Was NOT impressed with the service OR the food. Waited 45 min to finally get our order and mine was supposed to be a sizzling skillet but was actually cold and mushy. The waitress never came around to see if we needed anything, not even once. My son and I came from out town and were looking for a good meal… we will NOT be choosing this place in the future!

Came for dinner, the service was’t bad! The food was okay. I think the only complaint would be that we weren’t checked on too often — my friend didn’t get his drink refilled for quite a while even though there were only 5 other tables in the restaurant. This didn’t detract from the overall experience though.

my sweetie and i hit up this place on a busy saturday evening. we take our customary place near the register and wait to be seated. various staff looked at us and continued onto thier duties, but NONE of them acknowledged us. i counted FOUR different staff who clearly saw that we were waiting to be seated(hey, i’m sure we made eye contact, alright?). not one of them said, «hello,» or, «we will be right with you soon.» … we were simply just IGNORED. this is NOT the only time we’ve experienced poor service at this denny’s. during one visit, we were again ignored and had NO refills on our beverages, and i had to walk to the counter to ask the manager for our bill. we could have easily have left without paying, the attention we had recieved on that visit was just so dismal. during another visit, the waitress repeatedly slammed our drinks and plates upon the table. we were not served, so to speak, it was more like she just wanted to unload and unburden herself of the food. i know it doesn sound like much, but the impression she gave was that she simply didnt care. this denny’s has been around forever, and i cannot honestly say i had many pleasant dining experiences. in fact, i can count more negative dining experiences here than good ones. i think this will be our last.

We walked in and they tell us to sit any where and they will get to us. They dropped a couple of menus at the table and we never saw them again. Needless to say we got up and walked out and we weren’t the only ones walking out. Very disappointed in the service. They just remodeled the restaurant but they’ll go out of business soon if they don’t change their staff. We will not be going back.

Yeah what can I say … this Denny’s is just so old. Came for breakfast with a group of people. The food was eh … I mean could they afford the bacon? It was so thin I could see thru it. Pancakes were huge, thick and dry. Had to ask for butter; only 1 type syrup. Eggs were done perfectly, coffee was ok not great. But the restroom was the worst! Smelled like moldy mildew, nasty floor, sink faucet not working. The service was fast, with food, coffee & napkins. I will not come here again because it was dirty, old & smelly.

We stopped at Dennys after shopping to get an Ice cream and relax! first thing when you walk in the door you can see Rain Damage on what looks like a support beam! it looks like it could collapse! can’t believe that OSHA would allow this to stay open! then the waitress is already warning us that we are not going to have fast service because they are short handed! the only reason I gave two stars was for the poor employees really trying to help as fast as they could! We ordered the ice cream with apple crunch which is suppose to be warm with cold Ice cream! and it was all cold! not happy at all then you look around the prep area has dirty glass and the windows too! I blame the management! because I over heard one of the girls say we could call in another employee and he said no they didn’t have permission! what are they doing with all the money cause none is going to repair the store or to staff the place so it would be clean and enjoyable…

10−18−15 This used to be a family favorite. There was a tall young very manic personable Asian guy who worked there and that guy hustled. The last time we were in our male server was very cool and we really enjoyed our meals there. We left a huge tip too because there were a few of us and he had to work to coordinate things. I now prefer Mimi’s Café up the street. Great prices… newer restaurant and the menu is and upgrade. But this Denny’s is still great for some quick and dirty food in a hurry:)

First we were seated and waited ten minutes before the waitress came by to take a drink order and asked if we were ready to order. We did. Our food came quick, but cold. Also, she never asked if I wanted a refill of my coffee. Last thing, no napkins. We won’t be coming back any time soon.

I hate to give such low stars because every other experience has been good. But, to ask for more condiments and hear rudely«more ranch»? «More lemons» with a look on her face like I’m asking for too much, just isn’t the kind of service I expect when I take my family out. Then to ask for water and hear«I have to take my break» every other server has been great! Extremely attentive. We come here frequently, guess my business isn’t as valued as I thought.

Do yourself a favor … walk across the parking lot and just go to Buffalo Wild Wings(it’s right next to it). Came here on Saturday during brunch hour. We had about a 20 min wait in the lobby to get seated. They didn’t seem busy, but did appear understaff. After we got seated and the waitress took our order we waited 30 mins for our food. Was JUST about to walk out of the place when the waitress brought our food over so figured we would stay at that point. Food was very blah!!! But was so hungry by that point, decided to just eat and make the best of it. The waitress was friendly and nice. She apologized for the wait and explained that one of the cooks decide to take a lunch break during their peak hour. :( The place was DIRTY and dusty. The place is very dated and has not been taken care of. Will NOT be back for sure.

You are either reading this review debating to visit or you have been waiting forever and you are debating on if you should stay or leave. RUN, AVOIDTHISPLACE. I will start out by saying this was my first and only visit to this location. I wish i would have read the Unilocal reviews first but i was hungry and the Buffalo Wild Wings next door was closed. Next time i will walk into Target and buy a loaf of bread ad some cold cuts and make myself a sandwich. None of these reviews are wrong or exaggerated. The place is a bit dirty but the wait for eggs and pancakes is ridiculous. Do your self a favor and drive the extra 10 or 20 minutes and avoid this place. After a lil more than 40 minutes of waiting i finally got my food and half of it was cold the rest was warm… nothing was hot.

