I went here for the first time today 8÷1÷13 just to check it out as back in the day, I would visit bread outlets for good deals. The parking lot is horribly small– like 3 or 4 spots– very tight There were people just kinda hanging out in the parking lot– was there around 2:30– maybe they like the smells that come wafting outside when the door opens? When I walked in the door, the smell of bread made me hungry– love it! Anyway, it’s very small but they pack it full of yummy carbohydrates. Daily specials–(past its prime $ 1.00 loaves of bread) grabbed my attention, they also sell fresh bread, wraps, pastries, English muffins, hamburger buns, hot dog buns, and Bob’s Red Mill– nice assortment. The lady at the front counter was friendly and asked if I had a punch card– I am now a punch card holder w/two stamps– once the card is full, you get to choose two products of your choice. I would go back

I may be slightly biased because I used to work here… But I cannot complain on their prices. FYI this outlet store has both fresh products(the same stuff that’s out in the supermarkets) and the«day old» product(not really a day old but passed it’s day to be on supermarket shelves(but still within the date range marked on the product). The fresh product is usually indicated by a red line and even costs up to $ 1.00 cheaper than the stuff that is out in the regular grocery stores. The«day old» product is indicated by a black line and has a huge difference in price, but has the same quality in taste. There are so many great things about this place, with the exception that it closes at 5:30PM(which was beneficial when I worked there), but I sometimes don’t get into town or on that side of town before the closing time. Still I have no real excuse on not coming here more frequently(of course that most if not all of the products are real good and I don’t want to eat it all, because I will… lol). Oh and if anything(while I was here today, I heard a comment that I most frequently heard working here, «you don’t have much parking») which is a huge turn off for most, but I still would wait for a parking or park slightly down the street for the amount you will save in the long haul. Everyday they have some kind of special and you will receive a pink punch card(that if you forget, you can get a new one and they will gladly combine) after filling the punch card up with the combined amount of purchases you get some FREE goodies!!! Another notable thing is– once the product is on its final leg(ex: 2/8, today’s date) the product is still good(right? You may have bread on your counter passed its date, that is still good), so the items get taken off the shelves and given to local food banks. And if you’re from Stockton or know something about Stockton, you know that we have a huge population of homelessness or families in need, these food banks then deliver hope and food to the bellies of families. :) And not many local companies do this!!! Sigh… Lastly… FYI it is the only bakery outlet left here in Stockton, so why not give this place a try? There have been rumors of this place also closing, but maybe us Unilocalers can help it not go that route. This store has quality products as well as quality service.(No it isn’t a bakery, just called«bakery outlet» product comes from So. San Fran…)
