Delicious bread! This is the fluffiest and yummiest pan dulce I’ve found away from Mexico. Fluffy, soft, delicious. Should I say more?

I came in purely for tamales and heard good reviews. I found the pork tamales to be a bit too dry, and way too much masa for my preference. The space is very big, and not a lot is actually in it, and felt very daunting walking in. Probably won’t be back.

Tamales are great here! Very moist and big chunks of meat. Only $ 1 each but well worth the purchase because in my opinion, they’re worth more than just 99 cents. But I’m not complaining! They need to get some interior decorating going on in here though! Very barren inside and plenty of space to add more… well. stuff! All there is are giant cases for breads and a counter to make purchases. They cook the tamales in the kitchen in the back. They could turn this place into an actual restaurant. Great food.

So today I came here for some tamales and some bolo bread, so I can make some sandwiches later. I come here from time to time to get some pandulce(Mexican sweet bread) for the kids. I really like the bolo bread here. I buy them when I attempt to make a somewhat okay Torta for lunch or dinner. :) I really don’t buy single pandulce, mainly the ones already pre-bagged for $ 1.50 But the singles are .50 cents each. For us it’s a good buy. The tamales are pretty good here as well. My youngest likes them from here. So I’ll get her some like I did today. The customer service is pretty good here too. I had never had any problems whatsoever. Also they take cash, credit and debit. So yeah, I’ll be definitely be coming back here to get the stuff we usually get. I have passed this purple building multiple times, but never noticed that they sell tamales. My husband and I picked up a couple to go… and were they delicious! My mom and dad will always make the best tamales, but these are the closest to homemade in Stockton. Yes, I have gone to El Dorado Market. The tamales at El Dorado Market have good flavor, but drier masa and meat than Yolanda’s. The tamale’s at Yolanda’s have a delicious flavor, with moist meat and masa! The only improvement that could be made is a little more meat. I will visit this tamaleria many more times to come!!! This business should be located under Tamales too!!!

Delicious, soft, moist, sweet breads — in abundance and at my disposal ;) Always wondered what was inside the little purple store next to Alpine Market. Until recently I glanced over and noticed the sign said panaderia… hmm I thought, «I’ll have to try that»… Eventually some odd weeks later I wind up pulling in and jumping out to go inside. Once in the smell pleased me. Also Everything I touched was super soft and I had to be EXTRA careful when handling — as it should be(for those of which are ment to be soft as a pillow). They even had adorable little sweet breads in the shape of a turtle with green to match. I love the selection. Everything I have gotten from Yolanda’s has been DELISH! My first time inside neither party had paper, just plastic and unfortunately their machine was out of service. I asked her if she could put it aside, so I could go back and pay after heading to the atm. Yet she insisted I just take it and I could come back and pay whenever. Now that’s customer service. & it tastes beyond yummy so you must try! .P.S.I got 7 breads for 3.50 — can’t beat that!