A lot of dust in the air! There was tiny particles In my water! Out dated! Windows are dirty! Dust on the lamps over the table. Which can clog up you’re lungs when breathing it in.

Ok no stars WTF my family and I been waiting 40 min for food waiter is clueless and I guess the meaning of family food and value is out the window. I would rather drive to kettle man 12 miles out of the way then to ever come back here. The manager an older Asian lady is clueless about how to run a restraint I informed her we have been waiting for almost an hour and was sitting in front of her face she looked at me what table WTF talk about customer service an awareness.

They need more wait staff. We waited over an hour for our food and it all came out piecemeal. There was sometimes a 10 minute plus wait between some of us getting our food. 45 minutes in and waiting for a coffee refill that never came we finally asked for a refill. The answer we got was«when I have time.» Not sure why I even wanted a refill as the coffee is horrible. We never got a refill on water. Actually our waitress never came back once we got our food. We had to go to the register and ask for our bill. The bathroom is filthy. I’m pretty sure I won’t be returning anytime soon.

It has been many many years since my last visit. My roommate and I decided to venture out for a 2015 New Year day breakfast. This was our stop. We arrived around 1015am, it was full and the wait was 20min. We were seated within 10min that was a big plus. I had the Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast, I was surprised on how tasty and moist the pancakes were. THUMBSUP… My roommate had the All American Slam, i guess she enjoyed it, she finished before I did. Now, The hard part. Our waitress. Boy was she a number. She had too many tables to handle. If it wasn’t for her overly kindness for making us wait, we would have gotten up and left. For drink refills we got a half glass of water.

Food is fine. Place is old and dirty. Outside needs landscaping. The atmosphere is a big thing for me and when things need updating it’s not good. I prefer the charter way location honestly

I agree with Ferdie R, this has to be the worst Denny’s in existence! The place is filled with tacky decorations bought at the local dollar store. This location needs a complete overhaul of both facilities and management. Manager wanted to argue with us about the awful light that right in our eyes, and also credit card acceptance. Yes, this appears to be the same awful manager mentioned in other reviews. Avoid this location, go to the March/I-5 location instead.

The food was great, I’ll start with that. However, the late night service is pathetic. I mean, absolutely pathetic. A friend and I walked in with intentions to have the rest of our friends meet us as a party of six. Upon walking in, a server, Samantha, grabbed two menus, failed to make eye contact with us, muttered, «this way,» and proceeded to walk to some small tables. Of course, we didn’t move. That’s not the service we came in for and we were looking for a booth to sit in. After a few minutes of standing there, an older gentleman came up, asked if it was just us and we corrected him saying we were going to be a party of six. Then, with our six menus in his hands, he looked around and asked this other waitress, of the darker complexion, if she wanted to serve a table of six. She looked over at us, gave us a nasty look, and spat, «no,» before walking off to serve her table. He then looked over to Samantha and asked if she wanted to serve our table. She didn’t respond. We were left waiting with this man standing there with our menus and no one to take us to our tables. Right when we were getting ready to leave to go elsewhere, he took the reins and decided to seat us himself. A few minutes later, the rest of our party arrived and seated themselves with us. Finally, our waitress Samantha came over with a pad and pen, failed to make eye contact again, and mumbled, «what do you guys want to drink.» We ordered, ignoring the distant behavior of our server. When our drinks came out, they were filled to the absolute rim of the glass so we could not move the glasses without spilling. And my coffee was filled to the brim so I could not add creamer or even sugar without the liquid spilling over. Not to mention, she put my creamer and sugar at the very edge of the table where I couldn’t reach so I had to stand up in the booth to actually grab those items. When we ordered our food, I made it extremely clear that I would be paying for four of us, while my friend and her boyfriend would have their own separate tab. My tab got a soda, some fries, a few waters, and two pancakes. When one of my friends got her fries, she realized that she didn’t get any ranch. So, she walked up to the other waitress that originally glared at us when offered to serve our table, and asked if she could get a side of ranch. I kid you not, the woman gave my friend the up-down glare and said, «you need to talk to YOUR waitress because that’s not my job,» and walked off. Needless to say, she came back a good ten minutes later with a small side of ranch, nearly threw it on the table, and said, «here’s your rach,» and walked off. Should I mention that there was no eye contact? We ate and got ready to leave. As my friend that ordered the soda, who I made very clear I would be paying for, walked out, she was stopped by our waitress, Samantha who said, in a very sarcastic and rude tone of voice, «you know you have to pay for that soda, right?» Sadly, I had to remind Samantha that I was paying for the tab. Now, my friend was extremely offended that she was treated like a child or like someone who had intentions to «dine and dash.» When I was paying, Samantha dared to ask, «what’s the tip?» as if she were expecting us to tip her. Of course, I said, «nothing. Our service was terrible,» grabbed my receipt, and walked out. Now, unless it’s to fill out a paper written complaint form, I have absolutely no intentions of ever returning to that diner until those waitresses can learn what true customer service is. And as for Samantha’s «tip,» here it is: Look your customer in the eye. Speak up. Smile, you’ve got a job and your customers are what help your paycheck. Don’t jump to conclusions.
