Very good food, good prices, and the quality is always the same. Casual comfortable atmosphere. BESTFRIEDPICKLES I’ve ever had.

Love this place! Very laid-back atmosphere, genuinely nice staff, great food, excellent beer selection and wicked spiked milkshakes(get the Mean Bean– it’s fabulous!) There’s never a wait here, yet it’s one of the best deals in town. A true gem!

We wanted to try something new and decided that this was a good choice. This place is amazing! Our server Katie was on her A game tonight. She was very attentive and friendly, other people should take a cue from her. My husband ordered the Mahi Mahi sandwich and he said the flavor was outstanding. I had the chicken cutlet club, everything was very tasty. I especially loved my chocolate lava shake. The atmosphere was very nice, great music that wasn’t too loud, the décor was cute. We will be returning to try the rest of the menu.

I must say, I was really surprised by this place. I havnt lived in the area long, so I’d never heard of it, but I drive by it every time I go grocery shopping. Anyways, I was starving on a Friday night and did not want to deal with going far, so we gave this place a try. From the outside I was kind of expecting Applebee’s type stuff, but this is way better. It’s your normal American bar type food, but everything has that fresh homemade feel to it. Service was good.

Been here before. Enjoyed it last time but lunch today was a bit disappointing. The fish was soggy and overcooked and I thought both the fish and the chips were from the freezer. Got the wrong drink from my waitress. The coleslaw was inedible and I think the mayonnaise might have been off but whatever that taste was, I never want to taste it again. No rolls and butter either. Pretty feeble stuff. I won’t be returning anytime soon and definitely not recommending. Shame! It was so much better a few months ago but their standards have really slipped.

I am not one for chains or cheesy theme restaurants filled with tchotchkes, but this place got me. I begrudgingly went along with others for a lunch spot, and after my 4th visit I had to admit its good! I’m happy to keep going back! Every lunch I have had has been great. The tomato soup and grilled cheese are crazy rich, cheesy and yummy(almost too salty) The Bergers and fries are good also!

Melissa was the best!!! unbelievable service, thank you Melissa!!! One issue, the crinkle cut fries were sub par… like freezer burnt from the grocery store… either change suppliers or try the one’s Devaneys in Weedsport serves… they are the best around !!!

Overpriced, sub-par attempt at «pub food.» We had a tiny portion of avocado dip with very salty tortilla chips, salty fish tacos, sweet potato fries that were salty, sweet, limp, and soggy at the same time. Our waitress was extremely friendly and pleasant, but we should have gone anywhere else.

Another restaurant opened by the owners of Tullys, Good Buddys is settled on the main strip of W. Genesee heading into Camillus. After learning it was opening under the Tullys umbrella, with Tullys and Copper Tops success, I was excited to try it. I’ve been about 3 times, and had different experiences. The first time, my wife and I went with another couple friends of ours. Like Tullys, there’s a lot to take in visually. Signs plaster every space on the walls, but besides that, it’s a nice, clean restaurant. Nice, large bar right in the middle. Our server was very nice. Seemed a tad overwhelmed, but very nice. Our friends had a burger and a veggie burger, while my wife ordered a burger and I had their Buffalo Mac and cheese. I love anything buffalo, and this did not disappoint. Delicious mac and cheese topped with chicken slathered in buffalo sauce. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers as well. I also went for a Monkey Bread Milkshake. I was VERY excited for this and was looking forward to it, as I love monkey bread. It was good. It wasn’t amazing, not what I expected it to be, but it was tasty. My wife and I have gone a couple times since and had not as good experiences. Disappointing dishes one time, terrible service another. Our server took FOREVER to bring us anything, because we watched her go right outside our window we were sat at to take several very long smoke breaks. We felt prices were fair. Comparable to anything else in the area. We did NOT have drinks any of the times we went, so we can’t comment on that and may be where the prices start to rise. They’re worth giving a try. We’ll probably go again at some point. They have all the potential to be a great staple restaurant, but still have a long way to go to catch up to the other restaurants under its umbrella.

My husband and I visited tonight for our second time and it was just as good as we remembered. I ordered a Key Largo(alcoholic) shake and it was so yummy that my husband ordered one also. Great food, good drinks and friendly waitress(Allison)!

Went with my family for lunch, my brother and I ordered burgers. He ordered his medium and I ordered mine medium rare. His came out a perfect medium and mine came out well done. When asked for a replacement my server told me that they were unable to serve burgers under medium well. The replacement came out slightly over medium again. I didn’t want to ask for a second replacement as the server already seemed annoyed. Needless to say I won’t be back for another burger.

