If you’re looking to fill an appetite, and emphasis on the«fill» and you don’t care a WHOLE lot about quality then this sushi buffet is for you. I can’t lie, sometimes I just wanna eat and be stuffed on some sushi and Chinese food so I come here haha. Prices are average per person, lunch is around $ 9 – 10 and dinner around $ 13 – 14, not including soft drink(+$ 1.25). All the sushi tastes the same, presentations may differ. Customer service? You don’t come here for that haha.

I met my family here for an early Mother’s Day dinner, since we live far from each other and this one somewhere in the middle. The staff was lazy, but I don’t expect much from buffet staff anyways. The hot food was ok. Nothing too great, but nothing horrible. The sushi was mediocre, but what do u expect from a half Chinese food, half sushi buffet place? I will more than likely return, but I Wouldn’t go out of my way.

We have been coming to this place for about 2 years and it is consistent! Always good! Sushi bar is the best and for the price you can’t go wrong.

I would put negative stars if I could. The food was mediocre, sushi was drowned in cream cheese, and sauces, service was the worst, and bathroom was completely unsanitary. When walking in 3 staff members were all on their phones and lacked any enthusiasm for our patronage. Our sodas were completely flat. When we mentioned it, the server/bus boy just shrugged his shoulders and said that’s all they had. The bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in days. Garbage was overflowing across the floor. There are only two stalls, one was clogged and the other tank would not fill. I mentioned it to the gal at the front, who at least put her phone in the drawer when we walked up. However, her response was the trend, she blank-faced just said ‘okay’ then opened the drawer to check her phone. TOTHEMANAGER: I’m sorry I didn’t take pics of the restroom for you to see the disaster. Also, where were you? Do you ever check on your people? Have they been trained in Hospitality? Basically… your staff just doesn’t care.(dined Thu 5÷5÷16 after 5pm)

This is an alright buffet. It’s not bad, but it’s cool. Some food are good and some are ok depending on what type of dish it is and everyone’s appetite. My boyfriend and I got seated as soon as we stepped through the door. Our waiter was very kind and polite. One thing that surprised us was the white, clear jello. We did not know what it was. Found out it’s lychee jello! It’s delicious and awesome at the same time. I believe it’s $ 13.95 per person for dinner. The price is not too pricey for a buffet. If you think about it, a plate at most restaurant is already worth that amount or even more. What led me to this restaurant: I haven’t gone out to eat for an official date in quite some time. My boyfriend decided to take me out for dinner. It was such a nice thought, the fact that we’re on a tight budget to save for future work expenses. It was my choice on where to have dinner, but I was indecisive. It’s difficult looking for a decent restaurant for the right price. My boyfriend decided to pick a «surprise», which was CoCoRo, a sushi restaurant. He thought I’ve never been there, which I have so I broke it to him. «I’ve been there already(lol).» First couple of hours before deciding, we ended up searching for places to grub that led us on Unilocal which led us to check out this restaurant for the first time. Good thing I have the Unilocal app! I have to say that it’s well worth it.

Wow. So I walked in. At 3:25pm Sunday march 20th(they closed at 3:30pm) after ordering my soda, I went to order food. «The sushi bar» the damn Chinese guy told me I can’t Oder anymore! Wtf! I just got there. So what am I going to eat? He expected me to eat whatever was left on the Tiny moving boat! After repeating myself that I just got there? He replied«whatever». So no harm is done. My intention was to grab the tiny bowl and throw at his unsatisfying customer service Chinese ass! «You’re suppose to make food until no one is longer there» anyhow I walked off no controversy today. Went across the street for better service. But that’s a different restaurant so. I star for the Chinese!

Everything I tried I liked. Best thing is you can order full size sushi rolls aside from the servings floating by around the sushi bar at no extra cost.

