really, really, REALLY disappointed in tonight’s take out meals from here. we picked up our order within the 20 min. we were told the food would be done and when we got home(which we live literally in the apartments right behind this place) NODISHWASHOT. I won’t even post a picture because all 6 dishes ended up in the trash barely touched. my friends and I are all Asian and we know what real flavor tastes like in Asian cuisine. every. single. dish. was subpar. I don’t know where all these high ratings are coming from cause almost everything was BLAND. first, we ordered the seafood basket: bland seafood and vegetable stir fry on top of «fried» noodles and the noodles look like they came straight from the package bbq pork fried rice: there’s no words except just dry pork pieces, minimal pieces of carrots, and barely any flavor. wonton soup: my husband almost gagged trying a spoonful, said it tasted really weird. we even tried putting soy sauce and pepper for taste-no luck. my friend tried it and gave the saddest look after eating a wonton. hot and sour soup: my friends said the flavor was okay. and finally the two orange beef orders: this made me the most disappointed. the description says DEEPFRIED beef in orange flavored sauce. first of all, when we opened the two boxes of it, they were soggy as hell, not a single piece looked deep fried. it tasted worse than food that’s been sitting out all day. the«orange flavor» was from bitter peels. my friend spent $ 40 and I spent $ 30 on dishes that were so bad that I couldn’t go without saying anything. stay away!!!

Outstanding service and food loved the barbecue pork fried rice! And great mango bubble tea/smoothie!

The food isn’t bad. There are not a lot of «great» Chinese restaurants around this area, so I rarely give 4 or 5 stars for Chinese here. I don’t mind this one and I eat here pretty often. I think that it is a little overpriced for the quality of the food. I do like the fact that it’s a place that you can actually sit down and eat in and not a to go place. The staff is really nice.

Service was poor. Also the food wasn’t very good. They serve soup, and will not provide crackers upon request. The server walked by a few times without offering a refill and I never did get a refill. I had to take a business phone call when I arrived prior to ordering, and she was not at all understanding that I may be a few mins before I can order. I basically had to put the client on hold and just order SOMETHING so she would go away. Also gave us one ticket instead of split three ways like requested.

Sorry, but we won’t be dining here again. We ordered take-out, so we had no idea just how awful it was until we got home. Had we dined in, we would have complained. We ordered chow mein with two meats and shrimp, but we saw mostly noodles. It was like paying nearly $ 10 for a box of spaghetti. There were some shrimp in there, but they tasted like they were spoiled — really horrid taste. The«fried» rice seemed to be mostly white rice with just a few vegetables tossed in and tasted extremely bland; and although the sweet and sour pork had good flavor, there wasn’t much actual pork in our box. It was mostly carrots and vegetables. My husband hadn’t wanted to come here in the first place because of our last visit here, but I talked him into it. Now I have to hear«I told you so» every time we drive by. It looks as though the better reviews were quite awhile ago. I’m wondering if they have changed hands???

Food was good but not amazing! There was flavor. We ordered the Chicken Chow Mein which had thin noodles but it had lots of chicken. We ordered the Peking Chicken which had the chile pepper for spicy but was not. The pieces were large wings very well coated. The Both Mushroom Chicken had black mushrooms and straw mushrooms flavorful. The Hot Sour Soup surprised me because it had peas, shrimp and meat. I found it to be filling. Overall it was a good experience and would come back again to try some other items.

I lived near this restaurant and used to eat there once every couple of weeks. The food was pretty good, if unspectacular. The service was competent, though the waitresses always seemed tired and a little depressed. It’s definitely a cut above the usual strip mall Chinese food.

Ordered to go, but service was prompt and staff was extremely friendly. Decent food but a little overpriced for what you get. Back in California, we never spent more than $ 25 before taxes for two dinners that came with pork fried rice, an entrée each, and all of the appetizers(fried wonton, egg roll, soup) and it would’ve included a big bowl of soup to feed 6 people! BTW, $ 6 for a cup of wonton soup is quite expensive and definitely not enough for 2 people like it had suggested. Good location, but it won’t be our first choice for Chinese next time. $ 30 for a small container of chow mein, a box of chicken, and a cup of soup is way too much for too little of food.

