Been going to mangos for years. But the service has gotten poor over time. They are never open… They make a great Cuban sandwich but the quantity of meat and the sandwich has gone down… I know times are hard so I asked my wife to order extra meat on the sandwich and view the picture does this look like extra meat? When I called they gave me a line of BS of how this is twice the meat and never say ok what can we do to fix it. Poor customer service. I WILLNEVERGOBACKORGIVETHEMMYMONEY. POORSERVICE… POORCUSTOMERSERVICE. PLACELOOKSLIKE A HOLEINTHEWALL. Coke machine don’t work. They need to clean the place…

Driving the girlfriend to meet her kids for lunch at school the Friday before Mother’s day in Buford, just hoping for a decent place to eat… and what are the odds that I stumble upon probably some of the best unexpected food I’ve had in a while? I got there a few minutes after their closing time for lunch, but they had no issues staying open. I kept it simple — just a Cuban sandwich, rice, and black beans. I was amazed at how fresh and well balanced the sandwich was. The rice and beans were perfectly cooked, and their texture was wonderful; a complete compliment to the sandwich. The owner was also experimenting with some sauces, and he made a garlic sauce that was out of this world. We ended up talking for a good 30 minutes about everything from the Marines to other food and wine(can’t wait until they can serve Sangria). It was just a great lunch experience that really turned an otherwise rough day around, with great food and a welcoming family environment. I am looking forward to getting back up that way to try some of the other menu items so I can have more to post on! Thanks guys!

The food was good but the service is terrible. There was one other table with customers. The waitress was on the phone when she should have been taking care of her customers. There was another girl there doing nothing. Bad service will kill this restaurant. I hope they can fix the service problem.

Great food. Slightly slow but hey I think I only one guy was back there. The food was awesome. Loved the cuban sandwich. Black beans PERFECTO. And I tried my friends’s Ropa Veija and totally wished I would of gotten that. Not too bad. Cuban Sandwich lunchtime price is 6.99 and that includes a side of black beans and rice(or fries). But it was a little slow… I told her we were in a hurry so we got our food before the other table that came in right before us. It took a while to bring our menus too. THEFOODWASGREAT!

Terrible Cuban. Owner thinks it’s great. Any other person who knows good Cuban cuisine will be underwhelmed. There is better Cuban within a few miles.

Had the shredded beef lunch and plantains app. the entire time I was sitting there I could hear the«chef» punching timers into the microwave then hear the microwave beep to say it was done. The plantains tasted like they’d been fried first, then reheated in the micro. Same for the beef. The fries were probably actually fried. The flavor of the beef was actually pretty good, but if I wanted my food nuked, I’d eat leftovers. I wonder if there’s a single pot or pan in the kitchen. Only one waitress on duty for lunch and while there was never a long wait for anything, do expect to wait a little as she’s running around trying to wait on and serve the entire place. Gave it 2 stars for the flavor of the food, but can’t give any more than that when the entire meal was reheated in a microwave.(I could hear Gordon Ramsey screaming and cursing about using the micro so much lol) PS They do not have any wifi, but I was able to pick up a signal from a nearby business

I can’t comment on the food because we never got any. Only attitude from them. We came here at 12:10. There were two tables ahead of us. One of which was finishing their food. There is only one server. Its definitely feels like family owned place. She came around and took our drink orders. We were ready to order. She made sure to tell us we’d have to wait. I assumed a wait was one table ahead. Possibly one call in order. Either way. I was thinking the wait is about 20 minutes for sandwhiches, not an hour plus. Our group of 6 order sandwiches with either fries or rice and beans. Pass by 30 minutes. The restaurant began to fill up. Our waters never came. Pass by another 10 minutes, not 12:50. No water came. I assumed by now our food should atleast be almost done. I came up to ask for our food to go. Our lunch break was almost over. I got alot of attitude. The chef calling me Bro tell me he was about to start it and that next time I should call my order ahead of time. Tried stuffing a menu in m y face while he did it. I’m not coming back. 45 minuets just to start sandwiches? Either get another chef or let me know that its going to be at least an hour before we’ll get sandwiches. Ended up leaving because I had to get back for class. I will not be coming back. It seems like there is a following here. Attitude alone, will keep me away from here. I’d suggest trying another cuban restaurant. There are plenty.
