Subway

Have you ever watched someone prepare your food and it seems they are just «slapping it together?» This is what I experience at the Pershing Ave Subway.
The young girl began by aggressively flopping the meat and cheese on as though frustrated or upset with something or someone. She then offered veggies and condiments as if I was a bother or distraction to whatever else she «could have been doing!»
She went on and carelessly blobbed on mayonnaise and mustard, throwing on lettuce and tossing things around the sandwich prep area.
She was probably a high school or college student and clearly didn’t care about dealing with customers.
HOWEVER, the woman that cashiered was pleasant and very friendly. She offered drinks and cookies with a warm and welcoming smile.
I have been to this location several times and this was the first time having to deal with this rude young person.
Usually a great place to relax and eat!

Always a good sandwich. Can’t beat the price.
