Although there were no customers in the store, the server refused to sell me 6 cinnabons because if she sold them to me and another customer came in they would not have enough to sell to them. What kind of logic is that? Finally, I asked to speak to her manager. The manager told me the same thing. I left with no cinnabons. They lost a paying customer because there might be another one. Rediculous… I have not been back to a Cinnabon since & will tell this story to anyone who will listen.

It had been several years since I had visited or consumed a Cinnabon, and recently the time had come. The idea was to get one of these ridiculously sugary sweet rolls, stick a few small candles in it and viola: instant single serving birthday ‘cake’. Unfortunately this meant venturing inside the Tacoma Mall to do so– and while the Cinnabon product is indeed delicious, I’m not sure that it’s worth the price(about $ 4 each) and effort to get at ‘em. I found it hard to believe, but there was actually a line to order when I arrived on a weekday evening– at a place that only sells a few variations of the same dessert product?! Presentation was sloppy, too– I had to rearrange and smooth the roll a bit to make it more presentable for a birthday celebration. I suppose it’s really a good thing that these places aren’t more ubiquitous, however– each roll is probably about as bad for you as one of those deep-fried sticks of butter at the fair! Mmm… deep-fried butter…

Worse Cinnabon I’ve ever had! I don’t even know where she pulled this one from. If you want a fresh one don’t ask for it to go. Now that I think about it there were 3 pecan Cinnabons on display and when we walked away they were still there. But I had no idea I was going to get home to one that is dry, looks a couple days old with all the toppings dumped on it. Sad I had to spend so much money for something I dumped in the compost bin. I’ll stick to Starbucks morning buns.
