Stunning interior, Brilliant atmosphere, Delicious Hookahs, good music and drinks. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, engaging in conversation and making recommendations where helpful. We were planned to stop only for a cocktail as it was just Thursday night, but we ended up staying there until 2:00am. OMG! Hookahs were made to perfection. Highly recommended to try their F-​Signutare Hookahs. I’m a big fan of Hookahs. And, I regularly travel around the world. So I can tell you with confidence it was the best Hookah, I’ve ever tried. Thank you guys for such a lovely evening.
A must visit for anyone who’s local or a tourist.

I like this place, the interior is nice, service is good, they have a live music and the food, Amazing food. The only not positive thing that I can think of is the parking, I think they have valet parking only. Will come back

I was here for a friends birthday a few weeks ago and I was amazed at how great everything was ! the food was TO DIE FOR !!! great atmosphere, waiters were very nice and overall great customer service. Also, our friends had singers perform and they put on a great show for us. would definitely recommend going here !

Just came back from this iconic Russian joint. Having visited the place on quite a few occasions, I was a bit surprised to find a discount on living social. I liked the prix fix menu, instead of banquet, but did not appreciate the treatment from the management I got for essentially choosing this option. As is customary in a Russian restaurant, my friends and I brought our own alcohol. But when the manager saw our waiter pour it into glasses, she informed us that we were not allowed to bring it in, and had to buy it from them. I did not see any mention of this in the vouchers, and it goes against normal practices in places like this. No one told us of this requirement when we made reservations either. That said, they make the rules I get it, but note that any other order allows a party to bring in alcohol. The manager did not not even permit a cork fee. What made matters worse was the same manager who kept glaring at us in an obvious attempt to prevent us from surreptitiously pouring any liquor. It made me so uncomfortable that I just took the bottle out of the restaurant, making a point of showing it to the manager on my way out. The food was fine, but entertainment was just ok. I am not coming back and so are my friends. While I understand that customer service is not top priority in places like this, but this treatment was just disrespectful.

If I could give it less than one star I would totally do it.

I did a reservation online for my best friend’s Birthday party.
When we got there the lady didn’t let us get in was really rude. Said that there is a privet party and pushed us outside .
She hardly talked english and asked me to stand outside the venue.
She was ignoring what I said, and said that I’m lying about my reservation.
I showed her the email conformation from her restaurant and she said that it’s not valid.
And said that If I want to reserve a spot there I need to do it over the phone. So when I asked her why do they have this option online she got mad!
Will never go there again nor recommend non of my friends.
One word AWEFUL!!!

my russian friend invited me here for new year eve celebration. very fun place with live music, dancing and great food, actually lots of great food! I am giving 4 stars only for a little slow service and loud music. otherwise, one of the best restaurants in studio city, you should try it.

My husband and I just got back from our visit to Premier. It was our very first time at this place, and the only reason we decided to check it out was because we were in the process of deciding on a place to do our wedding party.
Being from the former USSR and having lived in LA for over 30 years, I have been in many Russian restaurants in the past. I have a good idea what to expect, which made me feel like I was prepared for this experience.
We walked in and couldn’t find a hostess for a while, there was no one to talk to by the door. Eventually, I turned to a guard (a heavy set African American male sitting at the bar and he pointed to the owner. Then he actually went and got the owner to come out and speak to us. I tried to explain that we were there to taste some food and check the place out in case we decide to do our party there. The music was SO loud, that he could barely understand what I was telling him. After confirming that we wanted to eat something he gave us a small table in the corner, right next to other folks already sitting there. He never came back to see how we enjoyed the place or to make sure we were taken care of. I guess he doesn’t need extra business.
We decided to order three different dishes that we thought might be ordered by our guests, if we were to bring them there for the wedding. We decided on Chicken Blinis, Beef Stroganoff and Chicken Kiev plus we asked for a bottle of mineral water.
Although food came pretty quickly, we never got any water and had to ask again, after which we got one glass of water… and had to ask for anther. Meanwhile, they squeezed another party in right next to us that had 2 people too many, so they were almost on top of us.
All this time the live band kept playing a variety of different euro-​pop kinda songs, which would be pretty cool except that it was SO loud that we couldn’t hear a word we were saying to each other. Within just a few minutes our ears were totally numb and deaf and our voices cracking.
During the break there was a show, consisting of three female dancers dancing a variety of different dances ranging from «Burlesque» to «Gypsy» to «Hebrew» to «Latin» to «Samba» and even «Belly dancing». Being professional dancers/​dance instructors, we both thought it was all sub par. LA, as the entertainment capital, has so many great talented dancers, that it is simply a shame to have such marginal entertainment in this city.
Although our food was served very quickly, Chicken Kiev was pretty tasteless and mashed potatoes totally cold. Beef Stroganoff was a bit better, but there was mostly mushrooms with sauce and barely any beef. Chicken blini were really dry (thanks God for sour cream). My husband both looked at each other with disappointment and agreed that even Traktir makes much better food for much better price.
When we asked for a check, we were charged $ 105 which included a bottle of mineral water we never got and also 15% gratuity. We asked the waitress to make a correction ($ 10), and she insisted that we got the water. After reluctantly making a correction (or so we thought), the bill came to $ 99. At that time my husband didn’t even want to continue the conversation and seem petty, so we paid and left.

