Went here today with coworkers because they have a vegan option for me and the normal fair for everyone else.
The food is good, the atmosphere is kitschy and the service is very good and fast.
I highly recommend it for weekday lunches.

I went there with a friend on a weeknight. Service was quick. I ordered a house salad, and it was a good size with a decent amount of toppings, and it came with a piece of garlic bread. I have heard the sandwiches are amazing, I will have to try one next time.
My only complaint was that there were customers smoking just outside the door, and the smoke was coming in (we were sitting near the door). Not cool when you are eating.

Had the Alfredo, the broccoli was perfect. Well done. Slightly crunchy as God intended. Great place for a calm meal for lunch

I have to give this place 5 stars solely on the food! Every single sandwich they have is amazing! I have had the Cuban, their cheesesteak sandwich and anything else on the menu! I am a big fan of simple, although I would say their sandwiches aren’t in the simple category, the menu is. They have really mastered the small amount of items on the menu. Talking about simple, all of their sandwiches come with a pickle and a bag of Tim’s brand chips. Who doesn’t love some Tim’s Jalapeño chips!
This place is great for a lunch party because the amount of sandwiches they make for take out is crazy. Sometimes if you are in the bar and its not very busy you could possibly wait a while if there is a big lunch order that is put in! But believe me it is certainly worth the wait!
I’ve ordered lunch to go from here a lot before I had actually even been to the bar! Before I had never actually step foot in the bar, I had always just put my order in at work and someone else had gone to pick it up. So my first experience there was not what I was expecting! You walk in to this small bar and it seems like you are on an episode of Sons of Anarchy (biker tv show). Bigger guys with big beards and the chain from your wallet clipped to a belt loop! However the service was quick and the man waiting on us was polite and helpful with the menu! Very good experience!
For the best hot sandwiches in town, this is a must!

This place is in a sketchy part of town, but that just adds to the experience. Incredible, fresh food and really cool people. My husband always gets the Cuban, and I think I have tried it all — cheesesteak, Ruben, turkey melt, and meatball sub most recently. They are all delicious!
Sandwiches come with chips/​pickle, and salads come with a fresh breadstick. All the food is fresh, fresh, fresh… Made on the spot, and brought directly out to you. You can taste the difference!

The best bar in Tacoma. Been there a few times and it’s never been a bad experience. Sit at the bar and chat — great people. More than what it looks like from the outside. Get in here!

I have been wanting to go here for some time. A good friend of mine told me they had a vegan sandwich on the menu. I had to try it.
First off, this is a bar. A small darkish bar. Looks like a bit of dive. So if you are going with friends know this. Were greeted on our way in by the bartender asking if I would like a Caucasian. I was wearing a Lebowski shirt. Good call.
Our server was quick and prompt with her greeting and our drinks and taking our order. She was also very knowledgeable about what was vegan (thank you!!). My friend very quickly got her salad with Blue Cheese dressing. She had been going on about the Blue Cheese dressing for quite a while. Come to think of it she had been raving about it since she told me about the place.
Now the wait for the sandwiches. And the wait. And the wait. For as not busy as they looked it took quite awhile to get them. Watching I figured out why. They do quite a bit of take out business. Like a bunch. When I got my vegan meatloaf sandwich I understood why. Oh dear. So good. So very good.
Oh and they have Vimana Kombucha. I had never had it before but the Lemon grass Ginger is out of this world. And our server was able to list off all the flavors they had without a second thought.
My only gripe was it is a bit on the spendy side. But truthfully one sandwich is like 2 meals. So yeh,

DELICIOUS sandwiches and bar food. I will go out of my way to stop here because the sandwiches are that tasty. Made with fresh ingredients and very clever, like their 3 cheese grilled cheese + tomato soup. Always delicious!

I love this place! I go here on lunch with coworkers, and the food is always tasty. I have tried two different sandwiches, and two different soups, and all were awesome. The prices are reasonable (about $ 9 for a huge sandwich with a side), and the atmosphere is fun.
