Great restaurant with wonderful staff. I was a little upset with the hostess when she asked me if I had a reservation, I said no. She said we’ll let me check. Restaurant was empty. Other than that it’s a must try.

Had a nice lunch experience at Foundry. Lots of options to choose from for kids and adults. We ordered a variety of items that were great, and the best was the kids cheese pizzas. Very delicious. Friendly and knowledgable staff… they offered good suggestions for food and the local area as well.

In this area, you’re hard pressed to find a good moderately fancy restaurant. For the most part, everything in the area is a chain. So when I want good ambiance, a nice meal and a good wine selection, The Foundry Grill is a great option. Tucked up Provo canyon at Sundance resort, Foundry Grill is a high end restaurant but not 5 star dining. A good menu selection, they have everything from pizzas to fish to filet mignon. They have an extensive wine list and a full bar as well. The ambiance is my favorite part. It’s dimly lit, rustic and cozy. The service is very friendly and the servers know the menu and can make recommendations. We ordered the fried Brussels sprouts and they were perfect. 5 stars all the way for those. My husband ordered the short rib with yam purée and root vegetables. It was super tender but the root veggies were perhaps a little over cooked. I ordered the pork chop with cheddar grits and greens. I felt that the pork was a little tough. It was dry, just a little tough. Overall, the experience was really great and I will go back again and again.

Food was absolutely perfect. However, no quality of food is worth spending an hour and half, watching other people get their food and leave, all on the night of senior prom which as you can understand is on a tight schedule. On top of this feeling of being ignored, the inability to split a check for a group larger than 6 people due to «outdated systems» is unacceptable. A guaranteed gratuity of 19%(an extra $ 60 in our case) does NOT excuse or allow for the substandard and honestly nonexistent service. Senior prom was perfect, everything went to plan and was on schedule until we came here. Thanks for only giving us an hour to dance.

Incredible food! It is our to go place for anniversaries. The place is very romantic, quiet and very well decorated. Food is worth the price and we have always had an incredible experience! I would strongly recommend for diner date and family time :)

One of my very favorite lunch spots and a great place for groups. Appetizers are always fantastic, so don’t miss getting one of those! The menu rotates regularly so be sure to ask for specials and any seasonal highlights. I’ve always been very impressed by the sandwiches. Giving 4 stars because the pastas have always been a miss for me both in flavor and portion size. After lunch, head up the canyon for a beautiful view of Deer Creek Reservoir. PS — parking is the same as for the ski lift. Drive on in and stay to the right.

While I still recommend you eat here during your time at Sundance, I have been disappointed by some of the staff’s behavior. That has tainted my experience for now.

Went for Valentine’s Day brunch. Beautiful scenery. Food was very good. Many items to choose from. Amazing desserts. Cost was $ 34.00 per person. A bit spendy, but worth it for a special occasion. Some of our favorite dishes were the prime rib, mushroom ravioli, mussels, and the bacon. The chocolate mousse and strawberry crisp was awesome! Service was very good. We’ll definitely go back for special occasions. Make sure you make a reservation if you go. They can be very busy.

First time at the Foundry Grill. It was a good experience. We went for Christmas Eve Dinner, and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. I had the Short Ribs, and they were amazing. Tender and juicy, and the root vegetables were delicious. My wife had the filet, and it was cooked perfectly. She usually has to send it back to get it right, but not here. She loved her filet. My mother had the Trout. It is from a local farm, not fresh caught, but she loved it. My only complaint is the cost of the spritzers. $ 5 for a soda is a bit expensive for me, even though I’m from Chicago and everything is expensive. We had the Skillet Cookie for dessert, and it was phenomenal. Chewy and warm. The cookie with the Ice Cream on top really hit the spot. Everything, including our server Patrick, as excellent. He even gave my mom a free refill on her spritzer. It was a great experience.

It’s time to update the review. Yet again, staff and focus changes. This time all seems for the better. I’ve been back a half dozen times since the last review for both business and personal dining. The food is more consistently very good and the service on point. Well deserving of a star upgrade.

This is one of my favorite restaurants – has been for years. Robert Redford stopped by our table twice during our many visits. The setting is natural, relaxing, and stunning. It’s usually cool, even in the summer at night, so bring a sweater. The menu changes frequently based on current fresh foods. It’s best to make reservations. Get there early to walk around the resort or to shop. It’s all wonderful!

Beautiful fall afternoon spent at Sundance. Our lunch was exceptional and service excellent. We had the steak and fries. I had the sweet potato fries with mine. Sitting outside on the patio was so fun. Perfect for a romantic date! The atmosphere at the Sundance resort is so beautiful. So much to see and do. Zip lines, biking, hiking and taking photos are some of the many things you can do in the fall. Love this place.