We just moved to the area and thought we’d give this place a try. I can only describe the waitress as surly, which is really not an attitude you want in a server. The food was way overpriced for what you got and what we got was not very impressive. My sweet and sour chicken had a disproportionate number of what seemed to be raw onions, the mushrooms in my boyfriend’s beef with mushrooms were apparently so bad they were inedible, their walnut prawns are a bizarre fruit salad(seriously, the plate was ringed with canned peach slices, there was pineapple mixed in and it was topped with a cherry, none of which is mentioned on the menu), and the rice that they charge extra for was basically Minute Rice quality. I’m not really sure why anyone goes here but I can guarantee I won’t be bothering to go back. At least it was clean and the restaurant itself was pleasant.

This place deserves a ZERO. I ordered chicken fried rice to go. Once we started munching on it I realized the chicken just didn’t taste right. I decided to take a look at my chicken, & I was right the chicken was pink in the middle. So I called the restaurant bank. The young girl answered the phone & had no customer skills at all. She had the audacity to ask me if I was sure & that she doesn’t know if chicken was pink if it was raw. She also told me that her manager was too busy to talk on the phone She finally places The manager on the phone and she said I needed to bring it in so she can look at it to «see if I was telling the truth» I knew right then then I was never going there again. Once I brought it back she told me I was wrong that the blood was sweet and sour sauce. And the way the cut the chicken the sweet and sour sauce would magically be In there As she ripped up the meat to make it look like It wasn’t there. After telling her employee that«I was wrong» & «she’s not going to argue with me» in front of other customers she gave me my refund. I advise you DONOTEATHERE.

They charge for rice! I’ve never been somewhere that the rice was not included with the meal. It is especially weird considering how much a plate costs and how tiny the portions are. The staff does not seem at all happy to be there. I felt like I was bothering them just to ask for a refill on my drink. I guess the real appeal is the convenience of the location. But I think I would rather drive the extra fifteen minutes round trip and spend less for better quality.

The Chinese food here was pretty good. I had the wonton soup and curry chicken. Service was mediocre as they brought out the food pretty fast but didn’t check on me once until I stood up to leave. Might of given this place a 4 star but they charge for rice! Only place I’ve ever been where you order a entrée and you don’t get rice with it.

First of all, I want to say, «This place is amazing!» I come from Japan. LOVE Chinese food very much. Every time I went to a new city or a place on a business trip, I always find a good Chinese restaurant, especially Beijing roast duck, I tried to order one from this restaurant, Although it is the way barbecue, but there are juicy and very flavorful with Chinese style, the most important is the food had still succulent duck scent that attracts my taste buds, In addition to Beijing roast duck, we also ordered some traditional spicy Chinese food, we are very happy enjoy a real Chinese food, a worthwhile trip. the next opportunity will come again to taste some.

My husband and I have been coming here once every couple of weeks for as long as I can remember. The food is always excellent, we usually get the sweet and sour pork or the walnut prawns(which are my FAVORITE!). The won ton soup and pot stickers are also to die for! I highly recommend this place!

AOK… especially for Lakewood. It’s a little pricey for what you get but the service is friendly and food is tasty. Peking chicken is my favorite and I like their pot stickers. Best thing is that it’s really close to Steilacoom and in my old hood.

Had the garlic chicken and Mongolian beef. It was excellent! I lived in China, and this is the best Chinese I’ve had since being back in the States. If you want great food and great service, stop by! People who say Panda Express has better food… Have never eaten real Chinese food. Panda is good if you like a crap ton of sugar in your chow mein. Ha. It’s much better than Panda. The waitresses are so sweet and helpful. We will definitely come again.

Though their sweet and sour was good, the fried rice and mu-shu were amazingly bland and dominated by scrambled eggs. The kicker was the hair in the mu-shu pork. Our first time here will definitely be our last.

Disappointing! It’s been 4 years since our last visit to this restaurant, we use to eat there all the time when we lived in the area and we were so excited to return, we were looking forward to the mongolian beef and sizzling rice soup, but the food and service was mediocre. The meat was tough and the soup was luke warm. We asked for chopsticks twice and never received them. The worst part of our family night out was that you could hear the staff auguring with one another loudly. I think it would have been tolerable if they had done so in the kitchen away from the dining area.
