold of someone I was so angry I cancelled the reservation altogether.
