I have eaten here twice since I moved to the area. The first time I waited over an hour for my pizza(they originally told me 45 minutes) but okay the pizza we got was good. Last night we decided to try the Chicago style buffalo chicken pizza and it was almost inedible — drenched in buffalo sauce and the pizza was dry. Hard to say maybe the worst I’ve ever had. I am sure I will try them again at some point but I am in no rush… I will stick to the regular pizzas instead of trying anything on their«gourmet» section. The fries are just OK and the garlic knots I guess are worth it for just a buck.

The pizza is very delicious and the Stromboli is superb. The service was great and very friendly too. Totally recommend this restaurant if you are looking for New York Style pizza and Stromboli.

Pizza(NY and Deep-dish) is fantastic, and the garlic knots are fantastic! The cheesesteaks here are also really good.

Very disappointed. Read the reviews online and decided to try this shop. Looked at the menu online and decided to order two 17″ square pizzas. Got all the way home and opened the box to discover that both pizzas were Sicilian style. When I called the store to inquire about this, the person on the other end of the phone could care less. Lost a customer for life! SpannMan

First time I got a cheese-steak sub and it was just OK. Went back a week later and they got my pizza order wrong. I was in a rush and couldn’t wait for them to make a new one. Will try them again some other time and hopefully update with a better rating.

I just finished my cheesesteak with everything and had to write this review before I even left. It was THEBEST cheesesteak I’ve ever eaten and I grew up near Philly! The staff was awesome too. Six stars!

We tried the cheese pizza, chicken calzone, and garlic knots. Everything was great! You can’t go wrong with the garlic knots being 5 for $ 1. The service was great too. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Always had good food here. Very authentic Italian pies and subs. I usually get a salad and they are great! Very fresh and good size. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because I do think they are a little pricey. But if you don’t mind paying a little more for good food, then it shouldn’t be a problem.

Decent pizza and subs. Garlic knots are really tasty. Really busy on Fri/Sat nights, expect to wait on your food. Pricing is in line with other sub and pizza shops in the area.

Wow, shocked at all the poor reviews. Sure the help are sometimes surly, but who CARES? It’s the BEST pizza around here and I’m a picky Italian chick from Jersey. Definitely authentic NY style pizza. Fantastic! I personally like the people there. They’re real…

Yes you better have thick skin sometimes if you want to order food here. I don’t go to franks to cure my emotional instability. I go to Franks to eat good food. The rice balls are a revelation. garlic knots of course. Marinara to die for(as long as you like garlic) Just go and don’t take things so personally

I love the pie and subs at Frank’s! I have been getting them for the last 15 years and I have never had a bad meal there or carry out order there. The garlic knots are awesome also. Everyone who works there is great also. Very friendly in a real way. Oddly enough, I have never had a pasta dish there. That will be next on my list.

I’ve gone here since 2000 when we moved to the area. They know my family and we have tried nearly everything on the menu. We are from New York and miss the good Italian food. This place is straight out of New York, the real deal. Yes, it can be slow service on a Friday night but the food is usually excellent. It is usually pretty cheap for most of the food but the pizza is more expensive than Dominos. However, the quality is better.

Best pizza in Eldersburg! We’ve been looking for a good pizza since Pap Pap’s closed. This is it. We had a half pepperoni, half sausage and onions. The sausage is ground, not the little sausage balls. It was delicious. We now have a new go-to pizza joint.

I have been coming to Frank’s for 15 years. It literally has not changed. The décor and booths are I believe the exact same. The staff is also the exact same(maybe one or two new people.) It’s a family owned business. I have always loved Frank’s Pizza. When you go there every week with your family(well we used to go every week after church, now I only get to go about twice a year), they get to know you and your order. Yes, the booths normally are not very clean… I just wipe it off myself before I sit down. They are normally not super friendly when you place your order… but the food really is good. The chicken parmesan is very good– thin cuts of chicken cooked well and the sauce is good. The pizza is some of the best I’ve ever had. I really like their salad dressing as well(Although their lettuce and the rest of the salad is not very good). Their subs are good… garlic knots are VERY good. Long story short, food is good, service and cleanliness probably not their strongest attributes but I think most of their orders have to be take out.

I tried this place out based on recommendations of a good slice in the area. I came in during peak lunch hours and it was completely empty. I should have taken that as a sign. There was no one behind the counter either. I went to recheck to see if this place was open, and indeed it was. So, since I was starving and wanted to try it out, I waited till someone came out to help me. Five minutes later, an older gentleman, who I learned was the owner, walked out and stared at me. He didn’t even bother to greet the only customer in his establishment. He was super grumpy pants as I was placing my order. He grunted questions at me.(Caveman-style: serving pizza slices, so easy a caveman can do it). When I finally got my slices, the pizza was oily, small, and greasy and not that great. The only upside was that they were decently priced @1.90 per slice. Definitely avoid this place, I would rather spend my $ 3.80+tax on McDs than this place. Even they have better customer service than this grunting owner.
