amazing food and drinks! the baristas have always been super nice and welcome every customer that comes in! Madeline is great at making people specialty orders and does it all with a smile on her face! Hands down my favorite place to study at!!!

Not too bad. Used to be a little better. Coffee and service. Works in a pinch. The staff in the morning during the week are generally the best. They do love their Seahawks and the 12th man is in effect.

The welcoming environment, great coffee, and pleasant baristas are what keep me coming back. Convenient location on the way to work. I like the new logo and apparel that just came out.

Drinks were ok. It’s the customer service that’s a turn off. Was meeting here weekly with a group of girls, and without fail the same worker interrupts our conversation to tell us every time at closing or a minute before ‘Hey we’re closed at 8.’ And stands by the door waiting for us to leave. We ordered drinks. Just makes you feel very unwelcome and unappreciated.

After years of ordering a Mocha Frappé from any coffee place I went to, I’ve concluded that Cutter’s Point makes the best one. Not only is the taste superior to others, but the graininess/smoothness of the ice is by far the best blended. I come to this location whenever I’m in town, and the baristas are always friendly and even remember me even though I only go every so often. My only complaint is that there is only a 50% success rate of me getting whipped cream when I ask for it! My taste buds get angry, but my pancreas is thankful!

I am so happy that this place is right down the road! I just moved to the area so I stopped in to have try them out. They were very welcoming and made me a delicious cup of coffee. I also tried one of their breakfast sandwiches it was much better than Starbucks. They use a Panini press after heating it up briefly in the microwave so the bread doesn’t get chewy like it does at Starbucks. Their pumpkin spice latte is one of the best that I’ve had. They don’t use too much syrup, so you get to indulge without feeling like you’re drinking a bag of sugar. The prices seem reasonable(maybe even a little less expensive than some places).

HORRIBLE coffee HORRIBLE service. I won’t go into too much detail, just bad experience all around. While waiting for our food my 12 year old daughter says to me «Wow, That lady was really rude» Yep she was. First time my daughter has ever taken notice of poor customer service. We both felt extremely uncomfortable, unwelcome, and out of place. It was really strange for lack of a better word. We ate our bagels as quickly as we could, didn’t drink the coffee, and got the heck out of there. It’s obvious they cater to their regulars. Felt like there should be a sign on the door«no outsiders allowed» No joke. Get over yourselves

I’ve been in here a few times now. It always seems to take a long time to get my drink. It feels more like a daycare than a coffee shop, with young kids hanging around behind the counter. Doesn’t seem safe to have kids behind the counter. I like the Kent/Midway location better

I have to say I do not like Cutter’s Point coffee — drip or otherwise, but the staff are SONICE. The pound cake, breakfast burritos and sandwiches are all good. The space is nice with a variety of customers. Plus the Groupons make this place a steal.

Where to begin? Service sucks! They rush you and are impatient. They don’t greet everyone the same. I feel like you have to be a regular to get good service there. The manager was actually trying to rush is out the door 10 minutes before closing and persistently reminded us she was closing again in 15 seconds! Annoying! NEVERGOINGTHEREAGAIN!!! I want to post NO stars!!!

The only good drink that they have here is Coffee Toffee Crunch, Nothing else. The servers there are generally nice but I don’t usually go to a coffee shop to chit chat so improving their coffee quality would be a good way to attract customers :) All of the drinks are extremely sweet with little coffee. I always order extra espresso shots but still… never turned out exactly how I wanted it. I really want to support Cutter Point but Starbucks always make my coffee perfect thus I don’t go here as often as I could.

Horrible coffee, and then try to cover it up with way too much syrup. If a barista doesn’t know how to make an iced Americano she should probably choose a new profession. The manager was dodging phone calls because she was«with a customer» aka planning her wedding for Dec 5.

I agree with the gripes about the service! Consistently bad. If you are a regular good for you, otherwise go somewhere else. About a year ago I wrote to the corporate office filing a complaint about the service and guess what I heard back. NOTHING. I guess the do not care attitude starts at the top. Today, I tried the drive up again and ordered a caramel macchiato. Once again rude at the window but whatever, it is expected. So I was handed my drink, no sleeve(too hot to handle cup) not even a thanks for coming. Got to work tasted it and it was basically an americano with foam. No caramel, no flavor, no nothing. Can’t drive back to let them know and show them it was not what I ordered, because I am at work, so here is your well-deserved review. One star is optional. Over priced cup of swill I could have gotten at 7 – 11 down the street for 99 cents.

Staff can be rude if you don’t have their«look». They prefer regulars and are short with nonregulars. Though the coffee is amazing. The prices are decent and bagels are yummy. The have a fairly wide selection of drinks and eats.

The gals here are so friendly and remember names, drink orders and personal details. The coffee and food is tasty and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming Witt plenty of space to sit. Always clean and well kept! They do a damn good latte!

I’m not sure why some other reviewers had such a bad time here. The baristas are some of the friendliest people I’ve met, and they always make me and my friends feel welcome. The food here is delicious– the cake pops, pumpkin scones, and breakfast burritos are to die for. The coffee is so tasty– you can have free refills of drip coffee for as long as you’re in the shop. Their Fisherman’s Blend roast is so delicious that I bought a bunch to brew at home. This has become my go to coffee shop– I love it! Make sure to request a loyalty card when you go!

oh boy not very good at all first of they don’t even serve anything smaller then a 12oz. Second the coffee itself is not tasty as it seems that they rely on flavored syrup to do the work for them. Cutters Point is basically Starbucks, just rebadged.

This is the worst Cutters Point coffee I have ever been to. Horrible customer service and very rude staff. I normally go to the kent location and all the girls there are amazing and so sweet. I always order a cake batter frap. If you have not had one you should, they are delicious. But when I went into the Tacoma location the girl asked me for my order and when I told her what I wanted she said, «oh we don’t have that anymore. It’s been gone for about a year.» I was shocked to hear this. She then proceeded to stare at me so I asked if they had anything like it and she just responded with no. She didn’t try and be helpful, or suggest other drinks I could have. So I decided I was not going to get a drunk today and left. But before I walked out she told me how Cutters was a franchise and they are different… Great thanks for letting me know, that’s not helpful to me. I would never go here again. Worst service ever!

Ah! More coffee choices continue to spring up around my home! I got a grande white chocolate mocha here. It was nice and smooth and not too rich likes some coffee drinks can get when it involves white chocolate. The service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is a good place to chill. It seems busy and I settled in a nice cozy chair. All of the tables were taken but a small one that was by a bunch of cops having coffee.(Eye Roll) I had enough cops from last year to last me a life time and being in close proximity to them makes me more squeamish of them than before. That though is not Cutter’s Point issue. Come one! Come all!
