This is one of the best bars I’ve been to, I love the atmosphere people are friendly and funny, 5 stars! Plus I had one of the best margaritas ever! The bar tender Jenny is freaking dope! She always has snacks, I love this bar and plan on being here every Tuesday night!

Best dang bar dive within 55 miles located foot step from the sand … The atmosphere is by far the happiest & chill pub around … All the locals ride there bikes for cheap beer or a strong cocktail. It’s family owned for over 36 years i dig that … I love that about the place … The bartenders are pretty easy on the as well .
Jenny whom works Sunday– Wednesday nights is the fave by all the locals!!! The others girls are pretty friendly also !!! If you’re looking for a place to wine down by a fire or just shoot some pool with old buddies or dance the night away, you’ve found it !!! Turcs… Sorry no food service. Who needs it when you’re drinking good beer !!! Lol

A Sunset Beach hidden Gem… this place is 5 stars for real people. The bartenders pour them strong and right!
If a cute Burnette is working make sure its Jenni or Hanna.
If they are working be prepared for a good time. two sweethearts that will speak the truth about anything you want to talk about. And they will make you feel at home.
I have lived in this area off and on for 4 years and it’s always my go to bar.

The Bartenders here are great! Very friendly, they offer quick service, and always make you feel so welcome!
First time I came in here my friend and I mentioned how much we loved Angry Orchards. The next time we came guess what they had? Yup, Angry Orchards! The owner Bob obviously aims to please his customers, and I’ve been a regular customer ever since!
They have happy hour deals every day, all day! Drinks are well made and inexpensive.

Walked into this place two weeks ago with a friend around 9PM on a Friday night. First thing we notice as we enter is a squad car staked-​out across the street with the cops’ eyes laser-​beam-​focused on Turcs. Ruh-​roh!
To describe the interior of Turcs, imagine yourself inside a filthy Port-​A-​Potty. Now imagine that space multiplied by… eight? Nine? That is the size of this place, and in addition to being so small, it is noticeably, awkwardly arranged, like the shape of a capital «K». This building looks like it is straight out of the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Friend ordered a cheap beer and I ordered the nightly special: a screwdriver, which tasted like a hospital. Bartender was pissy that friend and I didn’t order IMMEDIATELY despite the bar being extremely slow at the time.
People are rating this bar highly because of its cute bartenders. To those reviewers: you live in Orange County, California. If you want to see beautiful women, literally go outside and just look around. Nothing special about that here.
Don’t let the giant Jenga blocks that the drunks are playing with near the front door fall over onto your toes and break them.

Well … I’m new in the neighbourhood. But I know a lot people because I’ve lived here all my life … My husband and I went in on a Friday night sitting at the bar … The bartender Andee (female) had a bar back that was very nice she was getting everyone beers but said sorry I can’t pour alcohol … Waited a half hour watched her serve all the people that were way behind us in order form. So I finally said something to her … Hey Hun can we get me a drink it’s been well over 45 minutes … Her bar back had taken a break and was back on and we still hadn’t been served … She flew off the handle yelling… I’m serving the locals first!!! I’m like wow ok. I think I’m local I live ten steps away … Then my husband just wanted to make peace and gave her a twenty dollar tip that she threw back at us ?! She was So RUDE! Then last night went in with a friend and I was on the way out … she was there off shift and harassed me when I was leaving saying oh there’s the other one?! I’m like the other one what? If you don’t serve drinks to paying customers because you’re a hater … You really shouldn’t be working with the public! My wife just recently in this place they refused here service a turned to walk out and was shoved from behind her head way lying on PCH they are awful people and there have been people that have gotten murdered and shot at … The owner does zero about it.

Best place in Sunset. If you don’t want to do Main Street or wind up in some shithole like the Goat in Newport, or do the madness on 2^nd street… Turcs is the place to go. Chill, stiff drinks and more of a local spot… One of the few things I miss in the HB area.

Local drunk Oggie was a real douche and got us to leave by calling us queers and threatening us. Bad bar never going back.

Bartender reached out to me to clear up the situation and make it right. Really appreciate that and will give this place another shot.

The bar has it locals just like any other bar. Weird thing was the center columns that hold up the ceiling smell like gasoline. A bit strange. The service was good considering there were only 2 bar tenders who were also the bar backs. Plus it was busy and they held their own. Kudo’s to the great women behind the bar slinging the alcohol!

This is my all time favorite bar to go to, period. It has a super cool laidback atmosphere with several fish tanks, fireplaces, pool tables and enclosed smoking area to chill at. Jenny V and Andi typically hold down the bar Friday-​Tuesday 7– Close. I would definitely go any of those days if your looking for extra stiff drinks and über friendly service. (DONT FORGET TO TIP) Overall the vibe is just right, the locals are all cool, some of the girls even bring in cookies etc. If I could ask for one thing it would be to bring in some craft beer on tap or maybe a some other top shelf Whisky.

One of the many stops on me and my friends Sunset Beach beach crawl. I actually don’t even remember this place but apparently we stopped by for a drink and a check in so I’m gonna give it 5 stars! Its always a good time if you don’t remember right?

This bar made me feel utterly depressed. The ambience is tinged with anxiety as onlookers witness drunken debauchery on behalf of the 50+ crowd. Dives are my favorite place to relax and unwind, perhaps play some pool, but this was not a relaxing evening at Turcs.
The bartender was the only spot of sunlight in the joint as she was friendly, prompt and made good stiff drinks.

Yep… it’s a small local dive bar. I like it though, and here’s why you should like it too:
1. You never have to wait long for a drink!
2. The fireplace near the bar is a cozy place to sit with friends
3. There are always local newspapers sitting in a pile waiting to be read. The police report section always provides laughs as you read about the «problems» of small local beach communities. ie, strange animal reported in Rossmoor stalking home, turned out to be a cat.
4. Pool tables in the back to to impress others or embarrass yourself
5. There’s always Harbor House next door for late night munchies

This place smells like pee. There are only a few bar stools. They do not have beer on tap, only in bottles, Three pool tables is good, but no TV with sports… Its like walking back into a 1975 wood paneled basement… the pool room has SIX different wall finishes. It was all too much and not in the good way, I am glad I stopped in cause now I know to go somewhere else.

I love this bar. Laidback atmosphere, pretty ladies serving up well-​poured cocktails, friendly locals running a poll tourney. Yea, prey great.
