Still my favorite sandwich place in Suisun. Kids finally tried it and think it’s better than Subway. I like the fact it’s Alice right in front of you and the cheese also. Veggies always seem fresh and the family that owns it seem very nice. I’ll continue to come here for my sandwich need when I have them. Large is huge also.

Was in the area and wanted a cold sandwich. Thought about going to Raley’s, but figured with Port of Subs next door it would probably be a better option. Wrong. The place wasn’t dirty, but wasn’t the best looking either. The customer service wasn’t bad, the two women working there spoke to me. The sandwich on the other hand was pitiful. I ordered a medium #1 which had salami, provolone, pepperoni, and capicola. I watched her make my sandwich to make sure it was done right. I noticed how thin the bread was but figured that’s how they make their sandwiches. When I got home to eat it I noticed my fingers were touching the meat. I looked underneath and there was barely any bread. For $ 5.89 i could have gotten a better sandwhich at Raleys. Won’t be going back to this place again.

I usually love this place but today the lady was behind counter and she did a horrible job on the sandwich. Cut the cheese and meat so thin you could hardly taste it. They must be loosing money and cutting back. The guys do a much better job. Won’t go back if she is making sandwiches.

I use to come here regularly today was my first time eating here in about 5 months. It literally was the worst sandwich I’ve ever had! The French bread was old and tasteless, the salami was hard. The vegetables all looked expired and my sandwich was messy. I was only able to choke down half of it and then came home and made a pb&j. The restaurant did appear clean and the staff was friendly, they just did a poor job making my sandwich. I was the only person in there when I arrived while they were making my sandwich a few other women came in and the made me wait until they were done making their sandwiches to pay. Overall a terrible lunch experience

After 4pm any 12 inch is 5.99. Great bargain for the quality and the workers are always pleasant. They slice your meat and cheese to order, and this place kicks subways butt. This is a go to sandwich spot.

First time trying Port. We got a giant beef sub with toppings. We took it on the road with us, and i was worried about it getting soggy. Thankfully, not only was it not soggy but the flavor was really good. I would go back again if i am in town, and hope our local one is as good.

The older lady who is always there is not very welcoming to the customers. They are also very skimpy on their lettuce, tomatoes, etc. We won’t be going back. Jersey Mike’s is a little further away but DEFINITELYworth the drive.

Been coming here for years and before it use to easily be a 5 star rating place for sandwiches. Unfortunately, the service here is really hit or miss. Sometimes I can get the person to talk to me a little sometimes it seems like I’m butting into their business and they want me out. The sandwiches are great though! They give a lot of meat and I really just feel like there’s more taste in the sandwich compared to Subway. It’s one of those places I enjoy the food, but wish the establishment itself was a bit cleaner(take a look at the fire alarm above the counter I believe that cobweb has been there easily 3 years), and I also wish the people were a bit more friendlier and not mean mug me all the time because I didn’t leave a tip! I’ll keep coming back for the food though its that good!

Don’t come here. Not only are the sandwiches sub par but the people who work here are incredibly rude. The 1st woman who worked here was great but this new girl? Eww! They got mad when I said I wanted a particular tomato because the one she picked up to give me looked bad. What made it worse is they started to argue with me about why I should have that particular tomato. Seriously?! When I finally ate it wasn’t even good, I’d have been better off making my own sandwich at home. I’m never coming back here again and I highly recommend that you don’t either. PS: Also what another woman said, be careful because they will cheat you with«tax» on the sandwich. Or they will cheat you with false advertising.

I’m really starting to like this place. It is definitely a step up from Subway. The vegetables, meats, breads and cheeses are always fresh and the sandwiches taste excellent and wholesome. The first time I went to a Port of Subs was in Reno, NV inside the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino and the experience was good. So, I was happy to find this location near my work. I haven’t seen too many Port of Subs around. If you are hungry for a sub sandwich and you run across a Port of Subs, you should definitely give it a try. Their unique feature is they freshly slice the meats and cheeses right in front of you when you place your sandwich order and this freshness is abundant in each bite of their sandwiches.

Port of Subs makes my favorite sandwiches and I’m sad that this is the closest one to my house. The location leaves a little to be desired. The inside isn’t bad, but it’s located right next to a liquor store and the day that I went there was a drunk standing outside talking to himself. Didn’t make me feel too safe. I ordered an 8″ Medium Vegetarian Sandwich on Wheat Bread. Inside I put lettuce, smokey cheddar cheese, avocado, oil, vinegar and spices. The total was a little under $ 6.00 so not too bad for lunch. The lady who made my sandwich wasn’t very friendly, but she wasn’t mean either. She was just there and didn’t say much. I didn’t see any of the sanitation issues that some of the other reviewers mentioned, but I wasn’t really looking for it either. I would come back to this location again because it’s the only one in the area. It’s a little trek from Highway 80, but worth it.