Sushi House Buffet Location: 7916 West LN in Stockton, CA95210 (209) 955‑1396 So my last three visits have all been very good. My first visit I came with my eldest daughter. She wanted something different and we decided to come here. When you walk in you’ll see the service desk. Then you wait to get seated. We were placed at the sushi bar. Since I’m a thick and husky type of guy. I thought maybe I wouldn’t have enough elbow room. But there’s room for us «Thick» types at the sushi bar. It’s a buffet so don’t be expecting the top flight service. You got to get out of your seat and get the food yourselves. But they do take the plates away with the quickness. Sitting at the bar was cool pretty cool, but watch out for those patrons who will go over your shoulder or heads and grab their sushi rolls. There is a place to grab the sushi. But a lot of rude/lazy people will just bump you and rarely apologize. That’s my only concern about sitting at the bar. So, I highly doubt I’ll be sitting there again in the near future. The food was piping hot, because we came during lunch time and the place was pretty busy. From my own personal experience. If you come to a buffet * Go when it’s busy* = hot food and fresh. Everything was great down to the chopsticks and to the glass of water. Like I said many times, I’m not a sushi master. To me it’s just sushi, if it’s good then it’s good. I enjoyed my time with my daughter on that day. I rolled in a second time and brought my mother with me. This time I asked for a table and We got seated with the lighting speed of a cheetah. Our waiter was actually pretty cool. Last time at the bar, didn’t really have one. Just someone passing by collecting dirty dishes. On this visit my main focus was on the shrimp. I love getting a big plate and just love peeling the skin. I love the fact that you actually have to work for it. It just taste better that way for me. Make sure you bring some towelettes. Because your fingers will get all yucky like Chucky. Like my last visit everything was awesome. My favorite again the rice. I just filled my plate with whatever I saw and ate like a mad Man. My mom really enjoyed her food as well and once again, I had a great time. Today, I came in with my eldest daughter. We sat at a table and weren’t really that hungry but mainly wanted to spend time together. That part I really liked. So we had good conversations going and was just excited about her new job. I didn’t go overboard this time around. So we got only one plate each. Filled them up with Chinese food and grabbed a few sushi rolls. Like all my previous visits, we made sure to come when it’s busy. Hot hot hot food. I wouldn’t care if the food tasted liked mud. The only thing that mattered was my little girl right in front of me. Enjoying the moment and making a beautiful memory with her. So if you’re in the mood for some good eats, check this place out. Sincerely VD who keeps it real 24⁄7

This place isn’t as bad as everyone says it is. At least not to me lol. I’ve been going here since I was a kid(yup it’s been here a hecka long time). The food is good, the workers let u eat in peace and they have tv’s. I only eat here when they open at 11 so the food is always warm and they make a ton of it because of the lunch crowd. I’m deducting 1 star outta 5 because I don’t like the desserts they have.

There weren’t very many choices for lunch today when it came to sushi. The rolls I did try were simple but yummy. Overall the food tasted good but I noticed multiple times that the employees would put the newer dishes on top of the leftover older dish, mixing the old food in the new. That’s how you give people food poisoning, ESPECIALLY at a buffet where you’re just keeping food warm, & not at safer hot temps. The women’s bathroom was disgusting, out of toilet paper, and the water coming out of the faucet wouldn’t come faster than a trickle. If they could clean up as well as teach their employees some basic food handling practices I might try them again. Otherwise I don’t think it’s work the risk.

I have a great meal every time. Sit at the counter and pick your favorite sushi as it floats in a boat right in front of you. There is also a good buffet if sushi is not you thing. The hot and sour soup is very good.

I’m spoiled when it comes to good sushi so unfortunately my bar is higher than the average Unilocaler from Stockton. This place is cool in the fact that they have a river full of miniature boats of sushi. They also have a buffet bar with the traditional Asian fair. +‘s — Serves alcohol /prices /good selection -‘s — Outdated decore /Don’t know how long the sushi has been floating on the boat before you grab it up /Service was not great

Unlimited sushi?! Immediate 3 stars for me! Unlimited anything is good. Presentation was excellent, service was decent. The only thing holding me back from five stars is the state of the restrooms and the kitchen. The restrooms are in desperate need for attention. They were unclean and the men’s restroom had tagging on it. I managed to get a peek into the kitchen when I walked by and it looked very filthy, loose food all over the counters, dirty dishes and unkempt surfaces. Other than the cleanliness, however, the food was good. Very fast service when asked for a special roll. Will definitely come again to get in on that unlimited sushi! Edit: the busser/server service is kinda slow and the workers, aside from the people running the sushi bar, look miserable.

Mediocre food. Breaded shrimp were cold. Very little variety of sushi… cream cheese and avocado or an imitation crab mixture. It’s all you can eat. Some how I managed to get my moneys worth.

I always go to the lunch special, its about $ 11 after tax. The food is pretty good for the price, and you can order your own sushi roll. The part i HATE is that one of the guys making the sushi, is always in a bad mood. He seems like he doesnt care what you want to order, and when you ask him if you can get a roll he gives you a dirty look. Every time i go he seems like he doesnt want to be there. The other staff are nice and friendly, except for that one guy behind the sushi bar.

Sushi chef and servers and man-at-the-front all really nice. Lots of variety. Really nice looking veggie rolls made at my request. Not the most beautiful place. Not the best rice I’ve ever had. However, yes, the best sesame balls with red bean paste that I’ve ever had. Overall good value for two made-to-order veggie rolls with all the stuff I can think of inside and outside, hot and sour soup(almost had miso too), egg rolls, veggie tempura, edamame, sesame balls, club soda, hot tea, cookie, and in and out on my time.
