My friend and I decided to get paninis on our lunch break the other day. I got the Tuscan panini which had no balsamic or any«creamy cheesy aioli» that I could see. My friend wanted a panini with chicken, mozzarella, spinach and balsamic which took the girl on the phone five minutes to put in(maybe she was just new), and when we looked at the receipt she had charged it as a specialty panini and all the ingredients my friend wanted as add ons. I work at a restaurant and that is not right. Her chicken was rock hard and was probably grilled at noon the day before. I’m really sad the food was so bad this particular lunch. I can’t speak from recent experience but in the past their pizza has been amazing!

Excellent Tuscan chicken panini and the mushroom rice soup was spectacular. My husband ordered the pizza and it was thin and crispy we love it like that. Doesn’t look like much from the outside(it is quite small) but food is excellent.

Just okay. The wood fired wings are good, but the pizza is just so-so. Something about the crust makes it seem pre-made and I dislike the crumbed sausage on the pizza.

YUM! Pizza. Awesome. Eggplant parm. Awesome I love the huge sauce cans that the pizza is placed on to give more table space. Waitstaff is always pleasant and the desserts. Awesome! The only downside are the lines to wait for a table, which shows how. Awesome they are that people do indeed wait, regularly.

It’s sad because used to really love eating here. However, the food quality left when the the restaurant changed hands a few years ago. The menu looks basically the same as it always has, but you can tell there is so much less love that goes into executing menu items. The pizza toppings used to be chopped up finely, which made Enricos(and the gladiator pizza) one of my favorites. Now everything is just thrown together in large chunks. Rather than the magical flavor that was consistently satisfying with every last bite, now I get one bite of chicken, one bite of broccoli, one bite of Gorgonzola, one bite of tomato, etc. Even worse, they charged me $ 9 for a glass of mediocre table wine, and the owner vacuumed right next to me while I was«enjoying» it. I don’t mind paying a little more for the experience of going out, but they were being loud and rude and clueless. And it was basically gas station wine. The staff also puts the stools upside down onto the tables to clean up well before closing(an extremely loud process that makes you feel like you’re about to be kicked out). I get it that this is a bar scene, but they are downright rude.

I gave Enricos one star a few years ago but things have improved. We have gone to Enricos 6 times in the last 3 months and every visit was great. We really enjoy sitting at the bar for a few cocktails and then having our meal at the bar. The bartenders are the most friendly we have run into for several years. They wait on you and treat you like you are family. Being Italian I don’t go to many Italian restaurants but Enricos is now my go to place in town.

Great food. Good prices. Very nice restaurant. Bread is so good. Portion sizes are huge. You will get a lot of food for the money. Bring your appetite

This is a great little place I discovered when in the area looking for lunch. They had a lot of different options for pizza and some great beers on tap. The food does take a while because its all made to order from scratch but its definitely worth it. I sat at the bar and ordered a pizza and it was pretty good when it came out! I wanted to take some home and save for later but it was too good to pass up so I ate the whole thing! Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.

Best pizza in Central Mass. Service was fast and friendly. Outstanding Sandwiches. There’s a reason the Boston Globe continues to recommend this place as a top 10 pizza destination worth the drive

Pfffft maybe this is what brick oven pizza tastes like in Sturbridge! As others have noted, the service was slow, but i thought that was because they were getting my pie ripping hot in their brick oven… I WASBAMBOOZLED!!! the pizza was alright, but the doughy crust tasted like it was baked at a friggin’ wimpy 350! Just boost your oven to 500 at home and you can make way better.

We tried the pizza last night after hearing great reviews. The pizza was terrible. We ordered a combination pizza, the toppings appeared to have gone through the food processor — tiny ground grains of meat and veggies. The sauce was non-existent, there was a three inch border of flat crust around the outer edge which lacked any flavor. All in all … disgusting and not worth the time driving there, money spent for the pizza… better off heading to Bertucci’s or Red Rose.

We ate here as out-of-towners. We ordered bacon and mushroom pizza and a meatball panini with fries. My assessment is this: the pizza sauce and toppings were very good, the cheese was good but I would have liked more, the crust needs work on both texture and flavor. Overall a decent slice but there are million of decent slices out there. The panini was decent, I think the bread needed some fat component like butter or olive oil before the grilling, the meatballs were good and plentiful, the cheese was good but again not enough. My main issue with the panini was that it was dry, this is a meatball parm type sandwich and there was very little sauce, hardly any. I asked the waitress to bring me a side of sauce which she quickly did. I opened the panini covered the meatballs with sauce and it made all the difference. The fries were very good, I asked for them extra crispy and that is how they came. If I owned this place I would have my pizza guy address the crust issue. With a good crust I think they could have something.

Terrible crust with awesome top. First time here so I hope this is just a bad day. We wanted to love this pizza. Stone fired and all. I really think there was some time problem with the crust but I’m not sure I want to chance another visit.

Came here for the second time thinking it would be better than my first experience about a year ago, but was much worse… We were seated right away because it was EMPTY, food came at a decent time, but EVERY plate ordered had something wrong. My chicken Parmesan had rubbery, that was swimming in boiled tomato sauce. Every plate was served with hard, burnt black garlic bread that didn’t even taste like garlic bread… And our waitress visited us only three time. Once to order, another to try to «fix» and recook my chicken, and the last to give us the bill. No refills, or asked how we were doing… We had to stop her while she passed to bring up the nasty chicken… As well as the bill because she ignored us the entire night. I do not recommend this place at all! :(

Food is great. Service sucks. They could care less and it’s annoying. Management is non-existent.

Yummy pizza and great antipasto salad! We also ordered fries which were pretty good and bread with dipping oil which was bland. It took awhile to get the pizza but everything else came out quickly. The staff was very attentive.

While there are quite a few pizza places much closer to home, Enrico’s is head and shoulders above them all! Thin crispy crust!.. Absolutely delicious… Prosciutto and buffalo Mozzarella… I’ve died and gone to pizza heaven!

Good, but slow. My mom got a panini, and I got the gluten-free florentine pizza. The pizza was good, though slightly off-menu, as nowhere do they state they offer anything gluten-free. The pizza dough is homemade, which is a nice change from most restaurants which buy their crusts frozen. The downside is that they also charge more for it($ 3) without ever mentioning so. My mother’s panini was very good. Service was slow, taking almost 30 minutes, so giving 4 stars.

Enrico’s was a great option for a larger group lunch on a Saturday. I had a Wormtown Be Hoppy on draft(in a big mug– score!!), and a portabella panini with delicious fries. Others at the table got the bruschetta, pizzas, and paninis. everyone left full and happy with their meals, and for under $ 20 per person including drinks and tip. Can’t beat it.

We got take out tonight. We ordered 2 pizzas wings and salade and as always everything was great. .the pizza had the perfect homemade sausage and pepperoni. .the second had fresh artichoke hearts and buffalo mozzarella. …the wings as always were perfectly spicy and tasty
