I love Café Medley, but I wish they had more gluten-free options! Then, I’d be able to experience more of their menu.

This was a favorite place but it closed just before Thanksgiving. I understand it will reopen soon with new ownership.

I always love a local place over a chain. I got a coffee and a Sweet Treat… so good! You can’t go wrong with a croissant, Nutella, and strawberries! The staff was very nice, too. I’ll definitely stop in again sometime before I go relax on the beach.

Love the atmosphere, chalk board menu looked great. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I would discourage anyone from any bagel sandwich. The bagel itself was like thick cardboard. Could hardly taste the contents of the sandwich because all you were chewing was dry, stale tasting bagel. Great place to grab a latte or cute branded tshirt… avoid the food.

After a nice walk on the beach we were looking for a bit of lunch and found Café Medley. We split a delicious California BLT then had some of their wonderful ice cream. They had a variety of sandwiches to choose from. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the activity on the street. A great place to have lunch!

It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t good. I got the Michelle’s breakfast with veggie sausage. The eggs, cheese and veggie patty were good, although I wish I hadn’t spent the extra money on getting avocado. It was obviously bad just from looking at it and the girl still gave it to me, not sure why. Almost $ 3 dollars for a circle k bottled water which is just laughable. And lastly got a dirty chai latte which pretty much has no flavor. I’d come back though to try out some of the other menu items, maybe I just caught them on an off day.

Above average breakfast food but they didn’t have a few things that we really wanted, including the Acia bowls. They were friendly and had good smoothies-I ordered the mango smoothie and loved it. The quiche was also really good.

I really like Café Medley, but the menu choices and the prices, ie, value, are lacking for me. Yesterday I paid $ 6.95 for toast with pear, goat cheese, and walnuts. Two pieces of toast, cut into 4’s. It sounds like it would be a very tasty breakfast, but the pear wasn’t ripe. Two slices of orange on the side. Can I get a fruit salad with my $ 7. breakfast entrée? Maybe combine those toasted walnuts with the goat cheese and make a spread? Or how about a ripe PEACH, which IS in season, goat cheese and pecans? Goat cheese and strawberry? SC has delicious produce– please use it! I shouldn’t have to spend over $ 11. to get an entrée and a beverage at breakfast. I’d like to see some options that are under $ 5. I really want to come back but I wish there was a chef at this place, driving more interesting and tasty food.

Recommend«Michelle’s breakfast» which turned out to be a rather tasty, healthy option, with egg whites, fruit and bacon! The café itself is quite small and there is some seating outside. Loving the use of technology whereby the receipt is emailed to you(save a tree, save the planet) after you’ve paid your bill.

Friendly staff, and great healthy options. Always quick even on weekends. Acai bowl is delicious.

This restaurant is the #1 spot for a great Carolina breakfast! The muffins are two thumbs up especially if they are chocolate! If you come at night, they have homemade ice cream to enjoy. Although it is small in size, there is indoor and outdoor seating to fit more people. We say this spot is great, so stop by next time you’re on Sullivan’s Island!

Cute café type place. We got there right before closing but took a chocolate filled puff pastry for the road. O. M. G. That pastry might be the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. I would have gone back for another, had it not been considerably out of the way.

I have been here many times. The coffee is always excellent(always) and I like the location because it is accessible by bicycle and near the beach. The breakfast sandwiches are fresh and healthy and include a side salad on the plate and fruit. My children ride their bikes to get ice cream here as well. The only time I take a break from going here is during the mid summer when the tourist crowd completely packs the entire Town. I plan to try the wine tasting soon.

I really liked this place because it was so chill. Very friendly service and you can sit inside or on their very comfortable porch. And wine is available too. Great place to chill before or after a trip to the beach.

Had a great toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese capers cucumbers and loads of lox. Side of iced coffee. Everything was quite delicious, the servers were friendly and happy as were the other patrons. Only negative-food took a long time to come out especially considering that we only ordered sandwiches. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Located next to the popular Fiery Ron’s BBQ.

One of my favorite places to go in all of charleston. We come here at least once a week for either coffee, breakfast(the egg white and tomato sandwich is AMAZING), the Wednesday wine tasting, wine in general, dessert… you cannot go wrong with anything here. On top of the amazing food and wine, the staff is on top of it, they are friendly, and truly want you to have a great experience. Drew, the owner, is very friendly and is very knowledgable on his wines, so ask away. The only negative is that sometimes it can get a little loud when people play the«house guitar». All in all, a solid five stars!

Very friendly service here. I only ordered an unsweetened iced tea, but I am definitely interested in trying out their Malibu vegan burger. They also have a nice porch area to enjoy the outdoors while you drink or eat.

They now have my heart. Glorious cheese danish — perfectly crispy and deliciously sweet cheesy. Latte with fluffy froth and an almost nutty taste to the espresso. Friendly baristas and free wifi. I’m a happy girl.

Delicious pastries and goodies, wine for drinks or bottles to purchase. Cute place that was about the only place we could get into for lunch the Saturday after July 4 on Sullivan’s Island. The food was quite good — it’s a tiny place and you order food at the counter and they bring it to you. I don’t think they expected much that day because when we were there, these 2 or 3 people did the best they could to take care of everyone. It’s a place to relax and take a bit of time Island style. Not perfect because they don’t serve decaf espresso, and unfortunately I waited in a VERY long line Sunday morning to find that out — but everything else was just great. Yummy pimento cheese too.
