I just love their cookies and cream doughnuts! Perfect way to start your day. Even though I’ll eat them any time of the day. I also enjoy watching them make the fresh ones. It’s pretty cool learning how they make them.

This is always mine and my daughter’s go to spot for a quick pick me up before we go shopping, it has almost become a sort of tradition for us. We each pick one and split a bottle of milk and then go on with our day. I think they have a great selection, I love their specialty donuts. My only con, and the reason I can’t give them five stars is I have noticed the friendliness of the employees has really gone downhill since we first started coming here. For example, I don’t think the lady that helped us today smiled one time. We were just another customer, no hi how are you, nothing, just get your donut and move along… I don’t like that feeling. I have never had an issue with the actual donuts, but the customer service definitely leaves something to be desired.

5−24−16 approx time @ 7:14am. Bought two orginal glazed donuts and got them in a tiny box. It seems they pre packaged this earlier which equates to stale. Either the drive thru girl was lazy to get me a fresh donuts since she has to get them from the counter and place them into a small plastic bag. So if you ever get a two donuts in a small box ask for fresh donuts. i mean you paid for fresh donuts not stale ones.

Literally drive by this place multiple times a day and have only seen the hot light on once. What’s the point if you can’t get a hot glazed donut?

They have the most incompetent people working the drive thru! Furthermore, the drive thru is right next to the street so you can’t hear anything and the worker can’t hear you. I ended up repeating my order at least 10x, the woman working the drive thru window was a bimbo and couldn’t remember the 3 doughnuts I ordered. She looked like she hated her life and her job and paced around inside the building(where I could see her) and ignored me leaving me to wonder if I was even going to get helped!

On a sunny day we decided to grab a few donuts and go to the park. My husband ordered 3 donuts and I ordered the donut holes. assortment pack, 20 piece. We got our donuts and was on our way. We get to Steel Lake in federal way and I opened my cute little box. I was pist! There were maybe literally 5 chocolate cake donut pieces in there… but that’s not the worse part. My original glazed donut holes were just pieces of cut up donuts from a full size donut!!! They took a regular glazed donut and probably cut it with a plastic knife. The donuts were swished from the knife. I have never ever experienced this from any mom and pop donut shop. Lucky for them I was in federal way when I opened the box, otherwise I’d raise hell. If you don’t have donut holes that day for what ever reason(employees ate them all), then say you are out! Do not cut up a donut and put it in the box! And who ever cut it up can’t count since I did not get 20 pieces. Fix that management! No stars if I could… Btw, it’s so cute that someone made a Unilocal account just to comment on my review at crack head hrs… probably works at this joint lol! Side note, the employees eating the donuts comment is a joke… or maybe not… and I’ve had the donut holes before and I know the difference between cut up pieces from a circular donut VS donut holes.

Great staff, great service, the place is super easy to get to from I-5, and it has the whole mall parking lot(which at times they utilize because this place gets packed during peak hours). Not a lot of places that aren’t super pricey offer an experience to the customer to observe production, this location does. Bring the youngsters and let them observe!

I obviously love Krispy Kreme. This place is well kept and clean, BUT when my husband and I went in there last to get doughnuts, the woman who was grabbing them used her bare hands… Even though she had a piece of that grabbing paper in her hand as well. Not saying the woman was filthy but I would have prefer the doughnuts had been handled with gloves on for food safety.

Have to agree with the others about service. About 6 people in line and it took 2 minutes before ANY of us were served. From observation, it looked like NONE of the employees were proactive nor did they seem to know what to do beyond their duty. BUT… kudos to the machines that made our donuts. Delicious! Minus two stars because of the incompetent staff.

Love me some Krispy Kreme donuts. minus 2 stars for the girl who was working in the front. She was talking to another coworker arguing about something while taking care of a customer. That’s a big no no. Help your customer first.

Way to much sugar for taste(& I have good taste) The only time I would recommend KK is when it’s late and the good doughnut bakeries are closed and u just really really want a doughnut.

I typically don’t like leaving negative reviews, but my experience has really rubbed me the wrong way. My wife and I went to here and Kaleb who works here came up and ask can I help you. My wife asked for two glazed donuts. He grabbed two off the conveyor belt that were not glazed yet and when she asked can I get two that are glazed, he said no you can’t it’s too late. Too late? He sat there with a pissed off look while we tried to figure out what else we wanted. He upset my wife so she walked off and I picked three donuts and paid. When I asked him what his problem is because I’m getting an attitude from him, he said sorry I’m having a bad day. I totally understand having a bad day but flat out disrespect is uncalled for and this really pissed me off.

Ugh terrible customer service. We went drive-thru and they could hardly understand my order, so badly that they put another person on the speaker. I had to re do my entire order again. Besides the terrible customer service at drive-thru, the donuts were ok tasting. It wasnt worth the drive or being upset, next time I will just gobelsewhere. I do not recommend this place.

I honestly don’t like doughnuts — I don’t know why. And yet I keep coming back here to buy donuts only to not eat them. Perhaps it’s just the fun of getting everyone else excited to get Krispy Kreme. Going there and just smelling the air and watching the fresh made doughnuts floating along the hot oil and getting glazed with goodness. I’ve of course had the doughnuts fresh and it never ceases to amaze me — and yet I think I just crave the idea and the smell more than the eating of it. Oh yea and at 10:50pm, it’s half off a dozen.

Love their doughnuts! Great taste, maybe a little too sweet to some. Doughnuts are always(usually) stocked and ready to go. Great, fast service as well. Night time after and around 10PM tends to get a bit busy. Love the different flavors they carry, especially during special holidays and whatnot. Of course it’s very unhealthy for you, but live a little right?

Went on for free doughnut day. My friend and I were worried it was going to be hectic however it wasn’t. They kept all their doughnuts stocked and were very fast. I’ll have to come back another day to try other flavors. I tried the lemon cream which I think is a limited flavor. It was yummy!

So I came here back when we went to Ocean Shores a few weeks ago. I’m very particular about my donuts and I love the classic glazed donut but no one can quite make it like Krispy Kreme! My friends stocked up on a multitude of donuts while I bought Krispy Kremes version of a frappé. It was alright. I could tell it was all powdered and such but it gave me the sugar boost I needed. Donuts will always be superb! I wish they had a closer location. This location as do most locations has a drive thru.

It’s funny coming from California where Krispy Kreme originated to Washington and going to a Krispy Kreme. I just mmoved to WA not long ago and love seeing places from Cali… FIRST these donuts LOOK like a REAL Krispy Kreme but are they??? NOPE!!! The donuts are made with a mix of some other kind of dough from doughnuts you buy at average doughnut shops. The doughnuts here are still kind of heavy like average doughnut shops. REALKRISPYKREME doughnuts melt in your mouth!!! They are SUPER soft and light and fluffy! These doughnuts here have the locals fooled. They have nothing to compare it too. So they have no clue… A friend bought some to work one day and I was like wow they have a Krispy Kreme here?! Tried the doughnut and it was greasy, heavy and nasty. It was a lemon filled and the lemon filling was disgusting! I decided to give them another chance so when I was out and about in Tacoma I went and bought two regular glaze doughnuts. They looked like Krispy Kreme but one bite I KNEW these were fakes! The owner of this one must be cutting cost by using cheap dough mixed in with the real recipe or type dough used with real Krispy Kreme doughnuts to save money and rip off customers who don’t know any better. What I will say is they are probably better than other doughnut shops but THIS place is NOT a real Krispy Kreme doughnut. If you ever go to California try one. California Krispy Kremes know better than to try and pass off fakes it would be an uproar for real! Lol! Now all Washington needs is an In & Out Burger!
