placed an order on 8/​27, shipped out that day. was told it was shipped out via UPS but they subcontract it to USPS.
the package arrived into USPS on 9/​4, which was 11 days ago and apparently has been lost. Was told by USPS that Teavana never shipped it.
called customer service, was told I have to wait till 15^th to have it shipped. this was on ⁹⁄₁₁ 7 days after it was received at USPS post office. They had me wait a week and a half before any resolution can happen.
All i wanted them to do was send another package so i can get it timely. and now it took more than half a month to receieve my order.
I asked them what they can do to rectifty this to keep me as a customer. they told me that they can send a new package or refund my money. not even a «i will add a little something for your troubles». NOTHING!
i wont be ordering from them nor visiting their local stores anymore. Dont get me wrong, i love their products. but i can shop elsewhere.

i love special teas! i’ve order online twice now and was happy every time. the packaging is nice and the website is very easy to navigate. when you’re about to check out they offer a free ½ oz of tea. they make a list of suggestions to choose from that they generate according to the teas in your shopping cart. amounts you can order start at ½ oz, which is really great if you want to try out different flavors. here is a list of the teas that i’ve tried:
— green spring thunder: delicious. makes a refreshing iced tea
— jazz mint: my two favorite flavors, jasmine & mint. good hot or cold. very soothing
— china lichee: it really tastes like lichee. i served this at my sister’s baby shower and it was a hit. i must have made 5 pots of tea. good hot or cold.
— allergy soother: i got this for my brother who has very bad allergies. i didn’t get to try it but it smelled very good and my brother had it every morning till he ran out.
— peppermint: yummy and good for tummy aches and colds. also good mixed w/​rooibos lemon chiffon
— rooibos lemon chiffon: good hot or cold.
— raspberry organic fruit mélange: not a fan of this when it’s hot but mixed w/​the rooibos lemon chiffon and iced makes it a really really good iced tea.
in terms of price it is much cheaper than going into a store. the rooibos lemon chiffon is $ 6.45 for ¼ lb. compared to teavana’s lemon twist roobios (which is the same exact tea. don’t be fooled by the name) is $ 9.00 for ¼ lb. if you’re a regular tea drinker ordering from special teas is cheaper, even with shipping, than to going into any tea shops.
of course everyones personal preferences are all different but so far i have liked every tea that i’ve ordered from here. not only are the teas really good, they are unbelievably fresh. i agree with pamela r … tea heaven! unlike a certain tea store claiming to be a «heaven of tea».

I have found tea heaven! I was a fan of adagio teas prior, but I came across SpecialTeas online one night and thought I would give them a try. So far I have tried about 5 different teas and they are all wonderful – not just good, WONDERFUL. I cannot wait to get more.
