Someone needs to investigate what they call thir«eight-inch» medium. Mine was just over six inches and held only two meatballs. My son’s 12-inch sub had seven. Food was passible, which is more than I can say about Subway.

This place is right around the corner from my house and I’m almost embarrassed that I don’t go here more often. I think I would if I didn’t have to actually drive up into the shopping center it’s located in. First thing I want to say is that the atmosphere is very welcoming, bright and colorful. Place is very have TVs all over the place. The subs are pretty good also they steam the buns as well as the meat which makes the meat very tender. They have the basic size you can have such as well as a variety of additional options you can request. And they give you a homemade pickle. I think they make them in house. They have one of those coke machines that allows you to pick the flavor you want. I’ll definitely stop by this place more often I forgot how good their subs were

This is the worst FHS to visit. I have never ordered a medium combo and gotten a small drink at any other one and this one is notorious for doing this. Their soda fountain is ALWAYS out of several things and one of the main reasons we go is for the cherry lime-aid. Also Im not sure why they bother having two shelves for chips since they barely carry enough of a selection to have one shelf filled. For the money drive to one some where else.

Firehouse Subs isn’t bad. My kids like it. It’s better than Subway, but it is all in what you want. Different variety of subs here at Firehouse. I like the firefighter theme and think this place looks really nice. What I really want is to find a real sub restaurant like in Philly, NY or Boston. Something local, not a chain sandwich joint.

A really nice place, clean, & bright. A cheery atmosphere & it smells good! Prices are reasonable & the selection is pretty big. We’ve had numerous types of subs there. Always tasty. They have been out of lettuce the last 2 times I have been there even though there are salads on the menu??? Bummer! Also, they were out of unsweetened tea. They didn’t tell me until I had already paid. Can’t do sugar, so I got diet Coke, gross, & took it to my husband. Will go again. Just wish they would get their act together. Have never seen a coupon for Firehouse. The one at Chesapeake Square closed.

I generally don’t eat at Firehouse. Don’t get me wrong, their food is great, but because of that, it gets really crowded during lunch time which often results in a long wait. But when I went to this Firehouse for lunch this week, an employee apologized for the wait and offered me a free drink while I waited. I don’t want this employee to get in trouble for this, but I felt compelled to write a review because those are the types of employees that keep a business successful. Of course you can’t give out freebies to everyone, but sometimes when a customer is inconvenienced, a small token like that can be the difference between a positive experience and a negative one. It’s all about making the customer feel special, so that when someone mentions Firehouse, they have positive feelings and proclaim«I love Firehouse» instead of «Firehouse has good food but the wait is too long.» I just started work across the street at JFCOM, I’m part of the first 30 people to move into the building and we’ll be followed by hundereds of other government employees in the coming months. People will be asking us where they should go to lunch and I’ll reccommend this Firehouse, solely because of this employee. I hope the managers here recognize the effect good employees can have on their business.

Fast service, relatively inexpensive & tasty sub sandwiches. This seems to be one of the faster growing chains

Fire hydrants, firemen boots and coats and lots of steam and meat make up the décor of this restaurant. Coming in, you start smelling the hot sauces and meats being prepared into stuffed sandwiches. The servers are friendly. I only wish the cookies were larger and some side options were available.