I have been to this restaurant several times already in the last few years, my most recent time was last Saturday for my friend’s birthday. While ever time the food was great this time we were even more amazed than before. The many different kinds of fish were absolutely incredibly delicious. The salads were so fresh and very tasty, and all the main dishes equally great. LOVED IT!!!

One of the best Russian restaurants in LA. My hubby and I come here almost every weekend. I love their ahi tuna and salmon sashimi, the price is $ 30, but it’s so delicious and absolutely worth it! Also sea-​bass in red pepper sauce is very good!
The live music here is so much fun;)) usually singers sing in english or italian, sooo romantic;))

We went to sushi for 18 people, then 6 of us make a stop by restaurant premier.
omg… 6 people have a bill of 690 $ because they charge us for «catering 90 $ per person plus 100 $ for battle,. we would be ok, but we just had shiki sushi for 600 $ and we were full, so we confront the manager for the bill they told us it mandatory for the weekend to pay such price for reservation. Stay away for this place. It is rip of !!! think 6 of us can have a best diner in any restaurant for money we spent there, and food seems to smell like my underarm., Felt sorry for my friends, Felt shame that I am Russian, Pay bill, … Would never EVER … come back there

Ain’t no party like a Russian party cause a Russian party don’t stop.
But seriously.
I discovered that the secret to surviving a night of shots every 10 minutes is to stuff yourself silly with amazing Russian food.
It’s a banquet hall, so once you arrive, the entire table is COVERED in an array of appetizers– caviar blinis, seared tuna, smoked fish, pâté, salads, meats and cheeses, caprese, perogies, and many others I can’t remember. As cold appetizers are finished, the staff brings out the hot appetizers, then eventually hot entrees like steak and potatoes, shrimp alfredo, etc.
I’m no expert on Russian food, but we were all very happy with our meal. There’s live music and dancing which makes it so much more fun and entertaining. And yes, the music is mostly Russian, but does it really matter? I think it makes this place that much more unique and different.
There is valet parking, but street and lot parking is easy to find and close by. Also, the bar area is sleek and fancy, and the bathrooms, while small, are very clean.
The only thing I wish was different was that the tables were a bit bigger. There was so much food that things got a little cramped.
I had a great time here and would love to come back!

We were there on Saturday for Birthday celebration. All I can say that the food is horrible. Everything is much too salty and garlicky. It seems like they wanted to make it that way so nobody would detest not fresh products. Pickled herring was so dry and old that it would stuck in your teeth. The red caviar had this specific smell of 2 weeks old caviar from the fridge. The meet plates (hot portions) were way too salty. The salad with eel had almost no eel in it. The price per person is $ 80.00 not including alcohol. There are a lot of places in LA that will charge you less, serve you better food and better entertainment.
Extra saying about service: The servers were very rude. While trying to clean the tables, they didn’t pay attention to any guest heads, so they bumped everybody with the plates on the heads. I tried to point it out, but nobody even made an attempt to be polite and just paid no attention.
Music: Typical Russian () music. If anybody from Americans would understand the words, they would probably throw up. I don’t understand why «Russians» want to get on such low level.
Conclusion: Food/​service/​music — awful.