If I could give this zero stars I would. They are unsanitary, do not eat here. Long story short, after wiping the counter with a rag, the chick wiped off the cutting knife with the same rag and then… cut my sandwich in half!!! I said WTF is wrong with you?! I said more, and then I walked out and right over to Raleys for sandwhich stuff to take home and make my own. My next step will be contacting the health department because that is some nasty shit!

I have heard a lot about Port of Subs from my son. We don’t have any near my home so I thought I would try this one as I was passing through town. As I waited I noticed that the meat slicer on the front counter was very dirty with meat particles. Not sure when the last time it was cleaned, but it didn’t look to be very recent. After the woman working behind the counter cashed the previous customer’s order she put gloves on without washing her hands first. Ugh. I ordered a small meatball and a small salami and cheese. She microwaved the meatball and the pizza sauce right then. Wow, I can do that at home. I later learned that there was only one crumbling meatball on the small 5″ sandwich. 1 meatball??? That’s it? The meatball was moist in some places and hard in other places. It tasted ok but still felt like a waste of money. The salami sandwich was ok, nothing special. They really need to work on their sanitary practices. Gloves are great, but not when you use dirty hands to put them on. Would never order the meatball again. Not sure I would even try Port of Subs again. I passed a Togo’s just down the street. Wish I had gone there. Can’t go wrong with a Togo’s sandwich.

Love Port of Subs! My fave place to grab a quick sammich! Their customer service is great. The location is also very clean and the hours are convenient. They cut the meat right in front of you and always tastes fresh! Check them out if you’re ever in the area!

This place gets a 5 star rating for over all experience. Not only taste buds. Since this is in my man’s stomping grounds, he has loved this place for forever and has ate here since he was a little kid. The ingredients are super fresh! They slice their meats and cheeses fresh for each sandwich which may have you wait a little longer, but it’s worth it compared to a subway or another franchise that worries more about speed then quality. The owner is super sweet! I think because of that she also has a good retention with her clients because a lot of ‘em are regulars! Like us, she’ll usually see us there in our work out clothes! 5 stars for quality and service!

Went there for a chicken ceasar wrap and I got chicken breast with lettuce thrown on top and ceasar dressing drowning the entire thing. I think they should research what a sandwich consists of before offering it on the menu, especially a staple like a ceasar wrap. Everything else was standard, it was fairly clean. My husband got a cold cut and he had no complaints.

Just like the rating says this place is as good as it gets! I’ve been going here for years and years with my family. The staff here is awesome. They are very polite, kind and we always have good conversations! I went here yesterday and bought sandwiches for the whole family. I got a small turkey, husband got a large turkey/roast beef, my parents shared a medium turkey/roast beef and my kids got two kids turkey meals. The meat is always good and fresh and the slice it right in front of you! Also all the condiments(lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, etc.) are always fresh! We ordered all the sandwiches on white bread and it was soft and good. :) For a small(5″), medium(8″), large(12″) sandwich and 2 kid meal sandwiches(4″) I paid $ 26. The price Is so right! Very cheap in my eyes. Will we be coming back again? DUH! You bet I will be coming back year after year for some awesome sandwiches!

I have loved port of subs since forever. Literally FOREVER! My parents tell me it must be imprinted in my DNA since that’s practically all my mom ate when she was pregnant with me 23 years ago. Port of subs started in Reno where I lived until 5 years ago. We don’t have one near Roseville which is so so so sad! I’m a sandwich junkie and nothing ever hits the spot like port of subs. When my dad comes to visit from Reno I always make him stop on his way out and bring me a large! I could eat these subs all day every day. Seriously. There is something about fresh baked bread that you just can’t beat. Meat that’s sliced in front of you and NOT pre-packaged like NASTYASSSUBWAY(Subway is foul!) and always fresh veggies! If only they were on this side of the bridge!(Martinez/Concord Area) Aside from my sentimental value I hold in this place(the first sandwich shop my dad took me to as a child in Reno), this is by far the best chain sub shop around. Subway? Nah. Togos? Sure. Port of Subs? YE-AH! Every time I go to this location, the employees are always super friendly. They are also very quick and I have never gone when there was a line. They slice the meat right in front of you, so it’s super fresh. They have some of the best sourdough bread– ever! I suggest a #5, the Turkey, Ham and Cheddar Cheese. Tons of fixings to choose from. Prices are worth it. They even have deals during certain times of the day. Love it! Owners, if you are reading this… open one in Concord! It would be a gold-mine!
