I had the egg sandwich and it was superb. Super friendly wait staff who was all smiles and quick to answer orders. Would definitely recommend and would return in a heartbeat. Had the ciabatta bread and it was soft and perfect. Great bakery

Best bakery in the valley! Everything is made in house and the sandwiches are made to order. I’ve tried a little bit of everything here and have never had something I didn’t like. The staff are the friendliest around and always take your order with a smile. Really great place to hang and relax or get your food to go. Lots of parking too!

Belle Bakery is a great little coffee shop and bakery. I stopped in one morning before work this week. Plenty of parking in their lot right in front of the shop. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast. They don’t have bacon. But the thing is their bread — it is really good. Fresh and delicious. I like that you can pour your own coffee, because I drink Half-caf — a little from the caffeinated, and a little from the decaf. But what I really want to rave about is their Orange Juice, really fresh, and not acidic at all — the best orange juice I have ever had. I got a Roast Beef sandwich«to go» for my lunch at the office. I put it in the microwave and omg, it was so good. Once again its the bread, very delicious. Great little place to stop in a grab something to go, or have a breakfast sandwich.

Best breakfast and prices. The bakery is exceptional. Take that from a New York Italian food snob. Not your average valley spot.

The quality of the food and drinks at this cozy bakery are absolutely amazing. Breads are baked to perfection and the drinks are fresh and delicous each time! I highly recommend the rosemary chicken sandwich as well as the tuna sandwich which are both served on freshly baked bread. Iced americano, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and the green tea latte are popular favorites at Belle Bakery. The macarons are also must-haves; all the flavors are delicious, definitely better than the average macarons you can get at your average bakery.

This place has been around for many years in many different incarnations. It’s recently been taken over as the Belle Bakery Café and the new owners couldn’t be nicer. There’s a charming French café feel inside and there is additional seating outside for nice days. Their latte game is on point and they offer almond and soy milk for people who don’t do dairy which is a plus. Beyond their espresso drinks they have regular and decaf coffee and also a flavor of the day — today was hazelnut. The pastries are baked in house so they’re very fresh and they make all egg dishes and sandwiches fresh on the spot however you want it *and* with a smile. What I love most about this place is that they make your oatmeal as you want it, which means with water or with milk and that is a game changer for people who are vegan. That said, they could add a few vegan pastries just to spice it up for those of us who don’t do dairy and eggs. I know they’d sell well. Beyond the oatmeal, this is a place where a vegan would come with friends and be able to enjoy nothing but the coffee so adding a few pastries for us might be a smart idea. Still, it’s a sweet little café with good coffee and plenty of on-site parking so it’s worth a stop if you’re looking for something that’s not a chain.

Best Croissants in the Valley. In addition to the perfect, buttery, traditional croissant, the ham and cheese croissant is excellent. Actually, all of the baked goods are delicious, fresh and authentic. Their challah is wonderful, not too eggy, and if you order ahead, you can get a chocolate chip version! Cookies and pastries are well done– classic as well as some new favorites. I love their cappuccinos and lattes… the perfect pairing with a pastry. They serve a tuna sandwich on a mini baguette that is tasty for lunch. If you’re planning a brunch or breakfast and need large quantities best to call a day ahead. The owner and baristas are very friendly and helpful.

Nice cozy spot on Ventura… Easy parking. Had a delicious Spanish omelette — made to perfection. Great croissants, tasted the ham and cheese and loved the spinach and feta one… Reasonable prices and nice outdoor seating as well. Good variety of coffee– had the Colombian blend — fun breakfast place nearby.

Saw this burgundy awning the other day as I was driving down Ventura… decided to give it a try. Needless to say, it’s my new favorite valley bakery. The freshness is incomparable and the service is superb. I had two very lovely girls helping me choose what was most popular and it was such a satisfying lunch. I ordered the Rosemary Chicken Sandwich on ciabatta. The bread was undeniably fresh as well as the condiments. The chicken was so tender and flavorful too. My vanilla latte was also 100x better than any Starbucks drink. I think I’ve found my new favorite valley lunch spot!

This bakery used to be Belwood Bakery. I’m not sure why the name change. They were Belwood for years. And I know while at one point they were connected to the other Belwood bakeries around LA, according to the worker I asked, they are no longer affiliated with those other locations. Anyway, let’s skip to the good stuff… The bread, the baguettes, challah… all very good. The pastries also enjoyable. The croissants — not quite up to Almandine standards IMO, but very good. They have a sausage, onion and cheese croissant that is superb. The yeast in the dough almost gives a champagne flavor. I realize that sounds bizarre and maybe slightly gross, but it was delicious. Their sandwich game however needs to be upped. Everything about the sandwich is decent but the fillings. They are using light or pink tuna in their tuna salad. Just not good. The ham and turkey also taste like cheap quality stuff. Belle, Belwood, what ever your name is, you have the potential to make awesome sandwiches. Please try. Oh, the veg sandwich is delicious and totally worthy of consumption as is. PS: Love the patio deck outside for when dinning there. It’s casual, and surprisingly quiet despite being right on Ventura.
