I’m not the one to complain but for it to constantly happen to me is pretty ridiculous. Today and many times before I go to sonic and get what I always get, a sonic nerd slush with watermelon and strawberry. That is literally the only thing I get there because their food does not seem appealing to me. What I don’t get is why do they ALWAYS seem to forget my damn nerds in my slushy? It always happens! Why the hell do they charge me for something I don’t even receive? It’s annoying and just poor service. I’m not going to lie I’m still going to keep going but now I literally have to check to make sure there is nerds in my drink and if there isn’t, to put my nerds in there. Customers like myself shouldn’t have to constantly make sure their order is right when it’s the employers duty to satisfy the customer. Like really how hard is it to put nerds in a slushy?

Add a terrible experience at Sonic burger on Trinity in Stockton today. I ordered the number to Milldale which was supposed to be a supersonic to patty burger with cheese. Add gone through the drive-through and already left and made it out to the freeway. When I open the burger it was only a regular sonic burger. And it tasted horrible. Not sure what created such a bitter nasty charcoal taste. But that was what it tasted like. Also when I go through the drive-through expect the server to offer me condiments if they don’t automatically put them in the bag. Of course there was no offer and there wasn’t any in the bag either.

Not a fan of Sonic foods. I only go there when they have special deals. Today’s deal was a «grilled» cheese sandwich for $.50. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Well, the way they make the grilled cheese sandwich, it turns out to be a warm mess. I ordered the maximum of five sandwiches and I paid extra for double cheese… $.80 per sandwich. The first time they brought out my order it appeared to be just bread with a little bit of cheese in the middle. Not happy, it was not grilled. The second time they brought it out it had barely been toasted. At that point I asked to speak to the manager whose name was Manuel. Manuel brought the order out again it did not appear to have much cheese on it much less double cheese like I paid for. Manuel went back and re-cooked the order himself and brought it back out. This time it look passable. The corporate ad and picture clearly states and shows a grilled cheese sandwich. In the picture it appears that the bread has been buttered and then grilled for a golden brown toasty look. In reality, it certainly does not turn out that way. I appreciate that Manuel tried to make it right. He definitely went the extra mile to keep me happy. But it appears that they are not set up to make the grilled sandwiches properly. I cannot recommend their grilled cheese sandwiches. One star for their sandwiches and food. And an extra star for Manuel. Thanks again Manuel for trying!

Waited too long at drive up. When I expressed how long it took after pushing that big red button for someone to take my order the girl who answered expressed no care. I know its a minimum wage job but get some customer service skills. How about saying«sorry about the wait.»

My very first experience here on a Saturday night around 10:30pm. I have heard many state that the lines are crazy long and be prepared to wait. My party arrived and parked in a drive in, but when we pressed the button, we where alerted that it is not offered at this time so she had to use the drive thru. We pulled in said drive thru and expected a long wait, but quite the contrary because it was faster than many other drive thrus to my surprise! My acquaintances got an orange cream slush, to which they claimed their favorite. I got an Oreo cake shake. It was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend it! Next time I’m in town I will try to make it back here again and hopefully be satisfied once again.

I’ve been to sonic a hand full of times now and every time it is the same… the longest lines you can possibly imagine and the slowest service of any restaurant I have ever been too(I know, bold statement right) but it’s the absolute truth! The food is alright but we love their slushies on hot day. I think this is the last time I will come by here, my wait has been over 20 min. And I’m stuck in the drive thru.

I keep coming back hoping this restaurant gets better… then I am reminded the lack of quality here. I don’t understand because this place is constantly busy. The positives: this chain has creative and interesting shakes, floats and drinks. Where else can you get a drink with Nerds candy? They also offer different kinds of hot dogs, while some chains don’t even offer hot dogs. I also like that they offer tater tots as an option. Sometimes fries can get boring, you know? It’s a nice twist to the fried potato paired with a cheeseburger. The negatives: because this location is small, be prepared for a long wait for your food. I have tried the drive-up and the drive-thru and either way, it’s a longer wait than other chains(even In-N-Out). I was so disappointed with the chili cheese tater tots. Chili lacked flavor, cheese was skimpy and there were maybe 7 tots in my dish. I know the items are cheap, but you don’t have to make it look cheap. I want to like this unique chain with the roller-skating waiters like the ’50’s but… it’s not worth the money or calories.

I would rate sonics a 5 star but there customer service is horrible I came through the drive thru with my boyfriend & this worker was smiling at him in a flirty way in front of me of course he looked at me & gave me the wtf look because that was disrespectful. This happened at night btw. Sonics hired a hoe I hope they don’t hire more hoes because that was disrespectful & unprofessional. Next time I go I will have a talk with the manager.

