Hudson’s Deli

Clean place, friendly service, fair price. Ordered the Italian combo and it was delicious. Plenty of meat and good quality too!
Glad to find a simple, old school deli close to home!

Hmmm where do I start, this place is immaculate the staff is funny and very personable, ok that covers the place and the people now for the food. I have tried several things off the menu and several of the hot specials so will just give you some of my favorites, the hot Italian is awesome and the chicken bacon ranch are two of my favorite sandwiches as for hot specials try the American goulash or the meatloaf and mashed potatoes best I have ever had

So good, I love how they are not cheap with the ham which is thinly sliced and delicious. This will definitely be my go to sandwich spot

Excellent food, good prices, good people.

Came here for lunch one day because of an Amazon Local deal. The location was easy to find as it is just south of the Stratford train station on Main St, and there are signs indicating their location as you drive by. They are also co-​located with several other stores, and there is off-​street parking available.
I walked in and was greeted immediately. Facing you is a refrigerated case with lots of deli meats, and along another wall are several cases holding various drinks and one with salads (macaroni). The back wall has a board with their menu selections.
They had a good selection of cold and hot sandwiches, and I ended up ordering a meatball parmesan sandwich and a chicken parmesan sandwich. It didn’t take very long to prepare and soon I had my food. The sandwiches were both very large (about a footlong) and housed in fresh, soft bread. In short, it was delicious, it was filling, and it was a great deal!

A great traditional deli. I am always greeted with a smile. They make great sandwiches on perfect bread. This is the best sandwich in town! They also carry freshly made deviled eggs in addition to maccorrni salad the way it should be made… with tuna. Also, they carry ketchup potato chips… those are hard to find in this area.
Easy to get to and very affordable. I always like supporting a family business.

(This is a second-​hand review, as I am reporting for my sister and brother-​in-​law, who were visiting from out of state, and my husband.)
My sister, who is quite a foodie, declared Hudson’s Deli’s eggplant parmesan sub the best she has ever had and that’s saying a lot. My husband and BIL — also a foodie — both loved the Reuben sandwich, which was so generous that we still have half of one. BIL also had the lobster bisque and said that it was perfect.
This location has housed a number of businesses and we really hope this one succeeds. They deserve it!
