I’ve been here twice within the past two weeks and both times it’s been the same frustrating SLOWEST service EVER at the cash register. These guys have absolutely no personality or basic customer service skills. Monotone, unwelcoming voices and faces. Tonight it seems my cashier was FAR more interested in carrying a conversation with the other cashier which, I wouldn’t care so much if he was capable of multitasking but he wasn’t. Everytime his mouth opened, his hands would stop bagging my stuff. This was after I had switched lanes because the previous cashier couldn’t figure out how to change the receipt paper properly. I’m really not that impatient, but these people… They’re just SLOW and uninterested. Guess I’ll have to go to my next nearest store and hope it’s better because I love Harbor Freight.

Low quality Chines merchandise at a low price. Most items you buy will do the job. I wouldn’t buy power tools here. Only misc items and hand tools for home work. Nothing for professionals here. The solar panel products they sell here are junk. I wouldn’t buy it. It is the cheapest quality panels manufactured. Not worth the money. Better buy Mono — crystalline panels. Good Overall Store and staff.

This place has pretty good prices, but the real winner is that there is constantly advertisements for free stuff with and without purchase. In addition to the Free flashlights that Richard D. mentioned, in the last month I picked up a cheap screw driver set and a nice tape measure.

HF has all sorts of random stuff, automotive tools, parts, motorcycle accessories, home improvement stuff, fishing stuff, hunting stuff, bicycling stuff. HF it is what it is. cheap ass made in china tools, but the freebies are cool. My parents make it a hobby to come here for the free flashlights. They just go for a nice walk and come home with free flashlights in tow using the online printable coupons. If you need a throwaway tool for one job, this is your place. If you need to make a living with those tools, go get some commercial grade tools elsewhere. Stuff here costs about a fraction of what it would cost at Sears or Home Depot, but the old adage«you get what you pay for rings true». If you do buy their power tools, I would suggest buying the no hassle lifetime warranty. You break it, bring it in and they return it without any hassles. You’d still come out on top, although it is annoying to have to abandon your project to pick up another pos tool. I would give it 5 stars, but the stuff they sell here is such low quality junk, but we all know it!