My favorite part of this was desert, but I’ll get to that in a bit. We were finally able to get our timing right to have lunch here today and wow it was amazing. Both my fiancée and I had the Steak & Frites($ 22) and it was perfect. My steak was a perfectly prepared medium rare as requested and the fries were delicious. My fiancée’s steak was exactly as medium as she likes it and she enjoyed the option of sweet potato fries. We dined outdoors on the deck and it was the perfect place to enjoy our meal. We decided to check out the desert menu and right there was my favorite desert, Crème Brulee($ 6). Now I’m a big fan of this desert and I order it everywhere I see it, so I’m a bit of a aficionado. I was a bit concerned when it came out as it had a large amount of stuff on top, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries covered the top of the dish along with a couple cookies. This is usually a sign that they are masking a inferior version, however i am happy to report that nothing could be further from the truth. The caramelized top was good, if a little thick and the flavor, texture, and temperature of the custard itself was perfect. It was easily the best crème brûlée I have had in Utah. When you add in that our server was fantastic, it rounded out a great dining experience.

I must admit — I love this place. We decided to drive out to Sundance pretty last minute from Park City. We took the ski lift as far as it was go — SO worth it! It was incredible. — Anyway, we had dinner at The Foundry after walking the gorgeous, retreat-vibe grounds and explored a little bit. I would love to rent a cabin out there! Anyway… their food was fantastic. My husband got the burger and I got the pizza — seriously divine. We had some wine — I had a glass of the Predator which I really enjoyed. Our waitress was really friendly and even noticed that it was my birthday when she checked my ID! We sat on the patio — highly recommended when the weather is nice. The ambience was great — lots of people talking and eating with the sound of the creek nearby. It was so lovely! Another thing I love — they had lots of history, photos and articles along the walls to the bathroom. So fun to read!

What’s not to love about Sundance? Everything about it is 5 stars including their dining. I have grown up eating at Sundance my whole life and it never disappoints! Everything on the menu is awesome whether you’re going for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Dined here twice for dinner and once for breakfast during a stay at the Sundance resort. We loved every meal and the service and ambiance were great! The ahi tuna and scallops are amazing appetizers. If you have room, the sweet potato fries are amazing but huuuuuge! We were too stuffed to try dessert but they looked awesome. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Sundance Resort, a place to go, even if only to try the zipline. :-) While you are there is worth trying the restaurant, very good service, excellent food and very nice location. Worth going back.

After spending a whole morning wandered around the resort, this is the perfect place to rest my feet and have some good food. Love the ambiance and interior design. My friend and I were planning to sit outdoor, however they were full at that moment, so we decided to go inside instead of a 30 minutes wait. I am really glad we did that because I really love the decorations inside. Most of the furnitures were made of wood and I am a huge fan of wood furniture. It also has a whole wall decorated with tools such as axe, hammer, saw, etc. I think it’s super cool. As for the food, I started with their soup of the day-white pine soup with chicken. It was delicious. It’s more like a vegetables soup. I really like how the white pine has given the soup an extra flavor of awesomeness. For entrée, we took our server’s recommendation and ordered penne pasta and steak sandwich. The pasta could be a little plain at first, but once you mix in the goat cheese, the flavor would start kicking in. Their goat cheese is quite powerful, so those who are not a big fan of goat cheese should go for something else. Don’t blame me if you don’t like the pasta. You have been warned! We both think the steak sandwich was more like a Japanese sandwich than an American sandwich. Though the meat was a bit overcooked, we still think it’s good, especially with the caramelized onions and baguette. I have to mention their bread, I’ll hate myself if I didn’t recommend them to you guys. Their bread was one of the best I’ve ever had. Our server brought us a plate of cheese bread after my soup, we already fell in love with the bread at that minute since it was crispy outside but soft and warm inside, and than the sandwich came in, we couldn’t resist but found ourselves keep sticking our fingers to the cheese bread and sandwich and forgot about the rest of the food. We really want to try their desserts, but we were too full after all those bread. So… till next time.

I had lunch here and absolutely loved it. The ambiance, the service, and the food were all fantastic and this place is a real gem. I was staying in Park City and just visited Sundance for the day and am very happy to report it was worth the trip. I started with a Mountain Cooler($ 5) — Ginger Beer, Agave Nectar, Lime, Fresh Mint that was spot on delicious. The bread and butter were also extremely high quality and tasty. There are lots of things on the menu that looked good, so I had a hard time deciding, but ultimately went with the Salmon fish sandwich($ 16) — Cucumber, Sprouts, Tomato, Tartar Sauce, on Ciabatta that was one of the best I have ever had. In fact, even the french fries were delicious. I was too full for desert, but wish I tried the Dirt Cup($ 6) — Chocolate Mousse, Oreo Crumbs, Fudge Sauce. If you see Bobby(aka Robert Redford) tell him that this place rocks!