I was driving down i5 and decided to stop at this Sonic for lunch last Sunday. We wee there a bit before noon. I’ve been to Sonics before but not this one. Oh what a disappointing experience. I’ll start off with the positives. As we drove to the drive thru, there was a person that was washing down the outdoor tables. The outdoor dining area was clean and nicely shaded. The wait in the drive thru took about 12minutes to get 2 Chicago dogs and an order of tots. A young lady came out to take our payment before we got to the pickup window. That was odd. But as my husband reminded me that we are in Stockton. We didn’t get our change until they handed us the food. Our orders weren’t correct. The Chicago dog wasn’t complete, they forgot the dill spear, peppers, and celery salt for both orders. So basically I got a regular dog but paid for a Chicago dog. It was nothing special, the quality of the meat and bread were just ok. The tots were great though, cooked to a golden crispy exterior… not oily. The 2 gals that helped us were sweethearts. But we will most likely not stop here again.

I’m not a big fan of Sonic’s, but I drive past this place every time I drive back and forth between San Jose and Sacramento. It’s a convenient place to grab some food and take a pit stop. I get hungry, so I take the Eight Mile Road exit on I5 to get some food. The food here is good, but I love their tater tots & the slushies are yummy! I believe there’s happy hour — half off slushies from 2 to 5pm, but I’m not sure if that’s still happening. The workers roller skates the food over to your car, so that’s something different and cool :) You can sit in your car to eat, but they have a few seats available outside too.

I almost always make the stop to Sonic on my drives back to Sacramento so that I can get a Strawberry Limeade. Even better when my stops are around the happy hour time. Who doesn’t like a half off Strawberry Limeade?! They are so yummy and not to mention they have the fun small pellet like ice!

No clue why I even bother to continue stopping into this location on my way home. I don’t know that they have ever gotten my order right, and all I get are slushes or shakes! I understand these are the types of places where people get their first job… But come on now. Something so damn basic shouldn’t be that difficult… For anyone!

08÷21÷14, 08÷22÷14, 08÷23÷14 [do you see a pattern here] Sonic oh Sonic… why must you be so far away… I have long searched for a love whose creamy goodness chills my heart like a thick and creamy strawberry cheesecake milkshake… whose kiss is like that first bite into a foot long chilli cheese coney… why do you torture me so… WELOVESONIC! there, it’s out… I swear last summer we went to Sonic like three times in one day… yes we are nuts… Service: love the rollerskates! verdict: we’ll pass next time… SIKE! are you kidding me… I would go to Sonic every night for milkshakes if I could… I would eventually be like 3,000 pounds but who cares as long as I can have my strawberry cheesecake milkshakes the world will keep turning…

Pros: 1. Drinks half off during happy hour(2PM — 5PM maybe?) 2. Shakes half off after 8PM 3. Open late 4. Decent food 5. Menu has good selection of food from burgers, hotdogs, breakfast, sides, drinks and desserts. 6. Breakfast served all day Cons: 1. Order method is terrible. Workers can’t understand you when you speak through the speakers 2. Seems like they are understaffed. 3. Douchebags revving up their cars to showoff. 4. Too many annoying high school kids late at night.

RAWHAMBURGER! Deserves zero stars! After waiting 15 minutes to have our order taken we waited another 20 for our food when the VERY rude girl brought it out it was only half of the order so I proceeded to ask if she was coming back with the rest but she cut me off and said«just pay and ill bring the rest out when its done» I never show emotion when dealing with people making my food for fear they would do something to it, like spit in it but to me this was worse. Upon getting home I bit into my double bacon cheeseburger but it tasted funny and when I looked down at my burger I realized it was raw! Disgusting! I will never go back.

At 10pm, waited at the car stall while the button was flashing. 15 minutes later, somebody finally says that it’s closed and that the drive they is open. Since when has sonic’s car stalls closed at 10? And why didn’t any of the workers say anything until 15 minutes later when there were clearly workers walking around that saw all of the cars parked? Horrible service.

It’s unfortunate that Sonic doesn’t have better reviews. I’m not sure if I’ve just been lucky and not had a bad experience, but every time I’ve been here, I’ve been satisfied. I always get the strawberry limeade & it never disappoints. They put strawberry pieces and limes in the drinks; the limes are fresh, but I think the strawberries may be frozen but that’s fine with me. The tater-tots and onion rings are also really really yummy! Every time I’ve visited this place, I’ve gotten decently good customer service. But then again, I’m always using the drive thru, which happens to move quickly from my experience. I’m not sure about the stalls’ customer service. Stop by here during their happy hour, which is from 2 – 5 pm EVERYDAY. All of the drinks are half off, which means you can get the route 44(the largest size) for a dollar something! You can also get assorted snacks, like 3 onions rings for $ 1-$ 1.50. I wish there was a Sonic closer to me): but alas, it will only be a treat for me whenever I find myself in Stockton.