Parking: Ample off street parking available. Restrooms: Clean and presentable. Service/Food: The waitstaff was extremely friendly and very helpful with menu suggestions, etc. The meal was served quickly and the waitress checked back often to make sure our drinks were full and everything was going well. We only had apps and drinks on this visit, but on previous visits the food has always been delicious and plentiful.

Awesome burgers and always changing the menu and special. Inexpensive also:) Sunday’s they have a buddys garbage plate that is out of this world. Also tons of beers on tap and great happy hour specials. Especially Sunday where there is an open to close happy hour

I’ve been to Good Buddys several times. Enjoyed it every time. The kettle chip app is our favorite. Service is always good, hostess seat quickly and a manager has visited our table on every visit. I’ve visited during the week, not weekends.

Was apprehensive about trying this place due to a bad experience mentioned by one of my coworkers, but i must say my experience was pleasant and will be back. Atmosphere: Harry Potter esque… Old London style bar, large 90 degree bar with floor to ceiling wood with lots of molding. Very nice! Dining area was very compartmentalized with heavy décor, lots of pictures and continues the European theme. Food: Maybe its just me but i see this place as bar first, food second. I feel its a place to drink and grab an appetizer or a sandwich to compliment your great drink. I can always tell a good bar by a drink as simple as a bloody mary. They did it right! Three olives vodka with a spicy kick and an olive… And something different, a pickle. That was probably the most important pickle ive ever eaten because it changed how i will forever drink my bloody marys from now on. The slight bit of pickle flavor was amazing in that drink. I accompanied it with a jalapeño chicken dip which was kinda like a buffalo chicken wing dip but with fresh jalapeños, cream cheese some other ingredients and topped with pico de gallo. And with homemade tortilla chips. Very good app! I will be back. Bartenders: very friendly, attentive and seem to have group of regulars that they spent the most time with. There is a beautiful mulatto server there for guys wanting to know what the«scenery» is like. I can call it 4 out of 5 pretty comfortably

First visit this past Saturday, early evening. We sat at the bar. The décor is Disney-esque. Signage everywhere. A lot to take in visually. A lot of attention to detail. We shared the Philly egg rolls, pass. Not a fan. I had a decent burger that was cooked MW but still flavorful and juicy. The patty was small and the fries– terrible. Crinkle cut, frozen, out of a bag. Why? Two female bartenders, one kind of plain a Jane the other with her makeup and cleavage and attitude was a tad annoying and flighty. Nice taps with decent selections but cocktails are $$$. For what we had our tab was $ 70.

I actually liked it here even though it’s nothing out of the ordinary. The waitress had no experience but she did an ok job and was nice. My friend ordered Philly cheese steak egg rolls, they looked good and they said they were good. I had a bacon Blue cheese burger and fries with a Cup of cheese sauce on the side. It appears to be a processed cheese sauce but it is not so don’t believe the other reviews. It clearly tastes like melted cheddar cheeses and its very good. The Crinkle Cut Fries were Good too, not gourmet but whatever, it’s a burger joint. Burger was good too, and I ate the whole Thing even though I was going to explode. I would like to go back and try a different burger. I would like the option to order my burger medium rare.

I will definitely NOT be returning to Good Buddy’s pub when I come home to see my family. I should note that the staff was great and our server was very attentive and friendly, and she was most certainly the highlight of our visit. The room was cute and well decorated as well, but that’s as far as my positive thoughts can take me. I came with my family and we ordered a variety of entrees including salads, sandwiches and wings. We all were disappointed and very turned off by our food. Our salads were not fresh. The greens were soggy, floppy, and they reminded me of the greens you consider eating at the bottom of your fridge and then decide they’re no good and eat crackers instead. Not OK. They were also topped with tomatoes that were porous, pale, flavorless, and generally gross. There was«melted» cheese on top, but it was hardly worth the claim, and it looked congealed and yucky. To top it off, they were small salads(not that we wanted more of it), but for over $ 7, it should be bigger than a side salad. Fresh ingredients would help, too. I was also really grossed out by my cheddar waffle fries and I was REALLY looking forward to them. I was expecting real shredded cheese to be melted on top of fries, ya know, cause I was in a restaurant, but instead they were doused in processed goo. Also not OK. The sandwich came with many complaints, including that it appeared to be topped with deli meat rather than fresh roasted meat — clearly I’m not expert on all things meat, but I believe it based on what I saw. The breading on the wings was also apparently disappointing, even to a kid who licked up the processed cheese goo when I couldn’t bear to eat. This is certainly not a place we will recommend to friends, and I’m worried that as a new business they won’t make it with food like this.
