My family went there and I had the broken rice. It took a while but the nice old ladies came out with heavy plates of our food(our parents told us to help them carry it haha). No seriously, the plates are really heavy. The broken rice had really good presentation and tasted pretty good. My dad had the Phở which he said was good – but not out of this world. They chatted up with our parents and laughed over some stuff. Overall a great experience.

Best Vietnamese restaurant in Tacoma! On par with top notch Vietnamese places in Seattle like Tamarind Tree and Green Leaf. Great broken rice, rice noodles, soups, crêpe, phở and vietnamese sandwich. The Bun Rieu(crab paste soup) is my go-to, though other favorites are the vegetarian phở(dried shiitake!), the crêpe(so crispy! so many vegetables!), the Banh Mi and the combination broken rice(the flavoring of the pork is incredible). And it’s run by the friendliest lady!

Crêpe looks fantastic but tastes gross. Greasy and unpeeled shrimp made it a pain to try and eat. The service was horrible, having to get up ourselves multiple times. Don’t go here, go to East West on 26th/Proctor for great Vietnamese!

This restaurant serves the best Vietnamese food in town. If you are from the South of Vietnam, you should come and try this restaurant because all the foods will remind you of the foods in Sai Gon. It is even better than Phở Dragon because the two ladies that own this restaurant are from Sai Gon. They are really nice and sweet. I love them and I love the foods so much. Come try it guyssss

So I guess I am writing the first review here. I will make it very short in 1 word: delicious! I have tried various broken rice restaurants but obviously this restaurant delivers the best quality of all. First, it serves true broken rice, not like the normal rice. Pork chop is soft and full of flavor. Also, I truly respect the lady who is in her 70s but still works with her full energy. The restaurant is pretty quiet when I visited during lunch time. It needs more work in terms of marketing to appeal more customers apparently. Overall my experience there was outstanding. Will surely be back!
